Trying to Escape the Nightmare
Chapter One
I would like to thank Row_Reilley for being my first reviewer! You make my heart go BOOM! Lol! Anyway, this chapter is kind of short, but seeing as the story itself is short, it's a pretty decent length. Hope you enjoy and I am already thinking about a sequel, as long as I get some more good reviews! Now then, on with the drama!!

The studio session went fine, and Silver got to listen to her cousin’s beautiful singing voice, and watch as Ryan masterminded playing the guitar riffs. There was something about his smile this morning that made her heart jump. He was doing an awful lot of it too. They had come up with a lot of lyrics, and most of the melodies and guitar parts by the time lunch rolled around.
Brendon hardly paid any attention to her, as per usual. She sat in a swivel chair, spinning around occasionally. When they were done, they went out to eat at a nearby French Restaurant. “So, Silver. I heard you are going to college this fall?” Ryan asked conversationally. Brendon made a disgusted noise and butted in.
“Yeah, College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Chump college.” Brendon scoffed. She glared at him.
“I’m going for Graphic Design major and a minor in Animation and Digital Media.” She said, blushing at Brendon. He was never very fond of her going off to college so far away. She was very fragile in his opinion. She needed nurturing. His phone began to scream at him and he jumped, answering it.
“Hello?”
“Brendon… I want you…” Some girl said on the other line very sexily. He licked his lips and bit them afterwards, glancing over at Ryan and Silver who were deep in conversation.
“I’ll be there in a few minutes.” He said, hanging the phone up. “Uh, Ryan? Could I get you to take Silv home? I have to go see Sammy. Something about her... dog.”
He nodded, brushing him off. Brendon left, leaving Silver to chatter on about her love for the Arts. Before they realized it, it was nearly dark out. They laughed about it the whole way home, wondering where the time went.
When they pulled into the driveway, Brendon came running out, a mad look in his eyes. “Where the fuck have you been? I’ve been trying to get a hold of you two the whole afternoon!”
“Brendon! Calm down, man. We just stayed in the restaurant and talked, Jesus, man!” Ryan explained.
“Whatever.” He said, walking away. Silver went inside, followed sheepishly by Ryan.
“Brendon, you need to quit sulking! Just because you had to go off and fuck your girlfriend doesn’t mean me and Ryan would ever do that!” Silver screamed at him, whipping him around. Ryan just stayed silent; he hated it when people fought. Especially Brendon. He got violent.
Brendon, not seeing Ryan standing there, turned to Silver quickly, gritting his teeth. “You have no right to yell at me.” He growled, backhanding her. She fell to the floor, touching her cheek. When she stood up, the room was silent.
“Fuck you.” She said, whirling around and going to her bedroom and locking the door. It was then Brendon had noticed Ryan standing there. He had seen the whole thing.
“Ryan! I…” Brendon started, a blush creeping up into his pale face.
“Shut up. No girl deserves to be hit by a guy. Especially not one that’s her own cousin.” Ryan said, leaving. Brendon sighed. He didn’t know what to do about this one.

Like I said, short. But it is sort of crucial to the plotline. Now then, down to business. You've read the story that singlehandedly changed your life, now go and click the beautiful blue words and leave me a nice review so I know that I did the right decision getting you people to read this. I'm not very popular I guess *sniff* oh well. But seriously, I would love to hear that this noob is doing semi-goodly. Please?
Anyway, until next time... I'm out in peaces.
