night time talks

Carrie's pov





Carrie's head flew off the pillow as she heard the voice again. She was sure she was dreaming but hearing it again was making it more real. She groaned into her pillow she heard the voice again. It had only been last week since they had last seen her.



'Hey......' Ashley stood at the bottom of the bed with Jakob in her arms. 'Here......hid him.....' Ashley lay Jakob down beside Carrie.



'Hide him?......oh Jeanne right....i knew I heard her........' Carrie looked down at the baby.



'Yea and she wont be in here saying hi to you.....so keep him here.....' Ashley slipped back out the room door leaving Carrie alone with the baby. It was amazing how much the small boy looked like Kelly, it only made Carrie love him a little more. Taking his little hand in her own she studied his fingers closely. She loved how small they were, how they wrapped around her finger as soon as she took hold of them. She put the cover over him gently as she heard the bedroom door open.



'I knew this day would come.......'Kelly stood at the side of the bed looking down at the two figures in her bed.



'What day?.....'



'The day I find you in bed with a man.......' Kelly said with a wink.



'Ha ha........Ashley made me hide him......' Kelly rolled her eyes sitting at the side of the bed next to Jakob.



'She's not the evil witch everyone makes her out to be........she raised me you know.......'



'I know....'Carrie nodded.' And that's what amazes me.'



'And why would it amaze you?....' Kelly asked as she ran her hand over her nephews head.



'How she could raise someone so beautiful....someone so beyond amazing.........I know her and I dont get along but for all the bad she does I can forgive her because she made you.......and that is something that amazes me......' Carrie looked up to find Kelly looking down at her.



'You can be so good with the words at times.......'



'And so wrong with them at other times?.....'



'Sometimes........but your getting better........' Carrie smiled looking back down at Jakob before her eyes caught Kelly again.



'You would so be getting some if this baby wasn't here.......'Kelly giggled at Carrie's raised eyebrow.



'Jeanne.....' Kelly covered her ears at Carrie's shouting. 'The baby in here......' Within ten seconds the bedroom door was pushed open revealing Jeanne.



'Ashley told me Jason took him for a walk.......' Carrie and Kelly shrugged as Jeanne took Jakob out the room.



'So you were saying?....'Carrie asked as soon as the bedroom door was closed.



'Ashley's going to kill you.....'Kelly giggled as she lay herself down next to her wife. Their lips connecting with in seconds.





Kelly's pov.





Kelly felt a little guilty now, although she hadn't felt it twenty minutes ago when she had Carrie moaning in her ear as they tried their best to be quiet.



'I don't think we've ever done it with people in the kitchen.......anyone could have came in. ' Kelly smiled hearing Carrie was still breathless.



'And in the middle of the after noon......'Kelly added.



'We're like animals.....'Carrie smirked as she looked down at her wife. 'And your naked.....'



'So are you......'Kelly pointed out.



'Makes round two so much easier......' Carrie slip her hand over Kelly's bare thigh.



'No round two.....we chanced it once....lets not get caught.....'



'And where's the fun in that.......'



'Carrie.....can you try for me......'by the look on Carrie's face she knew what she was talking about.



'I do...'she sighed. ' she doesn't like me Kelly.........you know it I know it.....but ill try harder......for you....'



'Thank you......' Kelly rested her head on Carrie's stomach. ' I know she's the one that starts it....but you have to admit that you enjoy pushing her buttons.' Kelly could feel her wife's stomach tighten as she tried not to giggle.



'I admit that I do.....but today ill bite my tongue.........' Kelly kissed over Carrie's stomach going up till she was kissing her lips .





Carrie's pov.





Biting her tongue was a lot tougher than she thought it would be, or Jeanne knew she was trying to be good and was doing everything in her power to make her snap. She sat on the sofa with Jason watching while Jeanne told Ashley what to do. It seems since Jakob's birth Ashley was now the daughter in law from hell.



'So you and Kelly got your dads personality?....'Carrie whispered.



'Yea........' Jason watched as Ashley stood up.



'Jeanne don't push me......'



'So this is what it looks like....'Carrie whispered. ' You going to step in ?....'



'And do what?.....'



'Ashley I am a mother of three I know what im doing......'



'Rescue your woman......'



'Bite me Jeanne.......' Ashley marched out the room. 'Kelly.......'



'Or not.....'



'Yea I think my girl can handle herself.....'Jason smiled until his mother turned to him causing him to quickly look away.

'So this is what you do....I get it now.....'Carrie walked into her office finding Kelly laying on the single bed.



'And what do I do?....'



'You hide in here while your mother is visiting......it's smart....wish I had thought of it.......' Kelly rolled her eyes.



'Whatever....'



Nice argument there,,,,,,'Carrie lay down next to Kelly in the small bed.



'Why did you spend so many nights in this bed......doesn't feel so good.....'



'I know.....that's what I like our bed better.....'



'Me too....'Kelly whispered. You remember when we promised to never go to bed angry.......'



'Yea.......we thought life was so simple back then......'



'It was........but things change.......'



'Why......why do they change....' Carrie pulled Kelly closer to her.



'We let them......'Carrie paused as she looked at her wife. 'go on a date with me......tonight.....'



'A date?......Carrie we're married I think our date nights are over.......'



'See that's our problem........we follow rules to much.....go on a date with me.......' Carrie smiled as Kelly thought about it.



'Where would we go?.....'



'Leave that to me.......be ready in a hour......'Carrie lay back on the bed laughing as Kelly climbed over her running out the room.





Kelly pov





Kelly walked out the bedroom, she looked at her watch. Exactly an hour. She found Ashley in the kitchen with a note in her hand. Kelly took it from her glancing over it.



'She's in the back garden.......' Ashley nodded. 'But the cars are out front.....'Ashley nodded again. 'So why is she out there......'



'I don't know....'Ashley snapped. 'Go look....' Kelly tutted before leaving the kitchen. She found Carrie standing under the tree house.



'Took you long enough.......'



'Your going to make me climb that?.....'Kelly looked up at the tree house.



'You climb it all the time.....'



'Im wearing a dress......' Carrie smiled.



'Luck me then......'



'You go first.....' Kelly stood back waiting for Carrie to move.



'Oh no I couldn't.......' Carrie gasped. ' and have you fall..........i can't do that to my wife.....' Kelly rolled her eyes. Grabbing onto the ladder she started to climb.



'No biting......' Carrie giggled behind her.



'Promise......' Kelly got to the top seeing the sight in front of her.



'A picnic.......'



'A picnic......we haven't done it in a while......'



'Yea...'.Kelly smiled. Settling down on the blanket Kelly watched as Carrie poured the wine out.



'My lady.....' Carrie handed Kelly a glass of wine.



'Why thank you.......'Kelly watched Carrie carefully, it had been a long time since they had been together like this. Something didn't feel right about it. It was all to familiar. She didn't say anything, carrie was trying and thats whats important.





Carrie pov.





The date had went well, after Kelly loosened up. She was now at the studio finishing the last song of the album before the tour started. She had promised Kelly she wouldn't be home late but her mind went back to the laptop sitting open on the table. Kelly had been in bed on hers when she had left so she knew she would be on it. Waiting for her stranger to log on. Carrie felt sick with herself but she couldn't stop now.

Carrie could feel the tears coming to her eyes as she read her wifes words.

Carrie was panicking now. She could hear her heart beating.

Carrie sat frozen in her seat. She looked over the words of the chat one more time, making sure she had read it right. She knew she had screwed up and she knew she had to go home and face her wife.
