I love the wording in your stories (Japanese man meat X P). I also love the little tidbits you put in on the cultural beliefs, especially surrounding the idea of love being a force that is strongest in nature; a bond knows no gender, flesh, etc. (and isn't that just in itself a force stronger than nature? That a culture that believes such openness is the culture with the hottest guys on the f'in planet!?!?)
But I have one question: you mention in your summary that you understand the band members 'aren't gay'. Well, regardless of the ideals I mentioned above, it's still the modern world and the idea is to attract a large audience, right? Well, wouldn't it be weird if they glommed all over each other on stage if they really weren't gay? I mean, 'fan service' or not, there'd have to be something really open there if they're not shy about fawning on each other. After all, foreign audiences would see it hastily as 'homoerotica', right? Eager to hear your opinion!
