The Saviour
Chapter 11-The Saviour
I felt his erection pressing against the small of my back and I pushed backwards, wanting his hard body against mine. My flesh flared with desire whenever his made contact with mine.
Deep into my ear he moaned and I felt his heartbeat at my back, reaching behind me I gripped his buttocks with both hands and urged him in. He took my cock into his hand, stroking it, roughly at first and then slowly became more tender, more gentle.
I felt his lips trail around my neck and up to my ear. "Stuart" I moaned softly, as his hold on my cock became tighter, almost ferocious.
I wanted to be penetrated by him and pinned to the bed by him, so that I was the helpless prisoner and he my captor. Desperately I urged his hardness even further into me, gasping at the size.
We moved slowly and deliberately at first, Stuart withdrawing from me until only the tip of his cock remained, then he would plunge deeper into the vacuum he had just left. I moaned and sighed with each stroke. His plunges became faster and I could no longer prolong the agony; there would be time later for more leisurely lovemaking. I gripped him hard and pushed backward so that his thrusts would be deeper until we were both close, so close.
We cried out as our bodies shuddered in unison and then lay there entangled in each other's bodies. Neither of us wanting to break contact with the other. Wanting to remain together as one.
"Well you can't pay for entertainment like that," Stuart said after a while.
"Sometimes Stuart, you're such an ass," I murmured sleepily
"Speaking of ass'." His hand gently stroked my left buttock.
"You can't want to? I'm shattered."
"What? It's your weekend off? I've had four clients and I'm still up for it!"
"You always 'up' for it." I turned to face him so that he lay on top of me.
He smiled and used his thumb to trace the shape of my lips, bringing his head down for a long lingering kiss.
"My God! You really are up for it!" I exclaimed feeling his hardness pressing painfully against my stomach. He chuckled and rolled lazily off me.
"I 'd better get some sleep. I have another client in the morning." He yawned and hurriedly dressed.
"Me too, I have a meeting with Paul."
"Your contract?" He turned to me his eyes wide. "You're signing right? I know you. You might have a change of heart because you don't like the colour of the pen he gives you."
"I'm not 'that' fussy." I smiled at him "Anyway we've discussed this. Here to stay remember?"
He pulled me close and kissed me again "I love you Darren. I never said it right last night, but I do."
I stared at him shock. "I love you to." He smiled and stood up to leave.
"Thank you." I called. He stopped and looked puzzled. "For being there for me, for being..." I remembered Dr Lewis' words. "For being my saviour."
His face broke into a broad grin "Sometimes Darren you're such an ass."
Smiling, he left me alone.
*~*~*
"Darren! Please take a seat." Paul gestured to the front of his desk and I sat down. "You know what this is right?" He held up a bundle of papers.
"My contract?" He nodded to affirm I was correct.
"And have you thought about it? Staying here?"
"Over the past few days it's all I've thought of." I answered honestly.
"Well looking at statistics you've gave a service to proud of. At least several clients have sung your praises to me." He saw my wince and added "Sorry I didn't mean to make you sound like a car."
"It's okay really. I've thought about and think that I have what it takes to stay."
"And are you sure that's what you want? You're not going to change your mind at a later date?"
"Like Dr Lewis you mean?" A dark cloud seemed to pass over his face.
"I'm not asking Dr Lewis I'm asking you." His voice was low and had a dangerous quality. It was hard to believe this was the same Paul I had begun the meeting with.
"Well then my answer is yes, I have many reasons why I'd like to stay." My voice was low; wary of Paul's heated gaze. I thought of Stuart "Many reasons." I added quietly.
"Brilliant!" He exclaimed his manner changing as if the incident had never happened. "Here, here just sign the dotted line." He shoved the papers towards me.
I signed.
'Darren Stanley Hayes.'
*~*~*
On my way to Elijah's room I thought over Paul's last words to me
"Visit the poor boy, his really withdrawn into himself these last couple of weeks. Have you two had a fallen out?"
"Not really." I answered "Just being busy. That's all" Paul had given me a disapproving look
"You always should have time for your friends."
And so here I was outside his door. Nervous as hell I rose my hand to knock.
"And where is your better-half?" I whirled to face Josh.
"Huh?" I muttered, confused.
"Not planning another lovers tryst are you?" He took a menacing step towards me.
"I don't know what you are talking about." I blurted out, nervous of how close he was to me.
