This is a work of fiction. I do not know Alan Rickman. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Chapter 12
Chapter 12
I stood there not knowing what to do, laughing would probably not sound very convincing as I didn’t trust my voice very much.
“You are insane.” Alan sounded a little weak as he tried sitting up right while forcing a smile to his face.
“What? You’re telling me I’m wrong?! Come of it. I know sex when I smell it. And right now, I’m not only smelling it, I’m seeing it too!”
“Gary, you would smell sex in a convent.”
Gary turned to me and with an evil sort of smile he said “ So no then?”
I was a terrible liar. But of course we technically hadn’t had sex so it wasn’t a lie. “No,” I said weak. He smirked.
“You would like to wouldn’t you?”
I flushed bright red and hated myself. Could it be any more obvious?
“Well, good we cleared that up then, I’m off, I’ve got an other shoot in half an hour. I just wanted to see you’re ok. But your in good hands of course.” He smiled at me. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes.
Gary walked to the door and I pushed it open for him, the sooner he left the better.
He walked out the door and turned round. “Kate, you will send me a card when the baby is born?” He laughed out loud.
“Bastard.” I muttered at the closing door.
I turned to Alan, his eyes were closed and a deep line was above his brow.
“I’m so sorry, d’you think he going to tell anyone? Shit, you think we’re in trouble now? Are you angry?”
“I’m not angry,” he spoke faintly and I realised he was in pain.
I walked towards him and touched his forehead. He opened his eyes and looked at me.
“Will you stay a little longer?”
“Of course,” I whispered, “where is the pain?”
“My head, “ he groaned. I touched his face now, softly stroking his chin.
“You’re hands are cold.”
“Sorry,” I pulled back.
“No, it feels nice.”
I smiled a little and continued. He leaned his head against my hand.
“Do you think he was serious? You know with Gary thinking we.... shagged?”
He opened his eyes again and shrugged, “I hope he was just trying to get you going. If not….well that’s more my problem isn’t it?”
I said nothing. My finger followed his jaw, the tiny stubbles tickled. I traced his lips. His hand on the bed could easily touch my hip and when he did goose bumps spread out on my skin. His fingers, barely noticeable, caressed my skin. I sighed and swallowed. My head went dizzy. We sat like this for a long time, not speaking. Just our hands exploring.
His breath was getting faster.
Our eyes met at the same time.
He looked hurt, but it was not the pain that he felt from his injuries.
“What are we doing?” my voice was hoarse
“Do it Kate,” his hand disappeared under my shirt.
“Are you sure?”
“No, but do it.”
My knees were weakening, not seeing clear. I dipped my head but didn’t close my eyes. I locked his gaze in mine. He was breathing fast and I felt the warmth on my face as I came closer. My hand lowered from his face to his neck, and chest.
I felt his heart, beating fast.
I finally closed my eyes and a magical feeling spread through my body as our lips touched. Careful, like we were scared to break something. The tip of his tongue entered my mouth. His hand went up my spine. His fingers spread on my back. Hungry I returned his kiss. My tongue found his. A soft moan came from beneath me. Panting I broke the kiss.
“Are you sure Alan?”
He was still breathing very fast, I could nearly hear his heart beat.
“No..”
“Then I guess I should go…”
“Yes.” He didn’t let go of me.
“Alan, you’ve got to let go.”
“I know. Will you be back tomorrow?”
“Yes, I’ll leave you my phone number. Just in case.” He let go, and I scribbled my number on a piece of paper. My hand was shaking, and I felt like I moved without thinking. I looked at him, and sighed.
“Call her, Alan. She should know that you’re here.”
He nodded silently, and I got up. My legs felt like jelly. I smiled at him and he sort of winked and I saw him swallowing.
I shut the door behind me. And left my number at the reception’s desk as well, telling them that they should call me if anything happened.
I found my car on the parking lot, inside it was ice cold. I turned the engine on and let it run for a while, to get it warm. I knew it would only get warm once I had started driving, but I couldn’t drive in the state I was in. I knew it was all lost when I had kissed him again. There was no turning back. I wanted this man, and I wanted him bad. I knew it was going to be painful, it was unclear now for whom exactly it was going to be painful. But some people were going to get hurt. But it was too late, I couldn’t pull back now. I was involved now. My feelings counted too.
The darkness and the sheets were around me. I felt like I was flying high above the clouds. I was heading towards the sun. But all of a sudden there was a face. A cloud that looked like a face, no it really was a face, and a body now. It was Alan, he out stretched his hands to me and I grabbed them. He was smiling, and softly pulled me close. It was a dream, but it felt so real. His touch, his smell, his eyes. I melted into his eyes. His hands were on my face, his beautiful hands, his lips were caressing my skin. I wanted to kiss him back, but I couldn’t. “Pick up the phone first,” he said. I looked at him wondering what he was talking about, when the ringing of the phone penetrated in my ear.
I set up in bed, the dream wasn’t real but the phone was ringing for real. I reached for it on my night stand.
“Oui?” My voice probably sounded like I was in a coma.
“Kate? It’s me.” It was Alan.
“Alan? Are you ok? What happened?”
“I’m fine, I just wanted to say goodnight to you. But you were already sleeping weren’t you?”
“Kinda, “ I yawned.
“I thought you should know, that I called her.” I knew immediately who he was talking about.
“Good, I guess,” I said suddenly really awake.
“She’s coming tomorrow. I thought you should know.”

Thanks everybody who has been reading and reviewing! I've been playing a lot lately with the way this story goes, there are some different turns going on in my mind, I'm not sure yet which way it's going. I'm a bit anxious to use too much of "She-who-must-not-be-named" I don't think it's fair. But anyway, it is very much reality. Tell me what you think, I highly apreciate your opinions! Thanks all SWARF members, and of course Marlina for always reading my story! Gem, I am a bit proud of turning you around, hope you still like it! And Sunflower, I will always trie and make your day!
