Once the dinner was over, everyone got up and started mingling, Amber went over to a corner away from everyone. Justin spotted her and went over to her, "Hey why have you been avoiding me all night?" Amber looked at him angry, "Yeah like as if you didnt know" "What are you talking about" "I saw you hugging Britney and you sure didnt seem unhappy" Justin laughed, "Baby it was just a hug. thats it an innocent hug" "Justin you know how I feel about her and yet you go ahead and hug her" "Well honey if I had kown you were gonna be coming down to tha practice I wouldnt have done it" "Oh yeah well what if I hadnt gotten there then huh? what would have happened next" Justin started getting angry, "Look Amber you know damn well I would never cheat on you. I never have and never will. shes a friend thats all" "Well I dont want you talking to her anymore Justin" "Now thats not fair and its just not that easy Amber" "This discussion is over with Justin" She walked past him and out the door. Chris looked over in time to see her walk out upset and followed after her.
Amber ran outside and leaned up against the wall crying softly. Chris ran outside and saw her crying and ran up to her, "Hey whats wrong huh?""Justin hes a jerk" "Wow that somehting I never thought I would hear out of your mouth what happened huh?" "I saw Justin hugging Britney and he knows how I feel about her." "Just a hug nothing else?" "Yeah Chris but to me thats enough because he knows how I feel about her and how jealous I am of her and what they had" "But you have much more with Justin than he did with Britney"Amber laughed sarcastically "Yeah right like what huh?"Chris lifted her chin softly "You have his love and thats more than Britney ever had.He didnt truly love her because the whole time he was with her your all he would talk about, wondering what you were doing and where you were. You were the one in his heart, not her" Amber kinda smiled "Really Chris?"Chris nodded "Yeah really and to be honest with you it got me jealous" "It did why?" "Well um because I saw how happy Justin was when he around you and when he talks about you and it just makes me wish I had someone like you in my life"Chris smiled at her and looked deep into her eyes and started leaning in slowly finally pressing his lips against hers. Amber was a bit caught off gaurd but returned the kiss. Chris pulled back from her and smiled, "Well um I guess id better get back inside. Amber nodded still in a state of shock. Amber stayed outside for a bit longer thinking about the kiss she and Chris had shared. She had enjoyed it but she also felt intensly guilty. She finally decided to go to the hotel and think awhile.
Later on that night Justin finally got back to the hotel. He walked into the room and saw Amber laying on the bed watching TV. "Hey baby" "Oh hey" "Well I see your still mad at me" "Justin I um have to tell you something" Justin went over and sat down on the bed, "Ok i'm listening talk to me" Amber bit her lip and looked down taking in a deep breath, "I um kinda kissed Chris" Justin laughed, "Wait a sec I don't think I heard you right it sounded like you said you kissed Chris" "I did say that Justin" Justin stood up looking hurt, "Why would you do that to me?" "I dont know Justin it just kinda happened. He saw me get upset after our fight and we were talking and it just kinda happened" "So what are you gonna go off and kiss guys when we get in arguements huh?" "Im sorry Justin I feel bad about it" "Well not as bad as I feel Amber. Were through" Amber got tears in her eyes, "No Justin please i'm sorry" "No Amber i'm the one whos sorry here. I'm sorry I ever met you" He grabbed his stuff and left the room slamming the door behind him. Amber collasped onto the bed crying.
