Pixie Dust and Dark Voids
PD Chapter 16
“Is that Gerard Butler?” The question floated through the air and reached Gerard’s ears. Unable to resist, Gerard turned around and his eyes fell upon 3 women, huddled together. Gerard approached the woman, beaming. He loved meeting fans. One woman stepped forward. She had shoulder length brown hair and greenish blue eyes. She offered her hand, which Gerard took and shook.
“Hi, I’m Stasia. I’m so pleased to meet you. I’m a huge fan.” Gerard grinned. “Hello darling. Nice to meet you.”
“I loved you in Dear Frankie. Tell me, is Burns ever going to be made?”
“Hopefully. I really want Burns to come about as well.”
“What are you fine woman doing in an airport then?”
“Flying” laughed Stasia. “Gerard, I have a question, but it could be classed as in invasion of privacy”
“Ask away,” piped Jade. Holding Gerard’s hand and loving how uncomfortable he looked. “Boxers of briefs?” giggled Stasia. Gerard’s face broke in a grin and he laughed.
“Briefs” laughed Jade; quickly letting go of his hand and running toward the shops.
“I do not. Oi, come back here wench” Gerard shouted, leaning to see Jade vanish into the crowds. After joking for a few more minutes, Gerard had photos with the three women. Giving them hugs and thanking them for being so supportive.
“Sorry ladies, I have to leave now; your appearance has allowed my lady to vanish into the shops, and she has my credit card!”
Waving goodbye, Gerard stood and looked around the shops. Which was Jade more likely to hide in? Spotting a clothes shop, he gritted his teeth and walked through the doors. He spotted Jade easily. She was stroking a skirt, and looking at the price tag. Gerry slinked in behind her and snaked his arms around her waist.
“Naughty woman” he whispered, “You know how uncle Gerry feels about you running off to shop. You spend far too long.”
Jade laughed, “You men have no idea. It’s important.”
Gerry looked at the skirt in her hand, and stroked it with his own. It was silky to touch. Pink with black designs covering it, He knew it would look fantastic on her, so he pushed her slowly to the dressing rooms.
“Gerard, no,” Jade laughed, “These airport prices are awful, I can probably get the same skirt for half the price back home.”
Gerry smiled and closed the curtain on her. “Hurry, I want to eat before we board the plane.”
Gerard could hear her fumbling about with her clothes behind the curtain. “All you ever do is eat.”
“And all you ever do is shop!” As Jade walked out the cubicle, Gerard’s eyes scanned her frame. The skirt fitted her perfectly, showing her figure off.
“Darling, that looks the shit”
Jade laughed, “I love you and your way with words.” Jade walked toward him and kissed him softly on the lips.
“It looks so damn good, I can’t wait to rip it off you,” Gerard let his hands roam down her back and stop on her bum.
Jade laughed and backed away, “Get off me, you dirty dog, I’m just going to change.”
“No, leave it on” Gerard called over his shoulder, walking to the check out, he grabbed another skirt off the hook and had them scan it, then ripped the label of Jades and they left the shop.
“Thank you,” she whispered, “I will make it up to you.”
Gerard growled in her ear, “How are you going to do that?”
“You will see. Now where do you want to eat?”
“I won’t tell you again Jade, shift it”
“Gerard, bite me. I am sitting here!”
Passengers on the plane couldn’t help but smile at this couple. Clearly in love, they were fighting over who got the window seat. It seemed to all onlookers that the man didn’t have a chance. The woman had already plonked herself down and strapped herself in. Many of the women on board looked on envious. They recognised Gerard, all right. He was just as breathtaking in the flesh as in his movies. Giggles came from many of them as they watched Gerard grab the woman’s arm and pull her.
“Gerry get off me,” Jade laughed. “You’ll pull my arm out the socket”
Gerard wasn’t backing off, diving on the seat next to her, he snaked his arms round her and unbuckled her seatbelt, tickling her until she was out of breath. Jade grabbed a bottle of water and held it over his crotch.
”One more move, Butler, and you will have ‘metaphorically wet yourself’.”
Gerard dropped Jade quickly, and held both his hands up. The laughter from the fellow passengers stopped Jade and Gerard’s games. Both turned red and sat down quickly, giggling to themselves.
“Haha, I win,” whispered Jade, “I can’t take you anywhere.”
Gerry laughed and lifted her hand to his mouth; kissing it softly, he lay back. Exhaustion swept over him. “Are you tired baby?” Jade asked, leaning her chair backwards so she was on his level.
“Mm yeah, I didn’t get much sleep last night if you recall. I might just sleep until we get there.”
“Yeah I recall. I have hay burns,” Jade dropped one arm across him and snuggled into his neck.
They had managed to get a late flight, as the sun began to set, darkness fell over the plane. The stewards flicked the main lights off, leaving the perfect atmosphere for sleep. A few passengers kept their lights on so they could read; these were the last things Jade focused on before her deep breathing joined Gerry’s.
