Of loneliness and love

Part 2 “Prelude to meeting”


Yukihiro walked onto the music station stage with the rest of L’arc. Looking down at the floor as usual, hearing voices but never really looking up, smiling slightly at a comment here or there. But his mind was somewhere else. It was on the man he was to meet tonight. The show went on as normal, going from one band to another. As he thought over all the chats he had with Niikura, he gently smiled to himself.

Now people may think it odd for him to be interested in a man. But it wasn’t his first time, he had had a crush on Tetsu for years. And then Ken and Tetsu got together. At first he was a little jealous, but was more happy for them then anything. And of course Hyde had gotten married. So some of his nights were a little lonely. He started talking to this guy online. And the more he talked to him, the more interested he got. The guy reminded him of Tetsu in some ways. So was it just out of loneliness that he began to be interested in this man he had never met? Or was it more? He wasn’t sure but maybe tonight he might find out. He slowly lifted his eyes looking around for this man, he had secretly fallen for.

Dir en Grey was the next to perform. He let his eyes travel to them. He liked some of their music for what he had heard of it. Looking over each member, noticing the drummer’s feminine yet strong motions. The bassist cute smile as he played hard on his bass. His eyes traveled from one guitarist to the other, and then there it was, blondish-brown hair about shoulder length, suit, and a violet rose. His eyes went wide and he almost fell off the back of the bench of the last row where he was sitting. If it were not for Ken catching him.

“You alright, man?” Ken whispered to him.

Have gave a nod then leaned over to Ken whispering to him

“That guitarist in the suit, what’s his name?”

“Kaoru” Ken answered

“Kaoru?” he looked questionably.

Ken nodded “Yeah, Niikura, Kaoru, he is the leader of Dir en Grey.”

“Oh” he simply replied looking back up to Kaoru, his thoughts going wildly in his head.

I don’t think L’arc and dir en grey were ever on music station together atleast not that I know of. But I thought it would be cute and it was just what popped into my head.
I know some of you may not like this pairing. And I don’t know how it came to me, it just did along with the ideas for this fic. And the thought of Yukihiro and Kaoru together is yummy to me XP
