___________
You woke the next morning with a start at the feeling of being wrapped tightly in another person’s arms. A feeling you had not had since, well since the last time you had sex, which would be 5 years 6 months and 18 days ago; don’t you dare laugh at me.
As you looked up at the face of the man you were so intimately cuddled up with you couldn’t help but to smile at the mere sight of his beautiful face as he slept soundly. You thought, not for the first, you must be insane. You had not only brought two strangers into your home but you let one into your bed. Well if this is insanity you would be happy to be insane for the rest of your life.
You had never been as happy as you were in that moment, closely incased in the arms of this beautiful stranger that made you feel so alive. You felt bold as you leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. You were about to pull away when you felt his lips start to respond to the kiss, increasing its ferocity from the innocent morning hello to a full blown passion laced, adrenaline pumping, blood flowing make out session ending with a very awake Gerard and a very out of breath you. As Gerard pulled away he looked into your eyes muttering a husky “Well good morning to you too.” You couldn’t help but giggle at the smile on his face before giving him another peck on the lips and hopping out of the bed stating “We need pancakes.”
You made your way towards the kitchen. Passing a still sleeping Frank on the sofa. As you were in the midst of finishing to mix the batter you felt a warm pair of arms snake their way around your waist and pair of soft lips on your neck. You half whispered half moaned out “Blueberry or just plain buttermilk?” as Gerard kissed up and down your neck. You felt Gerard’s head rest on your shoulder in contemplation before he answered “Blueberry please.”
You once again giggled, you were becoming quite giggle whenever Gerard was around, at how polite he was for a man that got drunk in a mausoleum. You made a mental note to ask him sometime about why they had been drinking in there. But not yet because you didn’t want to ruin the mood if the explanation was too depressing and personal, as his statement and appearance last night signaled it would most likely be.
You moved to the refrigerator, after Gerard released you from his arms, to get the blueberries. Gerard went to wake up Frank, even though you told him to let him sleep, while you finished making the pancakes. After hearing muttered grumbling and a distinctive yelp, signaling Gerard had successfully woken up Frank, you shouted the location of the bathroom and clean towels if either of them wanted to take a shower before breakfast. One of them obviously did because a few minuets later you heard the shower going and the T.V being turned on.
As you finished putting the pancakes on a plate Gerard came back in, slightly damp, and asked if he could help set the table. You told him the location of everything while you got out the juice, syrup, and sugar for the coffee you knew you all needed. You shouted to Frank that breakfast was ready and not a second later he was in the kitchen at the table utensils in hand. You laughed at the smile on his face and his child like behavior. Once you and Gerard took your seat you all began eating. You thought that this was perfect time to get to know them, even though a saner you would have done that before you brought them home but that ship has sailed. You decided to start the conversation off with a very generalized “Well, tell me about yourselves?” Gerard and Frank looked at each other one with food in his mouth and the other with a fork half way there, you guess you could have timed the question a bit better.
