Why, in the name of God, had that little mishap with others seeing Ryan and Catrianna at one of their more intimate moments, happened? As they were in the car, Rebecca could not stop giggling about it. Seriously, Catrianna's face was as red as the cherries imprinted on her steering wheel cover.
"That ought to teach you to keep it in the bedroom," she said with a rueful grin, to which Cat rolled her eyes. "Honestly, like you've never had sex before?" Rebecca laughed. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Cat shook her head. "No, I'd rather not know. So... let's see here..." She parked in the parking lot of the square in which the florist and the also Viviana's boutique was located. She had every faith in Ryan to deal with the food and the tuxedos, begging him to consider the vegetarian-friendly menu option as well.
"Alright, florist first, as that should be quick. Mum had the arrangements sent here for me to inspect. This florist is actually a friend of hers who lived in England until roughly the past five years or so, therefore I am quite concerned here. This woman is just as much a perfectionist as Mother!" Cat shook her head as she and Becca stepped into the florist's shop. Just as they had, Becca's phone rang. "Hello? Oh Ivy... Okay running late, we'll just meet you at Viv's boutique in say an hour or so? Good." Just as she hung up the phone, she got another call. "April! Glad to hear you're finally back in town... You do remember the shopping plans for today, right? Okay good, I'll see you later then."
She hung up her phone and rolled her eyes. "Ivy will be a little late, given that she was a bit... Preoccupied. If you ask me, she was probably having sex with Pete again. I am telling you, they will wind up with ten kids within the next five years!" She shook her head as she leaned casually against the counter. "Oh and April is on her way. Actually, she's coming straight from doing some errands of her own." Cat nodded, ringing the bell for service at the counter. "Good, then we can get this planning underway. I suppose you and I can handle flowers, well and perhaps April. And yeah, I overheard... Ivy's meeting us at Viv's, right?" Becca nodded. "Yeah... So just what flowers did your mother choose?"
Cat opened her mouth to answer, but then a petite woman answered, her British accent giving way that she was the owner of the flower shop. "Catrianna, it seems as if only yesterday you were merely this high. Now, you're off and getting married? Marrying well, I hear..A famous musician. Now isn't that wonderful, living the glamour of a celebrity wife. I'm sure many girls would kill to be in that position." Cat exchanged glances with Becca, and smirked, thinking of Amber at that point. "Oh, I'm sure... But yes, this is Rebecca Wentz, the Maid of Honour." She pushed Becca towards the woman as she made a haste introduction. "Becca, this is Janine Cuthridge, a dear friend of my mother's." The woman shook hands with Becca before a businesslike demeanor overcame her. It was no surprise that she was as professional as her mother in her job. "Very well, come with me to the gardenhouse, where the florists are working on the arrangements as we speak."
She motioned Becca and Cat towards this gardenhouse in the back, where three florists were working feverishly. Clicking her tongue, Janine held up a pink rose with silver lining to the light. "I'm not sure if this will do... The edges are a tad bit smudged, you see? Try it again." Catrianna rolled her eyes towards Becca, who raised an eyebrow incredulously at the bride, given that she could find no fault in the rose whatsoever. Though, as she was about to say something, she heard voices coming towards the enterance of the garden house. "Of course my name isn't on the appointment book, I'm not the bride. I'm meeting here here." Becca giggled, stepping aside to leave Cat with the arrangements. "That would be April, I'll show her the way."
Moments later, when judgments were pretty much made about the arrangements and when they would be delivered on the wedding day, Rebecca returned with April. Cat squealed, flinging her arms around her. "APRIL!!! It's been far too long!" Suddenly out of nowhere, Becca cut in. "April, what is that around your finger?" April grinned as she examined the ring around her left finger. "Hmm last time I checked, it was a wedding band."
"APRIL! What in the name of God... When did this happen?" Rebecca could not believe that she hadn't told her about this. April laughed, raising an eyebrow. "It's okay Becca, easy breaths... in...out...in..."
