Show Me Love Again

Mike sat there looking at April's hand as it held tightly to his. She still wasn't a wake but she could hear what Mike was saying.
Trish gasped in a happy sound that she could hear what they were saying.
"Should I go get doctor?" Asked Trish.
"Ummm..I guess. I don't know. I would call Chester and the guys but I just sent them to the hotel to get some sleep since they were up
until 8:00am this morning." Said Mike.
"Well, I'll go get the doctor and then we can decide if we should call Chester and the guys." Said Trish.
Mike nodded then Trish walked out of the room to find the doctor. Mike looked at April and smiled. He squezzed her hand gently as she
held onto his. Tears formed in his eyes looking at her.
"I'm so happy you heard me! Then maybe you'll wake up soon and we can get you out of here and I can...take care of you, protect you,
and show you love like a girl should be shown." Said Mike as he moved April's hand up and kissed it.
The door was pushed open and the doctor walked in along with Trish. She had a big smile on her face.
"You said you felt her squeeze your hand?" Asked the doctor.
"Yes, sir I did. She's still holding onto my hand." Said Mike as he held up his hand.
"Well, she might be a wake soon since she can hear you talking. She'll be home sooner than exspected." Said the doctor.
"Really?" Said Trish.
The doctor nodded 'yes' to Trish then looked over to Mike.
"Something you said must have woken her, I guess." Said the doctor with a slight smile.
Mike smiled back at the doctor then asked "When should she wake up?"
"Umm...she should sometime soon since she heard you talking and squeezed your hand. Maybe tomorrow if we're lucky. You see when she
had her 'incedent' she hit her head on something or her attacker really hit her hard and she also had some blood loss with the wounds she
has. You might want to watch her after she wakes up for any fainting, dizzyness." Said the doctor.
"Ok thanks doctor." Said Mike.
The doctor walked out of the room letting the door slowly creap close. Trish smiled happily with the news they both heard. April would
possibly be a wake tomorrow. She prayed that April would be.
"I wounder if I should call and tell Chester, April will possibly be a wake tomorrow even thought he hasn't got much rest since we came
here and the attack last night." Said Mike.
"Maybe you could just leave a message on the answering machine then when he gets up he'll hear it." Said Trish.
"Yeah, I guess I could do that." Said Mike.
Mike got out April's phone and dialed the number to the hotel answering machine. It rang four times when the machine picked up and said
"The party you are currently calling is unavable at the time. Please leave a message with you name and number. Thank you." Then there
was a beep.
"Hey Chester, I was just calling to tell you April might possilby be a wake tomorrow. She suqeezed my hand. April's best friend, Trish is
here also. I called her and told her what happened. So when you or one of the guys wake up, you can come down and see her. Well, talk
to you later. Bye." Said Mike.
Then he turned off the cell phone and placed it on the table and let out a sigh looking over at April.
"I still don't know much about this guy who attacked her like her past in high school with him. She's never told me that." Said Mike.
"Well, when she was in high school she was sexually harassed by the guy." Replied Trish.
"Oh? how?" Asked Mike.
"He grabbed her breast and said some very sick things to her like something about he was just a horny boy or some sick shit. She told the
school but the school did nothing. So she told Chester. Their parents still don't know about it. She's been kinda distant from guys. Well,
until her boyfriend but I think they we're going to break up since he was always a jerk to her." Said Trish.
"Oh..uhh wow. I can't believe she went through all that. That guy is a asshole...he needs to be killed or put away. I'm glad you told me so
I can watch her and protect her from this jerk. I don't ever want to see her like this again! Ever." Said Mike.
He removed his hand from April's hand and placed it on her cheek gentally stroking her it. It was smooth, warm and soft. There was
some burses from where her attacker had hit her in the face or where she hit her face if she'd fell and a big cut with stiches holding
together the skin that was cut open. There was a brief period of silence before April's cell phone began to ring. Mike picked it up and
turned it on and placed it to his ear.
"Hello?" Asked Mike.
"So this is the guy who saved April before I tried to kill her. Heh heh.aid aid the person.
Mike's face got a angry look as he listened to the person.
"What the hell do you want you sick bastard!?" Shouted Mike.
"I'm just warning you to watch your back and April's, that is if you can. I will get you and her!" Hissed the person.
Then there was a dial tone. Mike let out a slight growl hearing that the person hung up.
"Who was it?" Asked Trish.
"It was the freak who did this to April...he said I need to watch my back and April's. Now he's out for me and her. Well, I'm not going to
let him fucking hurt me or April or any of my band members! This fuck isn't gonna hurt her anymore!" Said Mike.
As Mike was talking the cell phone rang again. Mike turned the phone back on and put to his ear, ready for it to be Ron again.
"What the fuck do you want? You've already told me I need to watch my back and April's!" Shouted Mike annoiyed.
"Mike? What the hell are you talking about? This is Chester. April's brother. You ok?" Said Chester.
"Huh? Oh shit Chester I'm sorry. That freak who attacked April got her cell phone number and called me telling me that I need to watch my back and
April's because he'll be after us." Said Mike.
"Oh. Great. So what's up now?" Asked Chester.
"Well, besides for that werido calling me. April will possilby be a wake tomorrow. Her best friend, Trish is here and I'm sitting here with April watching
her." Said Mike.
"She might wake up tomorrow? I'll be right down there.! I wanna be there when she wakes." Chester paused when Mike said Trish was there. "So Trish is
there? That girl is crazy! I'm gonna have to come and see her also!"
"All right. We'll be here waiting for you. The guys coming?" Asked Mike.
"Hold on I'll ask if the want to." Said Chester.
Mike could hear Chester ask if the guys wanted to come also to see April when she wakes up. Theres was some 'yes' along with some cheering.
"Yeah the guys are coming also. We'll be there in a few. Later Mike." Said Chester.
"Ok see you then!" Said Mike.
Mike heard Chester hang up the phone as he pulled the phone away from his ear and turned the cell phone off.
"Chester and the guy are coming." Said Mike.
Trish smiled and said "Great."
Trish hadn't seen Chester in a few years since she lived so far away and college made it hard to come and visit April and Chester but today she would get
to see him. It was going tobe crazy since they always played around and joked. She got a chair and sat down happily waiting for Chester and the rest of
the band to arrive.
