Track 01 - BathRoom

The girls didn't want 'Linda' to end - it was such a hyped song and they loved clapping along with the rest of the audience. Also it seemed the guys were giving off a lot more energy since their little break in between the main concert and the encore. The fans even liked the design of their 'One Night Stand' t-shirts - it was the same image that was on the previous banner up on the back wall behind Kai. But the words 'One Night Stand' were printed on the back, as was noticed when the guys turned around. However even after one song their faces were again covered in sweat. One thing that was on the fans minds is they couldn't wait for those t-shirts to be in stores - as previously mentioned they were currently only released to the band and staff.

The stage remained lit-up after 'Linda' so the audience could keep an eye on what the guys were doing before the next song. Kai had set his drumsticks down so he could fiddle with his earpiece, as it'd come close to falling down during his head banging. Reita was having his bass swapped over for the next song. Aoi was quickly but gently dabbing the towel over his face and Uruha was adjusting the dials on his guitar - somehow they had moved out of their settings. Ruki grabbed his water bottle that sat on Kai's platform so he could squirt a stream of water onto his mouth. He swallowed it and paused for a second before dropping his head and squirting more water over his head. The audience screamed and whistled at Ruki's stunt as he dropped the bottle and went back to his platform. He jumped up on his platform and shook his head so water was sprayed everywhere, again making the fans scream. Ruki grabbed the mic from its stand and raised his arm as he started to sing 'Ray'.

The audience were so excited to be hearing 'Ray' again. Just for the later half of the concert it was all songs that hadn't been performed for quite a few years. With the exception of 'Linda', it was like a major flashback for those fans that have been with the Gazette from the start. While Ruki sang 'If these eyes' all of the fans held both hands to their eyes and then stretched their arms out in front. When he sang 'didn't know the ray' the fans slowly swayed their arms from side-to-side above their heads. There was also not one person on the floor not singing every word along with him. Megumi was smiling as she watched Kai do a little back-up singing when Ruki sang 'Sakende'. Kira kept watching Reita - she never got sick of marvelling at how fast his fingers moved along the fingerboard of his bass. Ai noticed how much emotion Aoi put into his playing during 'Ray' and she knew he was sensitive, no matter how much people thought he sometimes looked angry. Kikyo also loved the emotion in Uruha's playing - she loved his guitar skills and really hoped to be as good as him one day. Mika kept her eyes on Ruki for the whole song. Maybe it was just the fact he'd sung to her a couple of times but she really came to like his character. Sometimes rough and in your face, other times caring and sensitive.

As the song was finishing, Ruki repeated 'Hikari sasu hou e' a couple of times before replacing the mic in it's stand and glancing out over the audience, tapping his foot absentmindedly to the music. His voice was beginning to give-way a little bit as he could feel the dryness in his throat. Just one more song - it would be one of very few times he couldn't wait to have some of the gargling medicine ... that stuff tasted awful. The music faded out nicely and the stage again faded out to black. With all of these stage blackouts you'd have thought the technicians were having electrical problems. But sadly the fans knew it was almost the end of the concert. Likely there was only one song left before they had to leave. The girls were showing fake pouts because the concert was over already but they knew there would be more chances to see them perform.

Megumi, Ai, Mika, Kira and Kikyo were again linking arms as they awaited the inevitable end to the concert. Another concert they won't soon forget, and they were sure to be talking about it at their work for a while. Especially if each of the girls talked on-and-on about their favourite band member. Then once this concert had blown over, talks would turn to their 'Decomposition Beauty' Tour and who was going to try and see the most live houses on their tour. Like Megumi was joking about before, they often joked about trailing the guys to each live house. But that was something fans could only dream about. Anyway, that night's concert had been long awaited and the girls even made two concert-friends of Mariko and Yuki. All seven of the girls even said their good-byes and thanked each other for their little chats, just in case they all got lost in the exiting crowd.

During the last stage blackout, the guys pulled themselves together to the last song for the night. Kai was again fiddling with his earpiece but only because it was starting to hurt the inside of his ear. It was obviously sitting wrong. Reita took a mouthful of water from his own water bottle that sat behind him against the wall - he couldn't wait to have a drink at the after-party. Aoi had his guitar quickly swapped over so he could adjust the sound dials before the last song. Uruha was again kneeling down in front of his fan to cool down - maybe the fact that it'd been a fairly warm day added to the fact it was so damn hot up on the stage. Ruki was again gripping the mic with both hands as it sat on top of the stand. His head hung between his arms as he swallowed a few times from an irritated throat.

When Ruki thought he was ready to keep singing, he lifted his head and spoke softly to the microphone - "We are Best Friends". The audience cheered as the stage lit-up and Kai began the opening for 'Best Friends'.

What a perfect song to finish the concert, just like they did for their first one-man 'Heisei Banka'. About ten seconds into the song when the flow of the music changed slightly, half of the fans jumped in surprise. Spurts of silver streamers shot out of barrels that seemed to be cleverly hidden between the main and extended stages. The spurts were powerful enough to reach the very back of the floor so every fan got at least a small part of the streamers. Of course the girls caught a really long piece, but ripped it up into five equal pieces. They even turned to see that Mariko and Yuki had wrapped their pieces around their wrist. With that they all glanced back up to the stage and jumped while waving their arms around randomly. When Ruki sang the middle verse 'Kore Kara Aruku' the fans stopped jumping and just waved their hands from side-to-side in front of them.