"April," Becca cut in warningly as Cat merely stared between the two as if watching some ping pong match. "April... do explain," she spoke up quietly, though inwardly burning with curiosity. April sighed shaking her head. "Alright, alright... Well, when we were in Vegas last month, we got drunk... And apparently we woke up in a honeymoon suite with wedding bands. What did we do? Shrugged, and decided to give the sex another go. So, I guess we're married. Surprisingly, so far so good..." Cat squeaked at the mention of sex. April laughed. "Oh Ivy told me all... I wonder if it would be a hit on Youtube..." Cat blushed turning her head away. "Aww Cat- I was just kidding. I wouldn't do that." Becca sighed, and then looked at her watch. "Hate to cut this conversation short, but can we wrap it up? Did you at least get pictures?" April smirked. "Even better, I got it all on tape, minus the sex of course..."
Eventually the final decisions were made. The flowers would consist of Lavender and Pink Roses, all edged in silver. Once all arrangements for delivery were made, they headed to Viv's place. Just as they opened the door, they saw Ivy sitting there with Viv, cradling a tiny girl. "Ohh would you look at her, she's so adorable," Ivy cooed, as the girl grasped her finger with her tiny fist. Viv laughed. "Yes, I'd like you to meet Angelique Rosalia Candori, born en route to Paris and all. Thank God it was an American plane, else my daughter would have wound up a citizen of France. Now wouldn't that be some explanation to make? New York-born woman with French daughter. Nah, she's Italian-American, and I wouldn't have it any other way." She beamed as she stroked her daughter's cheek fondly. It hadn't been easy for her. She had spent the last five years in an abusive marriage. Though, when she realized she was pregnant, she knew that she had to protect her child. Therefore, she found the courage to file for divorce, as messy as it had been. "Thank God she takes after me, is all I can say..." She smiled at her daughter again, who seemed to be exploring the new people. Her daughter had saved them both, it so seemed.
Though, as she mentioned the 'en route' to France line, Catrianna rolled her eyes. "Who decided to go to France when eight months pregnant, might I ask?" Viviana rolled her eyes, as she noticed that Ivy and Becca had been both cooing over the baby. "Well, my idiot doctor told me it would be another month, and I couldn't miss my own line in France, now could I?" Cat sighed, thinking of the story, which Becca and Ivy had both heard as well. Just as the plane had taken off towards France, she had felt discomfort, thinking nothing of it. Later, she woke up in excruciating pain, realizing that she had gone into early labor. Though, the stewardess would not tell the captain to make an emergency landing, as it was completely unnecessary. Fortunately, the man sitting next to her had been a doctor. Just an hour or so after giving birth to this little girl, she was transferred to an American military base hospital, where she recovered enough to fly back to the United States. "Though, on the bright side, I'm not going to be looking like a cow at your wedding." She smiled.
Suddenly, the little baby began to cry, as she noticed the absence of her mother's embrace. Becca carried the child to her. "I think she needs a mother's touch, she's a cutie, I'll give you that," she stated with a fond smile. Viv smiled slightly, and nodded. "Thanks...Ivy are you okay? You look like you have something on your mind." Ivy snapped out of her daze, eyes lingering on the child for a moment before glancing back at Viviana. "Oh yeah, sorry, nothing much really." April raised an eyebrow. "When Ivy says nothing much, it's something," she muttered in Becca's ear, to which Becca nodded in agreement. Cat had now been cradling the baby, first afraid to hold her as she looked so tiny and fragile, but then grew comfortable with cradling her in her arms. "Viv, I think she's asleep." Viviana looked from Ivy, back to Cat before peering to check on her daughter. She held her arms out for her. "Yeah, definitely asleep. Here, let me take her for now, and put her in her cradle. This is good, then we have a few hours to work here." She placed little Angelique in her cradle, then returned, clasping her hands together. "Alright, first things first, I have the basic designs of the dresses sewn, we just need to have you all try them on so that I can make note of where the extras to the dresses are to go."
