Chapter 15

"Oh my gosh! I can get out tomorrow?" Asked April excitment in her voice.
"Yes, you can get out tomorrow. Your wounds are healing just fine, your out of your coma and you have no signs of going back into one. So you ca hom home." Said the doctor.
April smiled happyly along with Mike, Chester, and Trish. They were all worried that she would have to stay longer for longer observation but luckyly she didn't. She could go
home tomorrow morning.
"Yes! You get out tomorrow! This is great!" Said Mike as he hugged April gentally.
Chester smiled at Trish and she smiled back both of them happy that April was finally getting out of the hospital. All of them seemed to be sick of being there with many people
who were sick, dying or hurt. It was a eriee place to be actually. April began to think if her and Mike could go out to dinner like they had planned. Maybe Chester and Trish would
care to join them also and they'd go to nice place. Have a really facny dinner, dance, or even go to a club to dance would be fine as long as April got to have some fun. Being in
the hospital was boring besides for when Mike was here joking around and keep her company. She knew he had to be even more tired of being in the hospital room then she
was.
"Thanks for everything, doctor." Said April.
"It was nothing. I'll have your discharge papers ready for you to leave in the morning." Said the doctor.
Then he walked out of the room letting the close shut. April let out a sigh thinking about being out of the hospital. If Ron would be there to hurt her again, if he would hurt her brother,
Mike, Joe, Rob, Brad, or Dave. She knew he would go afterm alm also since they know what happened. A part of her wanted to stay and the other part of her wanted to leave, be
free again. She looked down at her hands, frowning thinking about all that could happen. Mike looked at her and seen she was worried about something. He placed his hand on
hers and asked her what was wrong.
"Mike, I'm just scared about what might happen once I get out. Will Ron be after me? You? My brother? The guys?" Said April.
"April, I'm gonna watch you close and protect you from that guy. Do you understand? I won't let him hurt you!" Said Mike looking down at her.
"Ok. I understand." Said April looking back up at her.
He nodded his head then smiled at her, picking his hand up and poking her in the nose making her laugh. Chester yawned then looked at his watch checking the time. It was
12 midnight. He let out a sigh knowing that he should head back to the hotel to get some rest. He stood up and streched out.
"Well, guys its getting late and of course I gotta be back over here to get you when your discharged." Said Chester.
"Hey, I could be the one who goes with her when she gets out. We kinda got a few things planned after she gets out." Said Mike.
"All right. That works. Then Trish and me can go out and do something also." Said Chester as he looked down at Trish and smiled.
She looked up at him and smiled back then said "Yeah, we haven't did anything together yet."
"thatthat's cool with me!" Said Mike.
Everyone said their goodbyes then Chester and Trish left. Mike moved his legs up onto the bed, resting them as he reached over and took April's hand. She let out another sigh that
sounded depressed still. Mike looked over at her woundering what was making her sound so sad.
"Are you ok?" Asked Mike.
"I don't know. I was just thinking about something." Said April.
"What were you thinking about?" Asked Mike.
She didn't answer at first feeling uncomforable to tell him what she was thinking about. Finally, she told him.
"I was thinking about if I ever will feel comfortable to have...." She stopped, blushing.
"What? Feel comforable with having sex?" Asked Mike.
She nodded her head slowly, still feeling uncomfortable. She was scared to even talk about the topic. All that had happend to her really put a damper on how she looked at the
world, on people, on herself. She felt that she was dirty and everything she did wrongrong, every move was wrong. Her thoughts stopped when she felt Mike gentlly hug her. The
weird thing was she always felt comfortable when Mike touched her. She didn't understand why she did but she did and always wanted to him to hold. Make her feel safe, block
her from the horrible things that would hurt her.
"I'm sure sooner or later you will feel comfortable with having sex. I mean right now of course your not gonna be with all the has happened to you but your day will come when
you will feel safe to." Said Mike.
"Well, as long as your....the one. I will. I always feel safe with you." Said April.
Mike smiled then said "Well, I think we should get some sleep. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day."
"Ok. Goodnight and I love you." Said April as she kissed him.
"Night and love you too." Said Mike.
April scooted over to the side of the bed then rolled over to her side, laying her head on the pillow. Mike reached up to the over head light and turned it off and moved down next
to April, putting his arm around her waist closing his eyes. April sighed happyly, for once she actually felt comfortable. Then they both finally gave into sleep.
