The Perfect Guy
Chapter 13
He stared at the ceiling of his bedroom as his mind raced. He had no idea what he was doing. He had just spent an incredible night with an incredible girl. At any other time in his life he would be jumping with excitement that he had found someone like this, someone like her. He curled up on his side and watched the rain splatter on the window. Tonight was so great, so normal. He was just a normal guy and she was just a girl and they had a typical date night. He grinned into the night. He had really never met a girl that was just as comfortable chilling on a stormy night as she was running around backstage getting ready for a show. His heart ached again. She was so perfect and he sighed to himself, all he ever needed and wanted. He rolled back onto his back again and pulled at his hair. She was down the hall sleeping in god knows what or maybe nothing at all. He felt his middle pulse as he remembered her naked beneath him. He shifted again. He had to stop this, he had to get that out of his mind. He rolled over and punched at his pillow. God he had never wanted anyone this much in his life. He kept finding excuses to touch her, to just be near her. She didn’t seem to mind but he wondered if it ever made her uncomfortable. She kept coming around so he guessed that she didn’t mind too much. Her smell, god, she smelled so damn good. He remembered her snuggling into him when she got scared at the movie. Her hair smelled like oranges and so did she. Thunder clapped over head again and he wondered if he should go check on her. He actually got up and crossed the room before he stopped himself. He shouldn’t do this. He shouldn’t put her in this situation. It was hard enough on her and he was just making it worse. He needed to just be content with her in his life at the moment and not do anything to push her away. Her life must be complicated enough with out him adding to it. He went back over to the bed and laid down. He wasn’t sure he would ever sleep but eventually the sound of the soft rain on the windows lulled him into sleep.