April looked up. "Hey, where's your bathroom? I'll make it quick." Within moments she disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Viviana to work on both Ivy's and Becca's bridesmaid dresses. They were dusky pink (almost a purple shade) satin strapless gowns, trimmed with this fashionable black sash along the waist in the form of a bow, falling down to just below the knees. They were surely a sight to behold. Just as Viv had finished sticking pins where she needed to make final touches, April came running out, clutching a stick in her hands. "Yo! help me out here... Is that a plus? I am trying to look at this thing, and it looks a lot like a smiley face..." She held the stick at an odd angle to which Viv, Cat, Ivy, and Becca all gasped, immediately identifying it as a pregnancy test. Viv got to the stick first, holding it to the light. She paused for a moment. "April, how have you felt lately?" April looked up and shrugged. "Flu-ish is a good description, I was just curious to see...Why?" Cat and Becca rose on their tiptoes to see the test results. "Bloody Hell April, you're pregnant..." April's eyes widened as she was actually at a loss for words. It hadn't helped when Ivy abruptly stepped down from the stool she stood on. "Viv, you said you were done with me right? Something suddenly came up... I'll call you in the evening or something." Quickly but carefully, she stripped the dress off her, gingerly handing the dress to Viviana. She then threw her clothing on, and bolted out the door like a bat out of hell. April broke out of her daze. "...Did I do something?" Cat and Becca were staring at the retreating Ivy, who pulled out of the parking lot like a bat out of Hell. "..What the..." Viv cut Becca off with a comment of her own. "I was done with her anyways, it looks like she really does have a lot on her mind, give her some time to get her head together."
Cat nodded, before looking back at April. "April, you okay?" April turned to Cat, a radient smile on her face as she squealed, hugging first Becca, then Cat. She then turned to the designer, hugging her as well. "Viv, hurry up with me, I've got a husband to corner..." Viviana laughed as she motioned her to get on the stool. "Lucky for us, the wedding is only in three weeks, so I don't have to readjust the dress sizewise. And yeah, love your husband now, cause I can gurantee that you'll be hating him from time to time," she added with a wink. April raised an eyebrow. "Oh, Gabe knows... If he pokes with the stick, he's got to deal with the chick... no matter what." Becca giggled at the rhyme and then stepped down from her own stool, gingerly changing out of her dress, hanging it next to where Ivy's was hung before getting dressed. "Alright April... Done, go on home and tell him, ya hear?" Viviana told her with a grin. With a smirk, April nodded. "Oh, I'll tell him alright," she added with a devious gleam in her eye. It was only obvious that this evil mastermind was formulating some master plan. With a wave, she hurried off, God only knowing what she was going to do once she got home.
As April had left, it had been just Becca and Cat with Viv. Viviana smiled, as she walked to a closet to reveal a dress. "I finished mine first, you know, to get a feel for the design. This is how it's going to look like." She held out the dress for both Bride and Maid of Honor to see. Actually the design had come out quite good.
( if you want a general idea... http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a160/erskinephan/Pics%20for%20my%20Ficcy/Wedding%20Stuff/7182_f.jpg and http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a160/erskinephan/Pics%20for%20my%20Ficcy/Wedding%20Stuff/7182_b.jpg ).
Cat squealed as she held the dress by its hanger. "Viv! You're an genius!!" Becca rolled her eyes as Viv responded with a bow. "I know, I know... But let's just say I've had some time between Angie's sleep schedules to work on it," she added with a wink. She took the dress back as both finished admiring it, now putting all dresses together. "I can gurantee they'll be ready by wedding day, have no fear. Now, the moment we've all been waiting for... I'm done with the bridal dress, we just need to see how it fits. Cat blushed, though her eyes shone happily. "Alright, let's see it," she said, as Becca and Viv worked on getting the dress out of the closet. "Wow Cat, the dress is absolutely gorgeous!" Becca declared, to which Cat squealed again. "Let me see!!!!" Viviana laughed, bringing the dress to her. "Don't wet yourself, alright strip down and see how this fits...My god that sounded so wrong..." Viviana grimaced, making sure her daughter didn't hear that phrase. Hey, young minds tend to learn things from the start. She then handed Cat the dress, both Becca and she assisting with it. It wasn't that the dress was a huge and flowing gown, though it did have a long train.
