Hmm... I've a question... Why is it that in *every* Actor/OFC kind of fic, the author seems to wax poetical on every descriotion of the female cctercter? "She really was lovely. Her apricot colored hair was short and casual, stray pieces falling haphazardly into her face." Of course. I think like that, in those terms, at every chance. And I'm sure men all over, famous or no, always hae time for wonderfully poetic descriptions in the 7-second span between thoughts of sex.
"I returned my attention to the girl, Finn, who was smiling.
There was something about that smile.
It was so pure, so innocent…such soft, fragile, untouched lips.
Kissable…
I complemented that smile, only to be greeted with a politely puzzled expression."
Eek. That's all there is to it... eek.
And WHY is every OFC *perfect*? Or, in contrast, entirely too screwed up for their own good, which, of course, envokes sypathy and pathetic *love* from whatever character... *ahem* WHY? "She was pretty…petite, perfectly proportioned, and had a lovely smile to boot." Perfectly porportioned. Because, as we all know, every chance encounter people have is with perfectly porportioned, beautiful people...
Oi, a little realism would be appreciated. Accepting, of course, this is FICTION and all, it has room to be realistic...
However, the fic wine.ine. Finn seemed like an interesting character, even if she was *perfect*. Johnny's character seemed... to slip, a bit. *shrugs* Perhaps I'm out of the know and it is widely accepted that celebrity's go home with obnoxious Irish strangers and immediately fall for their *perfect* realitives... Eek.
