I’m tired of being here
Suppressed by all of my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
Because your presence still lingers here
And it won’t leave me alone

Tears welled up in emerald eyes, blonde hair hanging limply over his face. Arms crossed, knees pulled up against his chest as he leaned into the comfort of the corner of the small room he found himself in. He sat there, rocking softly; it felt as though his heart had been ripped from his chest, leaving nothing but a hollow void in its wake.
A comforting arm wrapped around his slumped shoulders. Emerald eyes looked upwards to be greeted by soothing sapphires. He didn’t so much as blink in surprise; just leaned forward and let himself be embraced by the strong arms of the man who now knelt before him.
“Jonesy…why do you look so sad?” The pure falsetto voice seemed confused, “Please don’t cry anymore?”
The blonde did not reply for a long while, he could not stop himself from crying. Finally he was able to control his emotions enough to speak.
“D-Dazza…I-I’m sorry…” he was shaking in the other man’s grasp.
“You don’t need to be…you never need to be…I understand. Please stop crying? I love you Danny, I hate to see you in pain.” The other man tilted Daniel’s chin upward and again he found himself captivated in his lover’s azure eyes.
A gentle kiss to the lips caused Daniel to close his eyes and serenity washed over him, if just for a moment.
“Darren…God, I’ve missed you.”
“I know, I’m sorry. I’m here now so you don’t have to worry anymore.” He spoke calmly, though his blue eyes seemed troubled. He bit his lip and added, somewhat regretfully, “I can’t stay long however, or they’ll miss me back home.” Daniel nodded understandingly.
“I know…” Daniel caressed the pale one’s cheek sadly, “Darren…?”
“Yes Daniel?”
“I’ve always loved you…”
“I know Danny…I know…”

*11 years beforehand*

Lips fought fore dominance in the heated kiss. Tongues danced to the tango of love, blue eyes flashing with electricity, green ones matching in intensity as the two bodies broke apart for a moment, panting.
“Are you sure you want to do this…?” The pale one asked, licking his lips, out of breath. The blonde one only smirked.
“Positive.” He whispered huskily, launching himself forward, pinning the other man to the wall, and bringing him into another heated kiss. The pale one moaned, opening his mouth in quiet invitation, to which the blonde was all too happy to reply. Tongues entwined once more as the two wrapped around each other.
Clothes were thrown across the room in the midst of passion, the two moving over to the messy bed, falling on it carelessly, lips never ceasing contact, hands roaming, groping unfamiliar territory.
At long last Daniel tore himself away from the beautiful singer, who was now pinned down underneath him, smiling up at him expectantly.
“I’ve loved you from the moment I first laid eyes on you.” He murmured into Darren’s ear causing tears to spring to his sapphire eyes. This alerted the lanky guitarist, he gently brushed away the other boy’s tears.
“Dazza, Dazza what’s wrong, love? Why are you crying?” The boy blushed deeper, wiping at his own eyes before apologizing profusely.
“I-I’m sorry…it’s just…nobody’s ever said— nobody’s ever loved me before…Do you really mean it Danny?”
“Of course I do…I mean. Every. Single. Word.” He punctuated each word with a kiss down Darren’s neck, until he reached Darren’s collar bone, where he bit down tenderly, earning a gasp from the singer.
“Th-then I love you to Danny. Actually I think I always have. I think I loved you before I even met you.” He smiled at the blonde who chuckled, nuzzling further into his neck.
“Aww Darren… Always the poetic one right?” Darren grinned, pulling Daniel up to meet his lips with another bruising kiss.
“Always…”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“It’s true you know…I knew I loved you before I met you, I knew I loved you before either of us were even born, you’re my soul mate Daniel, my one true love, you were always there when I needed you.” Darren whispered comfortingly into Daniels ear, trying desperately to make him stop crying. “Always…from that night on.”
Daniel looked up at his lover once more, his eyes still tinged red from crying.
“Was I?” he whimpered.
“Yes, even if you were not there in body, I always felt your spirit” Darren smiled angelically at Daniel, causing the lanky guitarist to smile as well. “I have to go now Danny, but I’ll be back, I promise, and we can talk more of happier times.”
Daniel nodded shakily, looking away, not able to look the singer in the face any longer.
“I love you Daniel. I always will”
“…I love you too Darren.” But when he finally looked up too see darren’s shining face, the pale beauty had already gone.