(Bridal Dress... http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a160/erskinephan/Pics%20for%20my%20Ficcy/Wedding%20Stuff/2227_l.jpg and http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a160/erskinephan/Pics%20for%20my%20Ficcy/Wedding%20Stuff/2227_b.jpg)
Tears sprang to Cat's eyes as she stared at her reflection, a vision in white. She clapped a hand over her mouth. "Becca, I'm wearing my wedding dress...Three weeks until I'm Catrianna Ross," she smiled, truely portraying the blushing bride image by now. Viv laughed, inspecting the dress. "Well Cat, I think this dress is absolutely perfect. Looks like all we need to do is finish up the bridesmaid dresses. We're really in good shape here." Becca put a hand on Cat's shoulder and smiled. "Catrianna Ross has a nice ring to it..." She hugged her friend, careful not to wrinkle the dress. Stepping away, she nodded. "Well, good news, we can probably beat the boys home. Viv, doing anything tonight? Perhaps you can join us." Viviana tilted her head. "Are you sure you want to deal with a three week old baby?" Cat laughed, as she gingerly hung the dress, getting back into her clothes). "Actually Viv, the question is, do you want your child around the boys?" Viviana rolled her eyes. "Can't be worse than the family reunion I attended last week. Hold on, let me close up shop. Soon, all was closed and ready, just when little Angelique opened her eyes, only to stare at her mother. Viviana smiled, reaching for her child, gently placing her in her car seat, which she secured with ease. "I'll follow," she told them, as they walked out. She reached for her keys, unlocking her new mini van with the press of a button. Cat raised an eyebrow. "Viviana, you traded in your Porsche for a Van?" The woman rolled her eyes. "Some things are worth the sacrifice," she added with a smile, climbing into the driver's seat once baby Angelique was all securely fastened in the vehicle.
Meanwhile... The boys had just been returning from wedding plan shopping of their own. Viviana had already taken care of the Tuxes the last week, and they had managed to take care of every duty they planned to. "Hey Spencer, Brendon, where the hell did you guys disappear of to?" Ryan asked, as they met back at their meeting spot. Brendon raised an eyebrow. "Just chillin like a villian, you know the drill." Spencer had to cough to stifle a laugh at that comment. The two had disappeared to well, share a moment alone... Courtesy of a public bathroom, which they locked just for that moment alone. "Yeah, what Bren said, so what now? We've all agreed on the food right?" Jon shrugged glancing at Pete, who glanced at Ryan. "Well, I left it up to Brendon to pick the vegetarian-friendly food, trying to make it Vegan friendly so that Andy has no problem with it. So Bren.. Did you find some good things on the menu? Because I really don't want to face the wrath of Cat," Ryan responded. Brendon looked up. "Oh yeah, I just opted for the 'Tofurky mignon' menu choice.... God who the Hell made up that name?" Pete shook his head. "Tofu version of Turkey genius..."
Brendon rolled his eyes, randomly resting his chin on Spencer's shoulder. Hey, straight guys did that too, it was a typical Brendon trait to rest his chin on someone's shoulder even in the non-romantic sense, but it was the best way for the two to comfort one another without divulging a secret they weren't prepared to divulge quite yet. "Well B, it was a good choice, given that I wouldn't want to see Becca's expression if she didn't find any veggie-friendly food there." He rolled his eyes, and then glanced back at the guys. "Sooo, what say you, should we beat the girls to the pad?" Pete was about to answer when his phone rang. Holding up a finger, he grabbed for it, walking away. After a few moments passed, he returned. "Guys, I'm beat, I think I might just head back and have a relaxing night with Ivy, it's been a while since we've had that." Ryan rolled his eyes. "Riiight, like you haven't banged her day-to-day?" Pete rose an eyebrow. "Hey, at least you haven't seen me go at it in front of a webcam." Ryan glowered as Spence and Brendon looked up, only hearing webcam. "Ry...Just what happened?" Ryan shook his head, walking back to his car, not one to really care about divulging about his sex life like that. Though Spence and Brendon caught on as Pete mouthed out the phrase 'future newlywed webcam porn.' He soon departed, to check on why Ivy had sounded so shaken up on the phone.
This left Jon, Spence, and Brendon, and Ryan at the parking lot. "Ry seems to have the right idea, let's go," Jon suggested, getting into the car with Ryan. Something weird was going on between Spencer and Brendon that they lately insisted on driving just them together... Could they be...? Nah, definitely not... Well maybe, they were a bit flamboyant after all..."
All seemed to get home at the same time, to find that the girls had also brought Viviana and Anglique their way as well. Ryan smiled as he saw Spencer and Brendon coo over the kid from the distance. They really did seem to spend a lot of time together, like that there was some new bond between them. Shaking that thought, he stepped closer to the baby, swallowing nervously. If Cat hadn't miscarried, they would have had an infant by now as well. But as they say, fate works in funny ways, perhaps that hadn't been the right time. He did want children someday, but he knew that he and Cat still had to recover from their recent loss. "Hey, so this is the baby born en route to France?" he asked, picking the child up, cradling her like the tiny baby doll that she had been. She was beautiful. When she grabbed his finger with her tiny fist, he laughed, showing a softened gaze he hadn't shown before.
