Dude, you know I love you, right? This was so hot/sweet/...I dunno...nostalgic.
I mean, the timespan between your updates is torture - it's always just long enough that I start to panic that you're never coming back, and I'm doomed to just wander occasionally back to the site and reread, then weep over the fact that I'll never know what became of their lives. But your characters feel like old friends. I miss Cara!
Anyway, I still have that feeling...something about Ava's changed, and it isn't just that she's five years older. I can't put my finger on it. Also, I love the fact that she hasn't been with anybody else...it just says something about her and the way she feels about him. And I'm not sure what to think about Alex. I know him a bit from what you've written so far, but he still feels like an intruder. So I'm counting on you to sort that out for me...
And don't forget your other stuff! You had that great thing about the girl brooding in the movie theater that always has me wetting myself for more by the end, and the only female character that competes with Ava in my mind is Legs. ...Could I be more demanding? Dammit, quit your job, ignore your life, and write for my entertainment!
But anyway, thanks for the props on Follow Me, and I actually did write a chapter for Just Some Girl, too, for the first time in forever. Apparently being on break agrees with me, because I've been writing like crazy all of a sudden.
I love having time off! I love Thanksgiving! Whee!

I absolutely LOVE this story! I was hooked from the beginning of 'The Babysitter' and I still am. I cry, I laugh so hard I cry, and I cry so hard that I laugh. Damn, and the thought of Billie Joe actually skipping after someone is seriously amusing to me.... Keep 'em coming... at your own pace of course. I know what it's like to get rushed into writing chapters. Much love, Amanda
