Author Notes: The usual disclaimer: I don't own the people featured within this story, nor do I claim to know them at all on a personal level.

I do not know if they're like I have portrayed any of them, and personally, I can hope that they're not.

Have mercy, this is the first fanfiction I've written, let alone put up for others to see.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shinya had climbed up the stairs to Kyo's little hide-away. His stomach lurched when he saw the door ajar. Something's wrong. Kyo always locks himself in... With great unease, he peeked into the room. Nothing.
Maybe Kyo had decided to go out on his own? Doubtful. Shinya mustered enough courage up to take a step into the room. It wasn't, exactly, that he was terribly afraid of Kisaki. More or less, he was more nervous of what he would find.
It was then that he heard a small thump. The sound instantly sent a brick of solid lead into his stomach. Somehow he willed himself to intrude further into the room until he was directly behind a hunched over figure that could only be one person.
Kisaki was oblivious to Shinya, who had come in as quietly as ever, standing behind him. The only true thought in his mind was the fact that they were home and thus, it was time to wrap it up.
His grip tightened, cutting off the last of Kyo's air supply, in a base attempt to keep what he considered rightfully his near. It was only after Kyo's eyes rolled up into his skull that his hands loosened; letting the short vocalist slump to the floor.
Shinya stood there, staring at what happened, until Kisaki turned, obviously satiated for now, and looked at him. The young drummer took several hasty steps backwards, before turning and fleeing downstairs.
Kisaki chased after him, staying hot on his heels until the top of the stairs. He got away... This wasn't going to bode well, not at all. Even though everyone had known that he wasn't the kindest to Kyo, no one knew what he was after. Not until now.
After the briefest pause, Kisaki turned tail and headed down the fire escape. He'd return to his own apartment for now, until things cooled off. Then he'd return and once more demonstrate that he was in control. Everything would be fine.
Shinya, numb to the bone from what he had seen, flew down the stairs at record pace. Mind racing, he paid no heed to where he was going and ended up knocked onto his back, white four-pointed stars darting around his vision. What the...
Die managed to swallow his laughter as his bandmate sat up, and wondered briefly if Shinya realized that he was blushing bright red. As soon as Shinya's expression registered, however, he was more worried than amused. Offering a hand, he prompted the quiet drummer for an answer. "What's wrong, Tomato-kun?"
What's wrong? The question shook him from his shock. "Kyo," he spat. "Kisaki..." What was he supposed to call it, what Kisaki had been doing to his friend? Loss for words, he shook his head
furiously. "He's upstairs!"
Thankfully, that's all it took to get across that something was indeed wrong. Die's mood plummeted and his expression turned much more serious. "What?! Find Kaoru, meet me up there."
It seemed to take a decade to get upstairs and to the door. Then his willing rush faded. What would he find? It was making him sick with worry. There was only one thing that he could do, and so he did it. One step in. A second. So far, he couldn't see anything beyond the floor, which was decorated only by the light that had filtered in through the open door and window.
Where are you, Kyo? It was only then that his heart sank further. Was Kisaki still here? Whatever. If he was, he'd be damned to let the ass get away. His glance sweeped side to side. Unless that bastard could hide in an empty room...
Kaoru and Shinya arrived, and the former placed a light hand onto Die's shoulder and watched him jump. "Find him?" A quick shake of the head told him all that he needed to know. Shinya, quite content to stay as far away from the room as he could, gave the best directions he could with a shake of the hand.
It was Die who approached the corner of the room Shinya had gestured to. Pitch black. Why didn't we turn on the light?Typical, the most sensible answers always came to him -after- the fact.
Die turned back to the door, resigned to shaking his head as if answering the silent question of whether Kyo was still in the room, when his foot thumped into something odd on the ground.
Carefully dropping a bit away from the mound, he felt his way back. Whatever was lying there was fairly solid. "The lights." He heard Kaoru paw at the wall, attempting to find the switch before bright lights forced him to bury his face in his arm. "Hey, warn me next time!"
Kaoru left the indignant response alone, eyes pinned instead to the lifeless form on the ground. White hot anger rose up, burning his throat on the way. It took him little to no time to join Die at Kyo's side, and even less for him to start checking out the damage done carefully.
Three pairs of eyes watched solemnly as a gentle pair of hands attempted to find how bad the damage was. Silently, the youngest of them left to get help. The other two merely looked up at each other, eyes locking in silent agreement. Kisaki had gone much, much too far and there would be hell to pay.
I'm honestly sorry that it took me so long to post the second chapter. x_x I could come up with the reasons why it took me so long, but I doubt you care about them. (A good portion was disappointment in how I wrote the second chapter, actually. x_x )
I expect that I'll be updating this more frequently though. ^^;
