5 years later....AHH! WHO IS THAT PERSON?
Chapter 11
-5 years later-
*Joel
Carson and me are still together. Yes I know five years is a long time. We have been married for 2 years now, and Carson is pregnant 5 months. Yes, don’t worry it is my fault. We have a home in the same town, and we already have one daughter, we named her Shadow. We are over at my moms house right now, with Shadow, my mom is so happy that she has a granddaughter. I hear a knock on the door, I answer the door, and it…is Benji?
” Benji? “ I ask
” Yah, hey Joel.” He said, and gives me a hug. I let him in.
” Hey, Benji, I want you to meet someone before you say anything, her name is Shadow, and she is beautiful.” I say. I am not sure if he is still gay, but I still want him to meet his niece.
”Ok” he said.
” Close your eyes” I say, and he closes them. I get shadow, and Carson, and she smiles seeing Benji, I told her to be quiet. I put Shadow on his shoulder, and when he has a hole of her, I let her go. He opens his eyes, and smiles. Then he sees Carson, and how huge she got.
” Wow, Carson…your pregnant right?” he asks, and she hits him.
” Yes, I am.” She says, “ This is Shadow, she’s going to be one in two days. It’s a good thing she gets to meet her uncle, Uncle Benji.” She says.
” Aw, Shadow that is so cute.” He says, and is looking at her. Carson takes Shadow and puts her back into her crib.
” Where have you been? You look terrible!” I said. He really did look terrible, it looks like he hasn’t washed his hair for a little while.
” Out to straighten my head up.” He said. Carson hugs Benji.
” Where is mom?” Benji asks.
” Out, I don’t know, I think she went with Kathy to buy something for Shadow. Lets go to my house, and get you cleaned up.” I say. I give Carson a kiss, and say
” Babe, I’m going to get Benji a shower, and some clothes so he will look good, ok? So I will be back soon.”
” Ok, love you, bye” she says.
” Love you.” I say and Benji and I leave. In the car, I tell him that I have been married for 2 years, and life, and then I tell him that I am glad that he came back today.
” Why today?” he asks. I get tears in my eyes and say,
” Because… today is the day that Billy… well died. We have been going to his grave every year, and I always wanted for you to come back, and you came back today.”
” Oh, I didn’t know it was today.” He said, and looked down. We arrive at my house, and I let him take a shower, and change into some of my clothes, then we go back to the house. Mom is there, cause I went in first.
” Hey, mom, check outside in the car, I found something that you will love!” I say.
” Ok, I guess…but what could it possibly be?” she said.
” You will see.” I say, and we walk outside, and Benji is sitting inside the car, and mom just goes running to him. We have a big dinner, and then go to Billy’s grave. I let Benji go up by himself for a long time, then go up to him, and put my hand on his shoulder, and say,
” Billy loved you a lot. We all loved him, but he loved you the most, you can tell by the way he looked at you.” He gives me a hug, and he is crying on my shoulder. We leave the grave, and put flowers for Billy.
- 2 months later-
Carson has twins… named Marlin, and Martin, two boy twins. Benji is living with Carson, Shadow, Marlin, Martin, and me. All of our friends know he is back now, and he visits Billy all the time. He hasn’t came back crying for a while, so he must be happy to see Billy. Everything is going great now. Benji has a new boyfriend. His name is Quinn; he was Carson’s sister’s best friend.
[Ok…story is OVER! Ha, tell me hoe you like it. I like it, OH NO! BILLY DIED! Boo ho. Oh well… I can get over it, can you?]
