a/n: this chapters pretty short but chapter three makes up for it

Billie opened the door seeing his wife sitting on the couch. She looked up at him and smiled. "Hey baby, awesome show." She held her arms out and Billie came over hugging her.
He pulled back seeing that concerned look on her face.
"Is something wrong honey?" She asked looking at Billie wierd.
"Not really...Just sort of got into it with Mike." Billie shrugged. "That's all..."
"Over what? You guys never fight." She said suddenly remembering that Billie had kissed him wildly on stage.
"Um...He was talking about not wanting to be in the band anymore." Billie said leaving it as nothing more than that.
"Oh? That's not like him. Come on baby spill it." She asked automatically assuming there was more to it than just simply that.
"That really is what it was. You can ask Tre. He seen the whole thing. The thud you probably heard earlier was him punching the wall. I thought he was gonna bust a hole clean through. He was just pissy as hell tonight. Maybe he got into it with his girlfriend..." Billie said scratching the back of his head.
"His...Girlfriend? Billie they busted up last month, remember? You were there!" Adie said giving Billie a slight smack on his forehead. "Duh, Billie."
"Oh fuck...Then I don't know. He's just pissy." Billie said laughing a little.
Adie cocked an eyebrow looking at Billie funny. "Or maybe he was pissed because of that kiss earlier? You know I seen you giving him tongue. He probably isn't gay so...He didn't like it. My guess is he was talking about not being in the band anymore because you kissed him and he doesn't want people thinking he's gay if it happens again. I know Mike well enough to know he's not gay." She said with a laugh.
"Um...Maybe..." Billie added nervously. "Yeah that's probably it..."
"Which by the way...Why did you kiss him anyways?" Adie asked curiously.
"Um..I dunno...I figured hell, I made out with Tre a while back. It's Mikey's turn! It seemed to me like he didn't mind it but...." Billie trailed off losing his thought.
"But?" She asked seeing Billie was still silent. "But what baby?"
"I dunno...Maybe he just didn't want to make a scene about it. I have no idea...I think I might as well just drop it. It's in the past...Fuck it. I'm going to bed." Billie got up and went into his bedroom stripping out of all but his boxers and crawling into bed, while Adie sat up for a bit watching the television and doing a lot of thinking before she made her way back to bed with Billie.
"You know Billie....If you and Mike...." She trailed off not even knowing if Billie was awake.
"Huh? If we what?" Billie asked rubbing his eyes and rolling over.
"Really do love each other...And you're afraid to say anything...It doesn't bother me. As long as you're happy, I don't care baby." She said shocking the hell out of Billie and kissing his cheek.
That whole night Billie felt strange laying in bed next to Adie. Almost as if he wished it was Mike instead laying next to him
