living in the Shadow of my Sorrow
Chapter Two
I stare stupidly at the ass infront of me.
It turns around and I end up staring at...ahem.
You get the point.
I feel my face flush in realization and my eyes travel hungrily up that lucious body to the face.
That wonderful flawless face.
Billy raises an eyebrow at me.
I smile innocently.
"Hey...hows it?"
I ask.
'Idiot!'
Some part of my head yells at me.
"Okay...I guess."
He says sitting in the booth across from me.
I look around suspiciously for a moment.
"Ummm...why are you sitting with me? I mean it's cool. Just wondering..."
I say.
"Nowhere to go, nuthin to do. You look like you just got thrown out of a car."
He said staring at me in puzzlement.
I look myself over.
I had gravel in my hair, my pamls were all cut up from the fall, and my shoes were scuffed.
I sighed.
"Yea, my mom just tossed me out cause I said I supported gay marrige in church."
Billy stared at me for a moment.
"Why'd you do that?"
"Cause I felt like it."
I said absentmindedly.
"So, if you felt like fucking me. Would you?"
He asked.
I stared at him for a minute.
Why the hell had he just asked me that?
"Ummm...If you wanted to, I guess. I'm not a rapist."
I said.
We really were getting off on a strange foot.
"Okay."
He said and stared out the window.
"What are you doing here anyways? Why arn't you with the guys, Benji and them?"
I asked my pancakes now forgotten.
I noticed Billy's eyes tear up when I said Benji's name.
"Oh god. It's Benji isn't it?"
I asked.
Billy whirled to stare me in the eyes.
"H-how..."
"I'm very smart. I notice things. Even the slightest glance."
I said.
Billy looked down at the table in silence, wiping a stray tear that fell.
"What'd he do?"
I asked.
"He..ummm..I....ummm...I caught...him with...with a girl."
Billy said coming back up to look at me.
I frowned.
"I feel your pain. Had an exgirlfriend who cheatd on my with a guy."
I said.
"You're...gay?"
Billy asked whispering the last word to me.
"Yea...whats wrong with that?"
I asked.
"Nothing! Just suprised thats all."
I cocked an eyebrow at him.
"I ummm..I have to go."
He said standing abruptly.
I stood too and he stopped as if afraid I was going to hurt him.
"If you need anything, come find me."
I said.
"How will I-"
I cut him off.
"Follow the screams."
I said.
Billy gave me a fearful look then left.
The waitress brought me my check and paid with what little money I could scrape from my wallet.
First things first, I need a job.
I glanced over at a bar called 'Kissing Coffins'.
I smirked.
Very promising.