"Oh don't insult me. I saw you Darren! You and Stuart! I saw you come back through the gate." He laughed and moved closer his face inches from mine. "You both think you're a cut above the rest of us don't you? Thought you could get away with it. No I'm not going to let you do that. It's not fair on Elijah or Paul the way you abused their trust." He turned to go and I grabbed him back.
"Look it's not what it looks like. I'd never been to town I asked Stuart to show me! That's all!"
"I see, and you take that amount of luggage with you everywhere?" He snorted as he saw my face fell.
"What do you want?" I whispered. He trailed his index finger down my chest and chuckled as my eyes widened.
"I don't want anything you could give me Darren."
"Are you sure? If you wanted I could."
"Don't you ever stop? I don't want you, your money, your friendship or anything else you're willing to offer me. I want to do what's right for the people who deserve it. You're not trust-worthy Darren. Paul needs to know. He looks down on relationship's in the work place." He sneered and took a large step back.
"Look you're painting it all wrong. Stuart and me are more then friends, yes, but we would never betray Paul. Don't punish us for caring for each other."
I froze as I saw his eyes focus on something behind me.
"Well good morning Elijah." Josh said, cheerily
Mortified I turned round to face Elijah's wide eyes. "Oh God Elijah."
"You and Stuart? All this time?" He spoke each word slowly as if taken it in.
"No it happened only recently we never meant to hurt you. It just..."
"You were laughing at me weren't you? All this time I've been blaming myself for destroying our friendship, thinking you knew right, you knew what was best. But you were with 'him'. All this time." He repeated, seemingly awe-struck
"Elijah!" I began but he pushed past me and headed towards Stuart's room.
I turned to Josh who was leaning casually on the banister. He rose his eyebrows as if to say 'Not my problem' and smiled slowly. Grunting I charged after Elijah who was hammering on Stuart's door.
"Get out you bastard, get out!" He sobbed. I tried to restrain him but he shook me off.
"What the fuck? I'm trying to sleep." A very dishevelled Stuart said after answering the door.
"You bastard, you screwed me over big time didn't you?" Elijah's loud voice had drawn the attention of Brian, Orlando and Heath who all left their rooms to witness the commotion.
"What? What the hell you talking about?" He saw me and his face changed in realisation "Ah...you know."
"You couldn't hide it from me for long you know!"
"Contrary to popular belief the world doesn't revolve around you. What I do and whom I do it with is my private business. Are we done?" He turned to go but Elijah eased his way around him, forcing him out of the doorway.
"He doesn't care about you Darren, you realise that right? You're just convenient to something better comes along. Like I was. " He continued to walk towards Stuart his eyes never leaving his.
"Elijah don't do this!" I pleaded and tried to take a step towards him but Orlando held me back.
"You're wrong Elijah. I love him." Stuart said simply, shrugging.
Elijah's face twisted from its usually beautiful expression into an ugly grimace.
"Love? You love him? You never once said that to me." His voice was low and so full of sadness my heart felt as if it would burst.
"That's because I never loved you Elijah, I liked you yes. You were...what's that word?" He thought for a moment "Ah yes 'convenient'" He added cruelly
"Stuart that's enough!" Heath demanded, while Elijah gripped his head as if he were in great pain.
"What did I do?" He turned and looked at us each in turn, his wide blue eyes shone with tears. He lingered on me.
"Elijah I care for you greatly, I would never hurt you." I said my voice completely miserable.
"Seems like it." Josh spoke up.
"Shut up." Brian demanded whirling on him "All of you shut up!"
"What did I do." Elijah asked again in a pitiful whine, reminiscent of a dying fawn.
"It's not what you did, it's just you didn't do it well enough." Stuart sneered.
Elijah roared and ran at him.
That moment seemed last a lifetime Elijah's run, Stuart's startled step backward, Orlando trying restrain me.
And then they collided. Stuart and Elijah. They hit the banister with such force that Elijah lost his balance and grabbed Stuart for support. But Stuart had also lost his balance and could offer none to him.
They toppled out of our sight. Elijah's scream deafening and from Stuart a muted "Oh"
Removing Orlando's hands I moved away from the stunned boy's and peered over the edge.
Elijah's lay on his stomach his legs tangled beneath him, his left one kicking apparently of it's own accord. His cries for help were weak.
Stuart had landed on his back. Blood poured from under his skull like a crimson river. His dark eyes where the moonlight once danced shone up at me. Glassy. Empty.
My saviour was dead.
Next Instalment- Darren's Despair.
