Chapter 2
Disclaimer: I own nobody and I really hate writing fics about real people, but sometimes the muse just makes me. I'll try to stick with fic-fic eventually, but I just had to get these out there. Sorry! :-)
WARNING: Please keep in mind that this fic is probably heading in a really bad direction and make sure that you can handle it. If you know what a 'trigger' is then you probably really need to think twice before reading most of my fics. At least know that I always handle the act of rape and the aftermath as responsibly as I can. And please no flames. If you don't like it just don't read it. Thanks.
Rape in this chapter.
BTW, It's been awhile since I started this and everything is out of date and Kurt Busch won the championship last year so I am probably going to get things messed up and totally confuse facts. Sorry about that. :-)
Mel - Thank you for the review! I think you're the only one reading this, but you were nice enough to review so I wanted to add a chapter for you.
Dale sat down at the phone and listened to Kenny try to think of something to say. He frowned. This wasn't like Kenny. Kenny was honest and open and comforting. He never just sat around and sputtered.
"Kenny, what's going on? I tell you about all of this and you act like I just told you that NASCAR decided to go with all women drivers. Do you know something about this?"
"No, not exactly. Look, Dale, you need to really be careful about this, okay? I don't want you getting into the same fix that..." He stopped speaking, not sure what to tell his friend.
"Same fix that what? Kenny..you're my friend because you've always been straight with me. Don't stop now."
Kenny sighed loudly, knowing that he'd have to tell him or he'd feel guilty forever. "Alright. Jeff has been going through a really bad time since your dad died."
That took Dale by surprise. "My dad? What do you mean? Why would Gordon give a shit about my-"
"They were close."
"They were not!"
"Dale! The rivalry was on the track and you damn well know it." He paused, not happy with himself for swearing at his friend. "Dale, I don't know what happened, but one night I was sitting in your dad's hauler. He had just qualified well that day and he was doing what he usually does...making a strawberry sundae."
Dale laughed. After all this time he had finally found out his dad's tradition and it wasn't as tough as he'd pictured all these years. "Sundaes?"
"Yeah, and he offered to make me one since I was there with Rusty that weekend and bored as hell. Anyway, Gordon's trailer was pretty close by so I guess that's why he came there."
Dale gripped the phone tighter when he heard the pain in Kenny's voice. "Go on..."
"There was a scraping on the door and it was Jeff. I didn't really see him, because your dad was blocking my view, but I saw your dad move forward really quick...I think he was catching Jeff so I'm guessing he was hurt. I stood up to help, but Dale just looked at me and shook his head. He just told me to have his sundae and he'd be back when he could. I didn't see him for the rest of the night. After that, he got real protective of Jeff. As soon as qualifying was over the two of them would disappear for the night and it was like that every week."
Dale released the breath he'd been holding. "You think they were lovers?" He waited for Kenny to gasp and start laughing hysterically, but he didn't.
"I thought it was a possibility.....but no. I'm pretty sure that wasn't what their relationship was about. It was more like yours with your dad, but...different. It was very much a father and son type of thing, but there was this underlying comfort there that was just natural for him. Dale was more like the big bad protective bear and Jeff was just a cub."
Dale nodded to himself. "Makes sense. Alright, buddy. Thanks for the information. I'm going to check on Jeff and see if he says anything about all of this. I don't want him to know that I know. I'd rather he tell me himself."
Kenny smiled into the phone. "You know? I'm glad this is out. I thought it was so sad that the last few years you've both been so lonely for the same man. You could have helped each other out."
"I'll fix it, Kenny."
"I know you will."
The two men hung up and Dale began to wonder if he was ready to talk to Jeff again after the incident earlier. Come on...you're afraid of rainbow boy? He mentally smacked himself at the thought and walked to Jeff's hauler. He just rounded Harvick's hauler when he stopped and pressed himself back into the shadows. Jeff's door had opened and the last person he ever expected to see came strolling out.
Brooke stopped and leaned against her ex-husband's trailer and lit up a cigarette. Dale debated talking to her, but really didn't want to. Damn Jeff, if you let that viper back in your life then you're worse off than I thought.
He just waited and watched and tried to figure out what was going on. He kept looking at his watch and figured that Jeff must be getting ready to go out with the bitch. After 45 minutes, he decided to leave, but that's when the door opened again. A large man with a shaved head and a scary as hell goatee walked out and spoke to Brooke. She laughed and patted his arm. The two of them left and Dale couldn't help, but notice that the man looked disheveled.
He saw the light in the hauler turn off just as he reached the door. Fuck that. I want some answers. He knocked on the door a few times and didn't get an answer. He knew that he couldn't leave now that he'd seen Brooke and tried the door. It was open and Dale frowned. That was a big no no for drivers. You never knew when a psycho fan was kicking around the area just waiting for someone to let their guard down so they could sneak into a hauler.
He walked in and stopped immediately. It was the smell that hit him first. He knew it very well, but it was tainted with something dark. Sex between men always left a scent that Dale loved. The musk of two men making love was overwhelming and had a way of always turning Dale on countless times. Women were great, but he just preferred the smell after he'd made a man cry out his name.
It was the other smells that covered it up too much, though. Sweat, BO, and something else. He closed his eyes to try and isolate it and it came to him quickly. Blood...
