Chapter Ten: Valentines Day

Jessica sat down on the side of the couch gently shaking Kendal.
"Wake up baby."
Kendal stretched slowly opening her eyes. Jessi smiled lightly rubbing Kendal's stomach.
"Nap time is over sweetie. Daddy will be here soon to take us out for valentines day."
Kendal sat up grinning. "You mean I get to go?"
Jessi laughed nodding. "Yes. You get to go."
Kendal jumped up from the couch pulling Jessi's hand.
"Come on mommy. I wanna wear my pretty dress."
Jessi stood up from the couch letting Kendal pull her up the stairs. She opened Kendal's closet letting her pull out her favorite sundress and sandles. Jessi gave her a quick bath pulling Kendal's curls into a ponytail and dressing her.
"Now, go sit very still while mommy gets ready."
Kendal nodded running down the stairs to watch t.v.
Jessi showered then dried her hair clipping the long curls up and sliding into a simple sundress. Justin walked into her room sitting down on the bed.
"You look nice."
She glanced over her shoulder smiling at him. "Thank you. What are you doing tonight?"
Justin fell back on the bed sighing. "I guess i'm just going to go clubbing."
He rolled over onto his side propping himself up on his elbow.
"So you're going out with Lance huh?"
Jessi looked up at Justin in the mirror and nodded.
"Yeah. He wanted to take me and Kendal out tonight."
Justin nodded and looked down. "So you two are getting close."
Jessi turned facing him. "We're taking it slow. Does that bother you?"
Justin sat up hugging a pillow to his chest.
"No. Just don't want you hurt."
Jessi sighed biting her lip. "Well that's why we're moving slow."
She turned back to the mirror putting her earrings in watching Justin in the mirror. He sighed throwing the pillow to the bed.
"You know we've got that event coming up next week. Right?"
Jessi nodded grabbing her necklace.
"Well Chris has invited Nichole."
Jessi slowly nodded turning to face him.
"I see. Well, we're not together, so it doesn't matter."
Justin stood walking over to her.
"I know it does. I just wanted to warn you before you saw them together."
Jessi smiled tightly. "Thank you."
She stood on her tiptoes kissing his cheek.
"I'm ok with it. Really."
Justin nodded rubbing her arms.
"Well good. Just concentrate on you and Lance for once and don't worry about everyone else."
Jessi smiled as he hugged her.
"Have a good time."
He walked out closing the door behind him.

Lance walked in the door and snuck up on Kendal in the den. He reached over the back of the couch grabbing her side laughing as she jumped. Kendal stood up on the couch placing her hands on her hips.
"Not funny daddy."
He leaned over kissing her cheek.
"I thought it was funny."
She stomped her foot on the couch crossing her arms over her chest pouting. He reached behind his back pulling a rose from his other hand and stuck it out to her.
"Happy valentines day."
She smiled grabbing the rose and throwing her arms around his neck.
"Thank you daddy. I love you."
Lance wrapped one arm around her waist picking her up.
"I love you. Where is mommy?"
Jessi walked into the den smiling.
"I'm right here."
He walked to Jessi carrying Kendal and kissed her pulling a dozen roses from behind his back.
"Happy valentines day."
Jessi took the roses smelling of them.
"Thank you . Happy valentines to you."
She wrapped one arm around his neck pulling him down pressing her lips to his. He tilted his head sliding his tongue into her mouth. Kendal rested on Lance's hip as the continued kissing slowly. Kendal put her hand on Jessi's shoulder pushing her away.
"Hey. Stop that. That's yucky."
Jessi pulled away from Lance laughing.
"I'll go put these in water so we can get going."
Lance nodded and Kendal held her rose out.
"Mine too mommy."
Jessi reached back taking the rose and walking to the kitchen.

The three of them sat in the back of a quiet little resteraunt eating dinner. When they were done Lance leaned down to Kendal his green eyes meeting the replica of his.
"Would you please have this dance with me?"
Kendal blushed grinning from ear to ear.
"Yes."
Lance stood up taking her by the hand and leading her out to a small little dance floor. He picked her up and slowly danced around the floor with her. Jessi leaned back in the chair sipping on her wine and watching them. Mike slipped into the chair next to her.
"He is doing really good with her."
Jessi looked over at him smiling. "Yeah he is. I am really glad."
Mike nodded watching them dance.
"I'm really glad to see the two of you together. I hope everything works out. That little girl really loves her daddy."
Jessi nodded looking back to the couple dancing.
"Yeah. She does."
She glanced back over at Mike, her smile fading.
"I guess this sorda sucks for you. It's valentines day and you have to babysit."
Mike shook his head looking at her.
"Not really. Lance said after this you guys were going back to his house to stay the night. Then I get to go on my own date."
Jessi laughed shaking her head. "Just behave yourself. You hear me. I don't want to hear about you being bad on the one of those fan web sites."
Mike looking up as Lance and Kendal came back to the table.
"Ya'll ready to get going home?"
Jessi nodded standing up.
"Yeah. Mikey here is read for his hot date."
Mike stood up checking around.
"Come on people. Let's get out of here."
The three of them followed Mike out of the resteraunt and out to the car.

Jessi slid one of Lance's t-shirts and curled up in bed next to him. He reached over turing out the lap next to the bed and pulled her tightly against him
"I really had a good time tonight."
Jessi rested her head on his chest softly moaning. "Me too. Thank you."
She raised her head placing her palm on his chest and resting her chin on the back of her hand.
Lance smiled tapping her on the nose.
"So. Would you be my dated next week for the social gala?"
Jessi hummed looking as if considering it.
"I don't think I have any plans. I'll have to check my schedule of course. But I think I can make it."
Lance laughed shaking his head.
"You think huh?"
She smiled moving up her lips hovering above his.
"Yeah I think."
She smiled as she lowered her lips closing the small gap between them. She opened her mouth letting his tongue slide along her teeth, cheek, and finally connecting with her tongue. He slowly rolled her over onto her back and rolling on top of her never breaking the kiss. She raised her knees on either side of him letting him settle between her legs. He pulled away raising himself as he slid one hand down slowly pulling up her t-shirt. He slid the shirt over her head throwing it to the floor and shifted to one side of her placing soft kissed along her chest as he slid his hand down sliding off her panties. He rolled back over settling between her legs again moving his lips along her neck, to her chin, and back to her mouth. She slid her feet up his legs hooking her toes into the waist band of his boxer brief and sliding them down. She moved her knees back up tilting her hips as he slid into her. She arched her back gasping as he buried his face in her neck panting with each thrust. She dug her nails into his back meeting each thrust encouraging him to go faster. She locked her legs around his waist and rolled him over onto his back. He raised his hips as she slid her feet out from under him and sat up. She placed her palms against his chest moving her hips in a circular motion. Lance grabbed her hips gasping and thrusting into her. Her breathing turned to gasping as she felt her climax building. Lance pushed his head back into the pillow pushing his hips up and pulling her down hard against him. He squeezed his eyes shut clenching his teeth his words whispered and running together.
"ohfuckJessigoodgo...."
His words faded as she felt his warm stream of fluids inside her. She ground her hips against him riding out her climax and colapsed on top of him. He hugged her tight against him until their breathing became controlled. She rolled over next to him resting her head on his shoulder. He kissed her forehead and looked into her eyes.
"I love you so much Jessi."
She took a deep breath lightly brushing her lips to his.
"I love you very much."
He smiled sighing happily.
"Good night baby."
She mumbled good night and watched him fall asleep.
