Chapter 13 - They call this my so-called...

Chapter 13: They call this my so-called life…I Call it Hell.

****And Faith Hardy goes for the pin! Oh a low blow to Chris Jericho as he tries to interfere…. ****

*BEEP…BEEP…BEEP…BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! *

Damned Cell phones. Good dream though, beating on Stephanie and Irvine.

“Hello?”

“Faith? Mark.”

“Hey Mark”

“Go over to Glenn’s hotel room. I’ll meet you there in 15 minutes.”

“On the way.”

He hung up and I sat up. Not a good idea. Need a shower. About as good as caffeine. No one else was here, seeing as it was about one in the afternoon. ‘Damn, slept a while didn’t I?’ I hobbled over to get a shower, making sure to keep my cast dry. ‘Damn I needed that.’ Dressing for comfort I grabbed a key to the room and walked to the elevator to head for Glenn’s room.

“Sixth floor”

The attendant nodded as the elevator doors closed. When the doors opened again I walked smack into Mark.

“Whoa, easy there, Faith. You’re wired. Calm down.”

“I can’t calm down. I want to see him. I miss him.”

“I know kid, I know.” He knocked on the door waiting for Glenn to respond. None came. He banged on the door. On the last swing the door opened and Glenn came out, looking more angry than I had ever seen him.

“Quit fucking banging on the Damned door. What in the hell do you want?”

Mark scowled angrily, turning up his nose at the lingering smell of hard liquor and beer. “You told me to bring Faith by, remember? Or are you to damned drunk to remember?” Mark pushed past him and led me in motioning me to sit in a chair near the windows. I looked around Clothing, furniture and liquor bottles were scattered everywhere.

“My God Glenn, What did you think you were doing? You can’t be doing this shit again!”

Glenn pointed to me. “What am I supposed to do huh? The one person I love more than my own life and thought I could give my heart to goes and fucks the largest son of a bitch in this world! Tell me Faith. Was he good? Was he better? Did I mean anything to you? At All?”

He shoved his face into mine, breath reeking of Wild Turkey and Old Jack Dan. “Glenn. Like I told Mark, I have never slept with Irvine. I hate him with the passion of a thousand deaths. Do you really fucking distrust me enough that you’d really think I had slept with the King of all bastards? You got to be fucking kidding. Who are you going to believe me or Irvine?”

Glenn backed up and looked at the desk in the corner of the room. “I believe you, but pictures don’t lie.” He grabbed a mid sized envelope. “Explain it.”

I took the envelope. I opened it up and about fell out of my seat. Mark came over as I began to choke. Three Pictures of Jericho and me, or at least someone who looked like my double. They were awfully fuzzy, almost patchy in places.

“What in the fuck is this shit? Huh Faith?” Mark grabbed me by my shoulder. “You looked me dead in the eye and lied to me?”

I stood up and surprising to me especially, pushed Mark away with my good arm. “No, I didn’t and this,” pointing to the pictures still hanging half way out of the envelope, “is a crock of shit!”

“It sure looks like simply fucking to me.” Glenn stood up and headed for the door. “And I hope it was good. Because you’ll never be getting any from me ever again. Now. Good-bye, Faith.”

I got up from the chair and looked him in the eye. “You can think what you want. I know what is truth. I will prove my innocence Glenn. I still love you and I always will. I didn’t do this. I swear to God I didn’t.”

“Just Go.”

I walked out and he slammed the door. There was no use turning and saying anything to a door. I hung my head until I got back to my room. I felt sick. Like I was going to pass out. ‘Keep going wait until you get to your room.’ Jess, Amy, My Dad and Jeff were there as I walked in.

“Help me.”

I fell to my knees and just cried. I couldn’t do anything else.

“My god, Faith what happened?” Jeff picked me up and literally had to carry me to a chair. “Where have you been? We’ve been worried about you. Where have you been?”

“Glenn. Irvine’s setting me up. Pictures. I didn’t do it I swear!” I screamed. Loud, blood curdling. Jeff and Jess grabbed me by my arms. “Goddess, why are you doing this to me. If you want to torment me why not just kill me!” I fell on my knees, bawling. The floor had been pulled from under me. Not only was I injured, but now my strength and my love was gone.

“I wanna go home.”

All of them looked at me with shocked expressions on their faces. Dad wiped off my face. “Faith, are you sure?” I nodded as best I could. I didn’t even have the strength to lift my head. “Jeff, call the airlines and get us 3 tickets. Jillian and I will take your sister home.”

At that point, I finally passed out.
