I loved how John told those people Isacc was his because I have a step dad myself; my mom started dating him when I was around 2 so he's the only dad I've ever known and I love him as if he were my real father. Most writers don't write stories like that, they write the happy complete family. I like this because John chose to love Isacc much as my father chose to love me.
