night time talks

Kelly's pov





Kelly placed her hand on the bottom of her brother back as they walked along the long corridor towards Ashley's room. She knew he was nervous, Ashley had told her all about what happened between them and Jason could be walking into a bad atmosphere. Ashley didn't have to let him see the baby but Kelly knew in her heart all Jason wanted to do was be a dad. He knew what it was like to be part from a parent growing up, he didn't want that for his child.



'Do you want Carrie and I to wait here...' They all stood outside Ashley's private room.



'Actually could you maybe go in first....just to see if it's ok.....' Jason moved till he as behind Carrie.



'I'll wait here with him....' Kelly nodded to Carrie before making her way inside the room. Ashley was asleep, the baby laying in her arms. Kelly was sure she saw a smiled on the babies face as she approached the bed.



'hey baby boy....'Kelly wasn't sure where the baby voice she was using was coming from.



'Please don't talk to my son like he's an idiot...' Ashley moved so she was sitting up a little more.



'But he's a baby....'



'Yes....but your not so talk normal...or he'll grow up thinking that's your real voice....' Kelly sat on the bed with her eyes cast downwards. 'And don't sulk either.....Where's the wife?..... Kelly looked up at her best friend with a guilty look on her face. ' Oh please don't tell me she's sulking too.....i was in labor I have the right to shout if I want......'



'Jason's here....' Kelly could see Ashley's face pale. 'He's outside the door with Carrie....'



'You called him....'



'Carrie did....she knows...'



'You told her....'Ashley complained.



'She saw his mouth...' Both girls looked down at the baby.



'Yea I noticed that too.....Is he mad?...' Kelly shook her head.



'More scared that your mad.......'



'Is he happy?...'



'I think so...' Kelly smiled. ' he's been holding a picture of him in his hand since he got to my house....'



'Does he want to come in....'



'Yea...but I want it to stay like this for a few more minutes.....' Kelly held out her arms as Ashley placed the baby into them.





Carrie's pov.





She was really trying, trying her hardest not to ask. It wasn't her business, if Ashley and Jason wanted her to know they would have told her. But Carrie was nosy and really did want to know.



'So...one night stand?...'Jason turned.



'That a question...cause your married to my sister....'



'I meant with Ashley.....'



'Sure you can if you want...but she's just had a baby...so you might want to leave it a few weeks...' Carrie held her hands up.



'Ok..ok...I'll just ask Ashley...she'll give better details anyway...' Carrie counted to three in her head.



'No...it wasn't......'



'A fling?...' Carrie quizzed. Jason shook his head.



Love?' Carrie tried again. She watched as her brother in law nodded his head. 'Still?' He nodded again.' just you or her too...'



That's what I don't know.....She hasn't talked to me in months....'



'What Happened...........'Carrie turned hearing the room door open.



'She's ready for you......'Kelly smiled as Jason stood up.



'Wish me luck.....'



Carrie watched as Jason disappeared into the room and Kelly took his seat.



'She going to rip him a new one?....'



'I think she's happy he's here....And she's sorry for shouting at you......'



'Tell her not to worry....i'll get her back when im in labor......'Carrie closed her eyes, she could feel Kelly's brain working over time.



'You..you think about that?...having kids I mean...'



'Yea...' Carrie looked down at her hands. 'I hope one day we can have them.....'





Kelly's pov





Kelly almost jumped out of the seat in joy when she heard Carrie say we, she was talking about their future something Kelly wasn't sure they had.



'And you would be carrying it?....'



Her...'Carrie corrected. ' i'd like a girl...'



'Sounds nice...'Kelly smiled.



You've never thought about it?...' Kelly looked at her wife as the blond sat looking at her hands.



'I have.....i just didn't think it would happen...'



'Why?...' Carrie looked up.



'Cause we're both woman....i guess I just thought we would be happy with the dogs....' Carrie burst out laughing.



'Your saying babies and dogs are alike....'



I'm just....' Both singers looked up to see Jason coming crashing out of the room. ' what did you do...'Kelly asked accusingly.



'What?..no...... breast feeding... ' Kelly stood shaking her head as she walked back into Ashley's room.



'So you've had sex with her but never seen her breasts?.... Carrie asked.' what the hell do you do in bed?...'



'She's feeding my son..it just feels wrong...' Carrie nodded.



'What's even more wrong is my wife running in the minute she hears the word breast...' Carrie laughed as she watched Jason shake his head in disgust.





Kelly pov.





'I knew you would be in here...'Ashley laughed. ' the mention of the word breast...'



'I wanted to make sure you were ok....' Kelly said annoyed.



'Im fine....he was good...held him....' Kelly smiled.



'And how were you.....' Kelly asked gently.



'I...it was ok..strange seeing him again...but it felt right he was here...Carrie did good.'



'Yea..' Kelly agreed. 'What about how feel about him?'



'it's still the same...'Ashley sighed. ' I still love him....Even more now ive seen him hold our son...'





Carrie's pov.





'So?....' Carrie nudged her brother in laws arm.



'He's amazing....' Jason smiled. 'Looks like Kelly did......'



'Hamster cheeks?......' Carrie giggled.



'Yea..but lets not tell her that.....'



'Jas.....' Carrie grew serious. ' If I tell you something you promise to keep it to yourself?...'Carrie bit her bottom lip as she waited for his reply.



'Does...it involve my sister?'



'Yes....'



'Go on.....' Jason turned in his seat.



'A few months ago I started chatting in chat room and I met this woman.....She was amazing, everything I was telling her she would understand, relate to....Well I felt myself falling for her.....Kelly and I haven't been doing so good...'



'I know....' Jason interrupted. 'Kelly told me...'



'Well last night I was on her laptop and found files.....turns out the woman Ive been talking to is.....'



'Kelly.....' Jason whispered.



'Yea....'Jason let out a loud laugh.



'You fell in love with your own wife on line?....'



'Yes...'Carrie let out a frustrated groan...' and I don't know what to do...'



'Delete it......stop chatting and forget about it.......'



'I chatted to her this morning......'



'Well that was stupid.......don't carry on the lie.....just stop talking 'to her and never mention it to any one....'



'I feel like im lying to her...'



'Well telling her the truth wont get you any favors......im guessing she opened up to you on line....you tell her it was you then she will think your spying on her...she'll never trust you again...' Jason stood. 'Im going to get some air...think about...' Carrie watched as Jason disappeared round the corner. She knew he was right, she knew Kelly would fell hurt and betrayed. Her wife would never trust her again, it would be the end of their marriage for sure.
