Chapter 2

“What…?” replied Billy without taking his eyes of the blonde who had moved onto another magazine rack. Following Billy’s eyes Joel spotted the blonde that had captivated the attention of Billy.

“Wow total babe, no wonder your standing here drooling, she’s mighty fine” replied Joel. Billy snapped back to reality and turned to find that Joel, Paul, Benji and Chris were gawking at the blonde.

Emma continued her exploration of the stock of magazines, comics and newspapers the shop had on display. Noting that some other shoppers carried baskets bearing the store name, Emma headed over to the basket stand to collect one herself.

Meanwhile Paul became engrossed in an enthusiastic conversation with another guy about extreme sports while standing in front of the sports section of the magazines.

Benji was chatting up two brunettes that looked to be ready to faint any minute over by the front of the store.

Chris was peering through the different newspapers from around the world, pretending he could read the Japanese print on one while he kept his eye on a pretty Japanese girl standing reading the paper next to him.

Joel on the other hand had circled the shop and was looking over the men’s magazines section, which was located next to the adult section of the shop, leisurely flicking through a men’s health magazine.

Billy stood next to Joel but looking into the adult mags when out of the corner of his eye he saw the blonde approach shit he thought to himself the last thing he wanted was to be approached by a fan when he was reading a porno mag.

Joel putting his magazine back had moved over to where Billy was standing and was just as shocked to see the blonde flick through the array of colourful magazines, flicking through a couple before placing them in her basket.

Shuffling across the stand to where the boys where standing Emma tapped Joel on the arm. Surprised Joel found himself looking down at the blonde girl, before he could say anything she spoke to them both “excuse me, can you move you’re in the road. I want to look here if that’s ok?”

Stepping back both Billy and Joel nodded “sorry” they both replied. “Its fine” Emma replied before continuing her search through the magazines. Placing another two magazines into her basket Emma turned around and saw the two guys still standing there, smiling Emma gave them a small wave and walked out of the store.

Walking out of the store each with their own purchases the guys approached their own van, Just in time to see the blonde from the shop get into a van identical to their own and drive away.

Twisting in his seat the driver Allan spoke to the guys “gotta make a quick trip to the studio before I take you guys home” “the boss wants you to meet somebody”.
“Who?” Paul asked before Allan could explain.

“Another artist from the label, but I think you will like her.” Allan replied, “I meet her last month she’s really gorgeous and talented and has the sexist Australian accent plus she’s nice as pie”

“Anyway we had better move or we are going to be late. What took you guys so long anyway?” Allan asked as he started the van and moved them into the traffic heading towards the studio.

“Um you know us, we just got side tracked” Chris replied.
