Author Notes: The usual disclaimer: I don't own the people featured within this story, nor do I claim to know them at all on a personal level.

I do not know if they're like I have portrayed any of them, and personally, I can hope that they're not.

Have mercy, this is the first fanfiction I've written, let alone put up for others to see.

Kyo sat in the windowframe, staring out into space with the occassionally focused glance at the grey rain as it fell. The hazy sky, blue by default, was a stormy grey. Yet, he mused, it still manages to illuminate the room so I can see...
Kyo liked this room best of all the rooms in the group's complex. It was quiet, peaceful, empty, and Kisaki-free. This meant he could hide when the others went out, come here to unwind without having his neck breathed down on, and not worry about tripping over things as he hid in this most private sanctuary from that demonic bassist.
Feeling at ease, if a bit melancholy, Kyo let his mind wander. For a few precious moments, he was free and heady with thapphappiness. All too soon the gloomy rain's beat invited old memories to replay. Kyo, his mood sinking, decided to relive them, all of them... just this once.

Kisaki had taken the Three Musketeer's leave as a warrant to look for Kyo. After searching the entire complex, he opened the last door and smiled wickedly when he recognized the short vocalist in the window. Kyo, furthermore, was so lost in though that the didn't notice Kisaki lean against the doorframe with a smug smirk on his face.
Kisaki watched Kyo intensely as he marvelled over the subtle changes in Kyo's facial expression as he remembered the past. Kisaki enjoyed watching him, every line and plane moving with fluid, perfect co-operation. No jumps, no twitches... so distinctly different than whenever Kyo was aware of his presence. Kisaki's insides rebelled as if he felt ill. It wasn't from catching anything short of himself watching Kyo... like that.
Kyo smiled due to some far off memory and at once a red film of anger slipped over Kisaki's eyes and fueled his rage. He never smiles around me, even with kindness... Stupid ape, I could just push him out of the window, it'd only take slight shove... He wouldn't see it coming though... and he needs to! He needs to see how much I hate him because... it hardly matters... Just look at him... How dare he be happy without me? His back is still turned... stupid coward. In disgust, Kisaki snorted softly.

Kyo froze in a nanosecond. The sound, however soft, of the snort had shot him out of the heavens and plummeted him back to earth. Slowly, he glanced back over his shoulder and felt the familiar lead brick form in his stomach. Kisaki... here.. in my haven? I'm hallucinating... please... Kyo stopped breathing, stopped moving, closed his eyes, and prayed silently that his heart would be still as it continued to slam madly into his ribs. He felt his balance waver, but didn't bother to correct his position. Instead he begged for a quick end when he hit the cobblestone street... a broken neck perhaps.
He slipped.
Before he kissed sweet freedom, Kisaki was across the floor and was crushing Kyo's upper arm in his iron grip. Kyo's eyes went skyward. If only... one second later... is it one of you who hates me, gods, to curse me so? His eyes dropped to the street, surveying it as if he was a person damned to a fiery hell watching the gates of Heaven close and deny him access. Pain. Kyo glanced up at Kisaki's face and his stomach flipflopped. The Look. A weakly murmured "Thank you, Kisaki."

A slap, burning fire across Kyo's cheek. The force snapped his face forward and he found himself looking back out the window. Kisaki wasn't going to accept just a verbal thank you apparently, the hate was much too strong. He would, however, collect his 'fee' another way... The thought spread a sneer across his face. Shaking him several times, Kisaki hissed in Kyo's ear, "You short fool, we still have one last live. We don't want our star vocalist dead...yet." Feeling Kyo shake in fear, Kisaki dragged him inside and set the shorter man on the floor before proceeding to shake him violently. "You stupid, stupid fool!" he spit venomously.

With a lurch, Kyo realized that he was shaking on his own and that Kisaki was staring at him hungrily. Not again, please not again... His worst fear was confirmed as Kisaki pushed him forcefully against the wall.
Kisaki was across the floor, hand raised, a dangerous look to him. Kyo recognized that look and it sent a chill down his spine. He was going to be sick, he knew it... Kyo raised his hands to block.

Too late. Kisaki backhanded him with enough force to leave an angry welt and send him sprawling to the floor. Kisaki willed his heart stone cold and ignored the pitiful whimper that escaped from Kyo's throat. "I saved you, stupid chimp! I saved your scrawny ass! Thank me, bastard, properly! You better appreciate me, you vermin!" With a wicked glee, he noticed tears roll down Kyo's bruised cheek as he stammered apologies and thank you's.
Kisaki dragged Kyo to his feet and slammed him full force into the wall. He knew that he would have to cut the pleasantries short and finish before the three musketeers' return. Time for my reward for saving you, chimp...

Just the look in Kisaki's eyes chilled him to the bone. When he had -that- look in his eyes, Kisaki was most out of control. Kisaki had him pinned, greedy thoughts on mind, to the wall. As a token, Kyo half-heartedly struggled against the larger man, already knowing that it was in vain. Unable to withstand Kisaki's burning gaze, Kyo looked away in self-disgust for being so damned helpless. Please get away... please just go away...

A car parking in the drive. Kisaki wrapping a violent hand around Kyo's throat. Car doors opening, then slamming shut.. one... two... three. Kisaki leaned over Kyo, biting his lower lip until it bled. Three male voices, muffled by the walls outside, one far less frequent, chattering. Kisaki pressing his lips hard to Kyo's. Mine...

Feeling ill as he broke into Kisaki's cruelty, Kyo tried to shut himself down mentally and go hollow like he had at the start of this personal hell. Kisaki... just kissing me... not... not yet... Convulsing at the thought, he was brought back by Kisaki's hand clawing at his hip. Please let this end... please...

The front door opening, then closing. Muffled echoes of shouts from downstairs, floating upstairs. Kyo's lip still bled and it fueled Kisaki's passionate rage. Forcing his tongue into Kyo's mouth, he brutally took what he could not win fairly. Kyo... His hand clenched Kyo's throat like a rope to a twisted salvation, his hand clawing his way to a freedom it should not know. He wanted... he needed... He would have.

Kyo was dimly aware of the throbbing aches, the blood trickling from his lip and hip, and even less so of Kisaki's rude tongue. It was the sudden appearance of technicolor stars that caught his fading attention as he mumbled pleas. He was choking by Kisaki's poisonous will, he could no longer care. Yes... stars... just let me drift off to them...

Mine... my Kyo... my love... Mine!
A bittersweet finish to a sweet and sour kiss as rushed footsteps echoed from downstairs. Mine... Kisaki lost himself in the rush of another forbidden kiss.
