Fools Rush In
Nikki cringed as soon as stepped inside of her hotel room. She heard her aunt ask “Where have you been, when I told Lily that I wanted you back by three at the latest?” Her aunt was sitting on her bed, looking more then a little pissed.
Nikki replied “I’m so sorry, but I lost track of the time.” She added “I and Zac got caught up talking about Broadway musicals, as well as what is expected of you in Hollywood.”
She went on quickly seeing as her words weren’t having any effect upon her currently stoic looking aunt. “Stace and Katie wanted to meet Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabreel.”
She pleaded “Please, we were all so excited at meeting Zac and the other two, that we lost track of the time. Then eventually we fell to sleep without really realising or meaning to. I swear, it wasn’t done deliberately.”
Her aunt narrowed her eyes and asked “When you say you fell to sleep, did you just sleep, or did you do something else I’d rather not think about happening?”
Nikki instantly knew what her aunt was not so subtly trying to imply. She wanted to know whether Nikki had slept with Zac. She of course wasn’t speaking of the kind of sleeping we all closed ours eyes to do, either.
Nikki flushed and exclaimed “Of course not. I only just met the guy not even twenty hours previously. Plus I’ve never been with anyone like that before. I’m only seventeen.”
She added “Besides, Zac has only just gotten out of relationship with one of his co-stars. The break up was pretty nasty to say the least. It’s all over the internet, TV, magazines and news papers.”
Nikki added at her aunt’s raised brow in silent questioning. “His now ex-girl friend, Vanessa, she cheated on him with a guy who took nude pictures of her. And the guy then took those nude pictures and posted them all over the internet.” She concluded “The media has been having a field day.”
Nikki watched as her aunt silently studied her. Nikki had never been so relieved to have been wearing a turtleneck sweater. It served the purpose of covering up the currently livid looking love bites, which littered Nikki’s pale neck.
Zac had more then gotten a little carried away. He had really gone and done one hell of a number on her neck, after discovering she was extremely sensitive there. Meaning he had been able to draw out moans and whimpers from her. This spurred him on to concentrate a lot on that area.
Her aunt studied her for a moment longer before she nodded and said “Very well, I believe you. Only because I know you’re a good girl, who usually does as she is told. You’ve never disobeyed me or your parents in the past, which is why I am going to cut you some slack and not tell you parents, your father especially.”
Nikki beamed in relief, as she walked over to her aunt and hugged her. She exclaimed, “Thank you, I owe you one. You’re the best aunt ever, I swear.” She added “Thanks for not telling dad. That’s a situation and conversation I’m more then happy to avoid.”
Her aunt hugged her back and let out a weak chuckle before commenting wearily “Indeed, me and you both. That is definitely a situation I could do without myself. The little my brother knows the happier and quieter life will be.”
She and Nikki changed a knowing laughed before pulling away from their affectionate embrace.