As Viviana watched this, she smiled. It seemed as Ryan was starting to recover, as was Cat. Perhaps soon enough, he would be holding his own child like this. With a smile, she reached for the baby. "Here, I know how to cradle her to where she falls straight asleep during a movie..." Becca, who had been watching Ryan as well looked to see where Cat had disappeared off to. She found her around back, leaning against a tree, blue eyes glistening with tears. "My child would have been due today Becca," she said in a wistful tone as she gazed up at the night sky. "I sometimes wonder what it would have been like, having that special bond with my child, sort of like that connection Viv has when holding Angie..." Becca clicked her tongue, reaching for Cat's shoulder. "Cat, look at me. Just because you lost a child once, doesn't mean that you're going to lose one again." Cat nodded, sniffling some. "I know Becs, I know... That's not why I'm crying.. Ryan with little Angelique... Just the way he held her like that, it's how I've imagined him holding a child of ours someday... I think we're ready to move on..." she laughed, hugging Rebecca close. "No one can ask for a better friend than you Becca, I'm really blessed to have all of you guys in my life.." Becca sniffled to this. "Oh now you've got me tearing up Cat, come on let's go find a funny movie. Cat smiled, looping an arm around Becca. "Excellent idea."
In the midsts of the movie 'Anger Management,' Patrick had arrived, only to curl up next to Becca, brushing his lips over hers, noticing that she still had tears in her eyes. "Beckanne, what's wrong?" he asked, looking concerned. Becca shrugged, nodding towards Cat and Ryan, where Cat's head had been on Ry's lap, as both had their laughs in the movie. "Look at that love, it's so pure and unconditional... I like to think that we're like that too." She then nodded towards Brendon and Spencer, who were sitting on the couch, a blanket covering them, not a suggestive position at all. "They are probably holding hands under the cover... Bren and Spence, but shhh, let them reveal it, okay?" she whispered, leaning against his shoulder. Patrick grinned. "Somehow I knew this was going to happen all along." Becca laughed, snuggling against Patrick, both exchanging 'I love you's.'
Cat had smiled at Ryan at a break from the comedy scene. "Ry, do you think that we could ever be good parents?" she asked, stroking his cheek. Ryan shook his head, smiling ruefully at Cat. "I'm not going to lie, we'd make some crazy kid... But yeah, I think we could pull it off, just as long as we stick together...Birds of a feather..." Cat smiled, kissing the tip of his nose. "I love you Ryan," she whispered, slipping a hand into his. Ryan returned the favor by kissing her in return, grasping onto her hand gently. "I love you too Cat, more than anything..."
His voice had trailed off as Brendon suddenly squealed in excitement. "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS PART!" he cried out, grinning in Patrick's direction. "Hey Patrick, sing with me!" he called towards him to which Patrick grinned back, also a fan of this scene, where the song 'I Feel Pretty' came up.
"I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and gay
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me today
I feel charming
Oh so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel
And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I'm real
See the pretty girl in that mirror there?
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face
Such a pretty dress
Such a pretty smile
Such a pretty me!
I feel stunning
And entrancing
Feel like running
And dancing for joy
For I'm loved
By a pretty wonderful boy!"
At the 'pretty and witty and gay,' Spencer smiled, squeezing Brendon's hand under the cover, happy to see that spirit to him, that wonderful carefree spirit to him when he sang. He softly sang the last line into Brendon's ear 'For I am loved, by a pretty wonderful boy!' Brendon smiled as the singing to the movie drifted off. When he saw that all were focused on the movie, he leaned over and kissed Spencer on the lips. "I think you're pretty wonderful too." As Brendon had kissed Spencer, Viviana noticed, as she had been cradling little her little angel. For the first time in a long time, she felt comfort in this place of such unconditional love for one another. This had turned out to be such a beautiful moment for such beautiful souls.
A/N: *sniffle* lol awww love can be so sweet.. :) Hope you liked... PLENTY OF MORE TO COME!!! I PROMISE!!!!!

Viviana rolled her eyes, as she noticed that Ivy and Becca had been both cooing over the baby.