Towards the end of the song and it were just the last two choruses, Ruki sang the first one on his own but then Aoi, Uruha, Reita and Kai joined him in singing the last chorus. Seeing this the fans also sang loudly, again waving their arms in wide sweeps over their heads. So the whole audience looked like a human-wave as their arms waved in perfect unison. Finally as the music was coming to an end, Aoi, Uruha and Reita strummed out a few more random chords while Kai rattled over his drums one last time. Kai counted four beats on his drum before Ruki, Aoi, Uruha and Reita jumped on the last bash of music. Well, the fans just erupted into fits of cheering, whistling, screaming and clapping as Ruki half collapsed into his platform as he sit side-ways to the audience on it. Kai threw his drumsticks up into the air in excitement as he laughed and clapped along with the fans. Reita roughly pulled the strap of his bass over his head and stared out over the audience, his bass swinging lightly on its strap. Aoi and Uruha also pulled their straps over their heads and sat them on their cradles. They both lazily walked to the centre of the stage and hugged, which made Reita pounce on both of them. Kai now came down from his platform with a towel to his cheek, giving Aoi, Uruha and Reita high-fives as he went past.

The fans continued to clap and cheer at a job-well-done to the guys. Someone in the audience must have started a chant because soon there was 'Gazette, Gazette, Gazette' echoing through the hall. The girls also joined in with clapping and chanting. Mika being the kid she was known as was actually jumping while she clapped her hands above her head. Ai and Kira just looked at her seeing Megumi and Kikyo were too busy watching the band congratulate each other. Mariko and Yuki then got the girls attention while they waited for one of the guys to address the audience.

"Hey, wasn't this just the best concert yet? I almost wish it were going to be on DVD. But speaking of that ...", Mariko said while she kept clapping before glancing up at the cameramen, "But if it's not going to be on DVD then what's with all the camera guys? The photographers I understand, but why the video cameras?"

"Hmm I don't know, I was wondering that myself. I was watching them before during the break", Ai agreed as she quickly looked at the video cameras then back to Mariko, "My guess is they might be recording the concert just for progress-sake. So they can see how far they've come ... maybe?"

"Ah who knows, but again I still think they should have made a DVD. Now all we've got to remember this concert are memories", Yuki said as she grimaced at Mariko but kept clapping, then smiling brightly at Mika, "And you, you get some awesome memories of Ruki singing to you. That may even be on their footage so he'll always remember you~!"

"Ah, not I hope not, I look terrible in photos and on videos~! My hair probably looks like I've just rolled out of bed and tied my hair up~!" Mika half squealed as she gently touched her frizzed pigtails and then smiled, "But I definitely won't forget the singing part. If only could get a short video of that ..."

The other girls laughed at her before looking back up at the stage. Kai, Uruha, Aoi and Reita were in a little group hug but then pulled apart as Kai went over to Ruki. He was still sitting side-on to the audience on his platform, he eyes closed and he seemed to be listening to the fans ... like it was some kind of energy and he was feeding off of it. Kai touched Ruki's shoulder and the singer smiled up at him before scrambling up onto his platform and waving. The others stood around him - Kai and Aoi to his left, Uruha and Reita to his right. Ruki pushed one hand into the pocket of his black pants and held the mic to his mouth. The fans instantly quieted down.

"Ah ... ano ... it seems 'One night Stand' has come to an end. I only wish we could have given you more pleasure ..." Ruki said with a little smirk, adding a little joke to the title of the gig which made practically all of the females in the audience scream and call out his name, "Saa ... just having the fan-club only gig tonight ... it really felt like a full-on concert that everyone was invited too ... that just shows how much we've worn each other down ... but we'd do it all again".

The audience clapped together but then stopped when Ruki spoke up again.

"I guess the next time you see us around, it'll be during our 'Decomp' Tour around Japan ... I hope we can see every single one of you back and begging for more ..." Ruki pointed out over the crowd and attracted excited waves from them as he continued, "Arigatou ... for coming to see us tonight. We were a little late but we thankyou for believing in us ... Arigatou".

Ruki bowed his head as he stepped backwards off his platform and all of the guys held hands. Ruki shouted 'Se no~!' without his mic and the whole banded jumped into the air, while the fans copied them too. The guys broke apart and waved as they all walked off stage, blowing kisses as well. Kai however ran back to the edge of his platform and grabbed a small pile of his drumsticks to throw to the audience. As he ran back to the edge of the extended stage, he picked up one stick at a time, softly kissed it and then threw it out random spots in the crowd. After he threw about four pairs of sticks to the fans he bowed one last time and ran to catch up to the others as they walked off stage. Sadly Megumi didn't get one of his sticks but she didn't mind - seeing him smile was enough.
Seeing Ruki was the last one off stage, as one of the staff came running on to help clear the stage, Ruki grabbed his arm and whispered into his ear before point to Mika, Megumi, Kikyo, Kira and Ai still standing by their seats. The official nodded and then ran straight over to the girls, carefully jumping off the stage to greet them and gestured for them to lean close so he could speak quietly to them.

"Sumi masen, I have been asked by Ruki-san to escort the five of you backstage", he explained quietly, beckoning for them to follow through the railing, "You've all been invited to meet with the Gazette, but please keep quiet. Not everyone is invited by Gazette themselves".
