A/N: Omg an update! After how long? I don't want to know lol but now that its the holidays I'm going to attempt to catch up a little on some of my stories...this one was first in line! Hope you like it ^-^
Amanda continued her silence after what William had said. He then started to lean in closer to her. His eyes drifted shut. Should she allow him to kiss her in his drunken state? Amanda knew she had to think fast, however, her mind was quickly made for her by William falling off of his stool. He had passed out from all the alcohol he’d consumed.
Amanda tried to suppress her laughter as she struggled to lift William to his feet. She couldn’t help but to notice the comedy in the fall. Like the sort of thing you would see on America’s Funniest Home Videos. Amanda slung one of his arms around her shoulders as she guided him towards the door where Sisky was waiting.
“Shit, what happened to him?” Sisky asked as she came through the door.
“He passed out. Help me get him into the back seat.”
It wasn’t easy getting William into the back seat. His long legs seemed to give them the most trouble. Eventually he was situated lying down. Amanda insisted on sitting with him, just to be sure he was alright as Sisky drove. William’s head lay in Amanda’s lap as she lazily stroked her fingers through his messy, but soft, hair. Even in his unconscious state, Amanda could feel him tilting his head to lean into her touch. The corners of her mouth turned up slightly in a small smile.

Once back at the house, Amanda and Sisky lugged William up to his bedroom. Thankfully, he was partially conscious so it took some of the weight off of them. As they lifted him up onto his bed he turned his head towards Amanda.
“You’re the only one I want.” his eyes pierced hers as he whispered, “no one else…please believe me.” he added as his eyes fell closed and his head went limp against his pillow. A soft snoring soon followed. Amanda stroked his hair gently before pulling a blanket up over him.

Later that night…
William’s eyes strained open. He sat up, but soon found himself lying back down after all the blood rushed from his head.
“Okay, slowly this time.” William coaxed himself as he tried again. Being more successful this time, he reached into his pocket to retrieve his cell phone and checked the time; 1:34am. He’d been out for the whole day. He yawed and could still smell alcohol on his breath. He scrunched up his nose at the terrible smell as he wondered to his private bathroom. He did a quick brush, gargle and rinse.
“Much better.” He sighed to himself. He then raised an arm and gave a small sniff to his clothes. He immediately recoiled, it smelt of smoke from the bar. William began pulling his shirt off as he went down the hallway headed for the laundry room. His shirt got stuck on his head and in the short moment of blindness he stubbed his toe on a door frame and fell forward.
“Ow! Fuck!” William cursed as he fell. He heard a gasp come from somewhere in the room and then he heard light footsteps coming toward him.
“Oh my god are you alright?” Amanda asked as she quickly knelt down by William to help him get detangled from his shirt. He had literally fallen right into her bedroom.
“Yeah.” William sighed, “I was just trying to get my clothes to the laundry room.” His head popped out from the shirt, “They smell like smoke. But then I stubbed my toe on the wall and, well…”
Amanda sighed, “Well it’s a good thing you didn’t fall down the stairs. What were you thinking trying to undress as you walked, in the dark, after sleeping for hours, from getting drunk?”
“I was thinking I wanna get out of these smelly ass clothes.” He laughed.
Amanda smiled, “Ok well, how about I walk you to the laundry room this time, just to be safe?”
William tossed everything but his boxers into the wash pile. They both went back to his room. William got into his bed as Amanda stood at his feet. There was a silent moment as they just stared at each other. Then Amanda sighed and walked around to the other side of the bed. She pulled open the covers and tucked herself inside. She snuggled up to William placing her head on his shoulder and her hand on his chest. William smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. Without any other words said, they fell asleep.