He started to realize what could have happened and shuddered as he turned on the light. The outside area was empty and he sighed in relief, but then stopped when he saw the couch in the corner. It was nearly torn apart. The cushions were on the floor and the tables were shoved out of the way. He knelt closer and saw the remnants of the activity. Cum and blood spotted the carpet and there was a full load of semen on one of the cushions.
He stood up. Maybe Jeff just likes it rough. I have no idea whose blood this is. Maybe it was that guys or maybe he had a threesome with Brooke and that guy just was in here to clean up or something.... He pushed the thought away as soon as he had it.
He slowly pushed open the bedroom door and was about to say something to the darkened room when he heard the front door open again and Brooke's voice rang loud and clear. "I thought Pete would have turned out the light so that nobody would stop by while we grabbed a bite to eat."
A man's rough voice answered her. "He must have been really excited and forgot."
Dale heard the voices coming closer and felt behind him. He found a door and silently slipped into what he figured was a closet. Just as he closed the door enough to remain hidden, the bedroom light snapped on and he heard Brooke laugh. "Yeah...I thought so..." She left then and Dale could hear her in the other room with the big guy.
He blinked a few times and eased the door open a bit more. It took him a moment to figure out what he was looking at. He thought that the skinny guy with the ridiculously large dick must be Pete. The tattoo emblazoned on his arm with his name made Dale wonder if he had trouble remembering the name by himself.
The larger guy was nothing short of perfection. Perfect muscle tone and handsome as hell, but not much of a cock. Definitely smaller than the average, but he was pumping away at it and groaning. Pete seemed to be tired of it all. "Come on, Scott! Just do it. You got him once and now it's my turn. He won't bite. I promise."
"You're sure?"
"I'm sure." He smacked his hand down on the bed and a whimper came from the covers.
Dale's eyes widened. He hadn't even realized that there was someone on the bed. They were covered by a sheet, but Pete pulled the sheet away. Jeff was lying there and he was hurt. Bruises marred his skin and he moaned again as if the air made him hurt. Dale wanted to do something, but he knew that he'd just make things worse. He could have taken one, maybe two, of the guys, but not three and Brooke. Plus Jeff was in no shape to help him out.
Scott moved forward and pulled up Jeff's head by his hair. "Come on, rainbow warrior...make me cum." He shoved the driver onto him and Jeff gagged at the taste of the man. Pretty soon Scott had found a rhythm and was starting to really enjoy himself.
Pete reached forward and yanked Jeff up by the hips. Jeff cried out, but Pete smacked him hard on the ass to shut him up.
Jeff pulled away from Scott just long enough to utter a plea. "Not now. I can't."
Pete smiled and pressed his finger into the cleft of Jeff's buttocks. Dale didn't have a clear view of Jeff's opening, but the bloody finger that Pete pulled back with left no question of whose blood was in the front room.
Dale closed his eyes tight as Scott pulled Jeff back and Pete positioned himself. He bit down on his lower lip to keep himself from retching as he heard Jeff's pained grunt as he was probably ripped wide open. Just when he thought he couldn't hold it any longer, he heard Jeff heaving. He opened his eyes and watched as Scott just moved him a bit so that he could start sucking him off again.
Pete was pumping back and forth furiously, lifting Jeff's knees off of the bed at times. His cock was fiery red and Dale wasn't sure if he was that hard or if it was just Jeff's blood. Scott groaned loudly and came in Jeff's mouth. Scott clamped his hands in Jeff's hair so that the driver was forced to swallow. Then he pulled back and smiled. "Good boy..that's my rainbow warrior..." He pulled on his pants and went out to the front room.
Pete began to slow down and then started moving as if he was making love. "I know you like this. Tell me you like this."
Jeff just choked back a sob and shook his head.
"It's okay. You know that I just have to do this because she orders it and she's powerful. You made sure of that, didn't you? Let me make it good for you." He reached down and gripped Jeff's limp cock in his hand. "I know it was hurting, but now it's better, isn't it?"
Jeff just shook his head. "Don't..."
"Shhhh...." He moves his hips a little bit so that he's hitting Jeff's sweet spot over and over while pumping him in his hand. He begins to whisper sweet words to the driver, moaning and telling him how good he feels.
Dale pulls back his confusion at the pained expression on Jeff's face. He began to wonder just what was going on when Jeff began to pant and Dale noticed that he was very hard. Jeff started shaking his head viciously from side to side. "No! No! No!"
Pete began to laugh as Jeff climaxed. Then he slammed home over and over again, causing Jeff to scream. He finally came and held onto Jeff's hips tightly to bring himself back to earth.
"Good job...you really are a rainbow warrior." He pulled out of Jeff too quickly and pulled on his clothes. "Later butt boy..."
He walked out and started laughing with the others about how he had climaxed again. The comments about how he obviously enjoyed it carried into the bedroom and Dale knew that Jeff heard it because he turned his head away from the door and his body began to shake with silent sobs.
Dale heard the others leave and he walked out of the closet quietly. He walked into the front area and locked the door to the hauler. Then he headed back to the bedroom and knelt near Jeff's head. He wanted to touch him, but he was so worried that he'd scare him. Finally, he put his hand in Jeff's line of sight with his palm up to indicate that Jeff could take his hand if he wanted. "I'm not leaving you like this."
Jeff immediately began to sob and the strangled noises echoed throughout the hauler as he accepted the comfort of the son of the man who had been his hero once upon a time.
