Black Holes and Revelations

I knew one thing as i rushed frantically around my boyfriends apartment trying to get myslef together in time for work, and it was that it's definitely not a good idea to stay out at a club until 3:00 in the morning; let's just say that I had the splitting headache to prove it.

I held a hand to my throbbing head and scrambled for my aspirin which had somehow rolled out of my purse and under the couch.

"Babe it's 8:43. Don't you have to be there at 9:00?"

I jerked my head upward and grimaced.

"What!?!?! 8:43 already?? Ray aren't you coming?" I demanded angrily.

I could tell by his calm countenance and the fact that he was still wearing his pajamas that he wasn't planning on it. Why even bother asking?

Ray bit his lip and looked at an invisible spot on his foot.

"Well i thought that i could just stay home and relax hun. I mean you, Jaden and the guys could handle it right?"

I sighed. How could I refuse that face?

"I guess but I really could use your amazing boyfriend skills to make my morning better. You know how boring these follow up meetings are and I already feel like crap to top it all off."

I could tell that the last thing he wanted to do was go but I felt like if I had to suffer than i damn sure didn't want to do it alone.

"How about I take you to dinner tonight at Cafe Sushi!" He inquired hopefully.

I couldnt' help but smile at his compromise since Cafe Sushi happened to be his favorite place in the entire city.

"Fine cuppeycake but let it be known that you owe me big time." I proclaimed as i popped an aspirin into my mouth.

He nodded apprectiatively and kissed me goodbye as I rushed out of his apartment preparing for a morning from Hell...

By the time I arrived to the metting site it was 9:05 which wasn't to bad considering I jogged about 12 blocks in the pouring rain.

My best friend and my co-worker Jaden was already plopped down into a big squishy black chair with her face buried in a magazine, Gerard was looking out of the window into the bleakness, Bob was quielty drumming on his lap and Frankie was staring in Jadens general direction blankly.

"Hey guys." I stated as i shook my coat off and took a seat by Jaden.

"Hey Ronny." They all replied in unison.

"So I'm five minutes late and this meeting hasn't even started yet?" I inquired.

Jaden looked up from her magazine and grunted.

"Nope. We've actually been here since like 8:30. Iv'e read the same article three times already."

"I smiled and wheeled my chair around to view the torrnetial downpour that was taking place beyond the window.

"Where the Hell is Ray?" Bob suddenly questioned from the other side of the room.

I looked up before replying.

"He stayed at home. We were out pretty late last night and he wasn't really up to the morning madness bit."

Bob nodded and resumed tapping his leg.

About 5 minutes later the door to the office opened and Mikey emerged sporting many scarves and the largest cup of coffee I've ever seen.

"Mikey there you are!! I was worried sick! I thought you might have gotten kidnapped or mugged on the streets!!" Gerard declared loudly as he rose from his perch and took a seat by Mikey.

Mikey shook his head, sending water droplets everywhere.

"No, I just got stuck in the longest line in the history of lines,Gee."

I instinctively made a grab for Mikey's coffee and sipped a generous amount. Then flashing a friendly thankyou smile I placed it back in Mikey's hand.

Simply put I loved and needed my morning coffee and since I woke up to late I was unable to go on my routine coffee run. I knew Mikey wouldn't mind, he was pretty much the nicest person in the entire world, but it does take a long time for him to open up to people.

Jaden and I have been touring with My Chem. for about a year now. I'm in charge of the makeup and she runs the hair division. In this year I've started dating Ray Toro, who's amazing guitar playing skills can only be matched by his kick ass hair.

The past 5 months that I've been with him have been really cool. He's a great guy and i feel lucky to be apart of his crazy life.

My thoughts were suddenly disturbed by the door once again opened but this time it was MCR's tour manager. Well in short the bitchy dude with OCD. Jaden and i were always forced to tag along because we were the heads of our divisions, so I guess we got special privliges.

Of course I wouldn't consider hours of angry tirades much of a privilege but I wouldn't trade my job for anything, so holding my head up high i endured 3 hours of torture and actually manages to walk out of the place with a smile on my face.



I promise it's goinf to get alot funnier and way more interesting!!! I just have to post the other chapters I have!
