Chapter 10

13 months later, Valentines Day

Jen and Sean were outside eating a romantic dinner she had prepared for them. The sun was setting and they sky was a beautiful color of reds and oranges. Jen had moved in with Sean about 3 months ago, not wanting to be by herself anymore. After they had finished eating they went and sat out on the beach letting the ocean lap at their feet. Sean was holding her in his arms.

“Sean, this has been the best Valentines day.” She told him.

“Really?” he smiled down at her.

“I don’t think it could get any better.”

“Really, I think it could.”

“How could it get any better?”

“Oh I don’t know, I may have gotten you something extra special.” He told her handing her a wrapped box.

“What is it Sean?” she smiled.

“Open it and see.”

Jen un wrapped the box and when she opened it her eyes grew wide. In it was a white gold ring that had a 2 carrot center diamond with little diamond chips around it.

“Do you like it?”

“It’s beautiful Sean.” She gasped.

He took the ring out of the box and slid it onto her finger.

“I want you to be with me always; I can’t live with out you, and will always love you no matter what.” He told her before kissing her.

“Sean, you know I’ll marry you.” She told him running her hand along his face, before kissing him back. “Now I have something for you.” She smiled at him getting up and pulling him up with her. “It’s in the house though.”

Sean followed Jen into the house where she handed him a little bag. He pulled out a card and opened it. Jen was nervous to what his reaction would be to her news. He read the card aloud.

“Happy Valentines to my Daddy” He stood for a moment looking at it then looked up at Jen.

“You’re Pregnant?”

“Yah, look in the bag again.”

He looked in and pulled out a small pair of yellow socks and a small pair of shoes.

“When did you find out?” he asked going over to her and pulling her into a big hug.

“Several days ago. Are you happy about it?”

“Yes, I couldn’t be happier! We’re going to have a tiny Vetter running around the house.” He said sounding excited.

“You will be a great dad Sean.” She told him.

“And you will be a great mom and wife.”

Sean took her hand and led her to the bedroom.

“How about we finish this day off with a celebration of our own.” He whispered in her ear.

She fell onto the bed and he lay on top of her supporting himself on his elbows, looking into her eyes. She ran her hands up his shirt feeling the muscles that she so loved before pulling his shirt up over his head and throwing it aside.

“I love you Sean Vetter.” She told him pulling him down to her for a deep kiss
