Chapter 18

Nerissa was laying in bed the same place she had been for days.
“Nerissa there is someone on the phone for you they said they have info about someone named ‘bert’. Her mom called through her bedroom door.
Nerissa shot out of her bed to her door and threw it open and grabbed the phone:
Nerissa: Hello?
Person: My name is Tessa. Bert has been hold me here against my will for 3 years. I finally got a chance to get to a phone and call for help I know you want him in jail as much as I, what he did to your brother was unspeakable, he did the same to mine. I have called the cops they are on the way here is the address. Please help me.”
Nerissa: ok I’m coming

Nerissa hung up the phone and jumped up showered and got dressed.
She hauled ass down stairs and skidded into the living room
“ which one of you knows where Knocker Lane is?” she asked panting
Bob slowly raised his hand.
“ ok everyone get in the van bob your driving me…MOVE NOW!” she screamed

Bob stood next to the car looking confused
“Bob I need you to show me where this place is!”
she said from the passenger side seat
“Nerissa why are you…”
“because this is where bert is and I wanna be there when that mother fucker gets his! NOW GET IN THE MOTHER FUCKING CAR BOB!”

He got in a drove her while the others followed in the van.

They pulled up in front of the house and just in time to see a kicking screaming flailing Bert being drug out in cuffs.

‘THERE SHE IS ASKE HER TESSA.BABY TELL THEM I HAVE GOOD TO YOU, TREATED YOU WELL HAVEN’T I? TELL THEM TESSA! HELP ME YOU WHORE” he screamed in anger.

Nerissa walked up to the girl he was looking at.
“tessa?” Nerissa asked
The girl turned around.
“I’m sorry miss we are taking her to the hospital you can see here ther”
Tessa stopped them
“This is the girl who’s brother he killed.”
“I’ll ride with her to the hospital if she wants” Nerissa

~~~~ 4 hours later~~~~~~~~
“Ma’am Visiting hours are over” said the nurse as she came into the room.
Nerissa Smiled at Tessa and kissed her forehead.
“I was wondering if you could make sure she gets this when she wakes up?” Nerissa asked holding up an Envelope.
The nurse nodded and Nerissa sat it down next to the bed and left. Gerard and everyone was sitting in the waiting room, Gerard was looking a little green.
“THANK FUCKING GOD CAN WE PLEASE GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, I HAVE SEEN MORE NEEDL…….CAN WE JUST PLEASE LEAVE” he begged her.
She giggled and placed a kiss on his Lips and nodded.

~~~~ back in the Hospital Room~~~~~
Tessa woke up and found an Envalope resting on her chest
She opened it and inside was a letter from Nerissa it read:

Tessa,

I think I have found a new best friend in you.
Because of you I have found Peace in my life.
You have helped me but a man that ruined both of our lives behind bars. The court date if today I will testify for both of us If I have too. He is never going to hurt us again Tessa.
I will make sure of it.
