Awwww, this is such a cute story. I originally joined this site because another one was too strict with the content. and i happen to like smut thank you very much. LOL. so, i came here to read P.O.T.C, Harry Potter, and Naruto fics. Now, I am um....blushing to say that I am hooked on celebrity fanfic now. *giggles* I was reading some of your reviews, and I was sorry to discover that a beta would do such a thing as butcher a story, and make fun of the writer they are helping. some people can be so mean. I would never do anything like that. and i hate that people are such grammar snobs sometimes. i mean hello, we are basiclly writing glorified porn here, not great american literature. (i am not ripping on you or anyone else's writing skils, by saying that. so don't be offended, please.^.^) i also read that you deleted a nasty review you got. i got a really nasty one too, but i left it up. just to show how mean people can be. and i was pleased to discover she made a gramatical error, when she was complaining about my work. so of course i had to respond to it, and point out her error. *giggles* I adore Christian Bale, and I really like this story. so cute. so please update soon!!! I know you've been writing this for a while now. I just hope you decide to dig in and finish this! I want to know what Christian is going to do now..He's got to be floored by the fact that he is having a son. It's obvious he loves Morgan too. I'll be checking back for future updates :D

I love this story! I've hunted all over for Christian Bale stories, this seems to be the only one I've found and luckily it's a good one. I have a question though - I thought I heard mention in one of the chapters about her having a husband, but haven't heard anything since...is he gonna turn up later?

And the beta reader thing? I was lucky (when I wrote on FF.Net) to have a decent beta reader who collaborated with me on the story and tried to allow me as much freedom as possible, but sometimes things would be changed slightly - a writer knows their stuff, and when I was looking over the beta'd stories I'd notice things that I was sure I hadn't written. It also made things awkward in that she was on the other side of the world to me ^_^ it was so impersonal.

As handy as I'm sure they are if you get a good one, the good ones are just so very very hard to find and most of the time it's worth just giving up on the idea. A friend of mine wrote a story and got slagged off left, right and centre by her beta reader on God Awful FanFics - the beta not only insulted her fic, but went so far as to divulge real-life details and inspirations, including her son. I was disgusted.

Anyway, keep up with this great story - I wanna know if she'll tell Christian!
