Stormy Dreams

"You guys, we're older now. We can't fangirl over them, that's unprofessional." Daphne said as she applied eyeliner.

Lizzie scoffed and straightened her hair to make it smoother and shiny looking, "We bought you a photoalbum and filled it with pictures of Ryan, Brendon, William, and Sisky for your birthday last year. Don't tell me that gift was a waste."

Daphne shook her head, "No, I mean... We can't creep out all the guys on Decaydance into thinking we just want to sex them up."

"I'm sure they'd like that," Dani said as she bent over. "Hold your breath," she commanded before spraying half her can of hairspray into her hair.

Daphne sighed and put on a plaid, conductor-style hat onto her head. "Please you guys, don't embarrass yourselves. I doubt they'd ever go out with any of us, anyways."

Lizzie closed zipped up her makeup bag, "Don't be a Debbie Downer."

Daphne frowned, "Please you guys?"

Lizzie rolled her eyes, "Alright, but if you get drunk later and start giving people lapdances, I'm going to rub it in your face in the morning."

She laughed, "I'll hold you to that."

The three got out of the bathroom and outside of the bus to see the three boys playing basket ball, "Evans fakes left, makes a right around Ross. It looks open and he shoots and..."

Brendon jumped up to block the ball from going into the hoop, "Rejected!"

Ryan panted and shook hands with Josh, "Nice." He looked over at the girls, "Brendon decided he was hungry, you girls dressed for lunch?"

The nodded, Dani muttering they she was dressed for anything which made Daphne look at her, disgusted, and have Lizzie crack up.

Brendon counted everyone and smiled, "Hey! It'll be like a date!"

"I casual date." Daphne snapped before the other two girls could comment.

Brendon shrugged, "Well, yeah..." He trailed off, before cheering happily, "Let's pick our dates!"

Dani ran to Brendon's side and Daphne groaned, "I'll go with Josh then."

Lizzie raised a brow at Daphne as she walked to Josh's side, "You sure?"

"Yup."

Brendon picked out a little chineese buffet with barely any people, Ryan thanked him for not picking McDonalds, like last time. The six rushed to fill their plates and Ryan and Lizzie were the first to return.

"Hey," he smiled up at her as she went to sit beside him. She smiled back a response which was immediately followed by a screech from Daphne.

"JOSH GIVE ME BACK MY HAT!" She yelled as he held her hat just slightly out of her reach, "Josh!"

He laughed, "Come on, Daph, jump a little!"

Lizzie laughed into her napkin, "Are they always like that?" Ryan asked her, leaning into her slightly to whisper.

She nodded, "They've had a love/hate relationship since middleschool. Josh loves her but she hates him, except when he stops paying attention to her, she starts to like him. Nasty little cycle, but it makes bus rides interesting."

Ryan laughed, "That's cute."

"That's sad," she corrected as Brendon returned to the table with Dani attatched to his arm.

"Then I had to dance infront of the whole school!" Brendon said as Dani laughed, he was telling the underwear story, a story Brendon told every girl. It was one big lie, but it was intertaining.

Dani grinned, "That was an amazing story, Bren."

He smiled, "Well, I try." She laughed again

Daphne finally arrived at the table with her hat back, she made sure to make a lot of noise while she was sitting down. Ryan couldn't help but notice how she always drew attention back to her. "Josh is an asshole."

He came up behind her and kissed her on the top of the head before taking a seat beside her, "That I am."

She looked at his in silence before shaking her head with a groan. "Don't even talk to me." She grumbled before eating some of her food.

Ryan looked over and Lizzie and she shrugged, "Love/Hate, what did I tell you?"

They got back to the bus later that day after Brendon attempted to learn how to speak chineese from the people owning the resturant. In that small space of time Brendon and Dani had declared themselves an unoffical couple, much to Daphne's dismay.

Ryan and Brendon walked to band back to their bus, Brendon and Dani seemed to be attatched at the lips, neither of them wanted to leave eachother's arms. Lizzie thought it was cute, Daphne thought it was a bad idea.

"So we're playing after you guys, right?" Daphne asked Ryan, the two having their first talk the whole trip.

He nodded, "Yeah, you go after us and then Fall Out Boy goes after you."

She nodded and looked at the other busses, "Yeah, I'm playing a solo in one of their songs."

"Me too. Are you playing the solo in The Takes Over?" He asked, he was playing a solo in that song too.

She nodded and then changed the subject. "It was nice of you guys to take us out, even though Dani and Brendon won't stay away from eachother now."

Ryan laughed, "Brendon's just happy to have a girlfriend."

"And Dani's just happy to kiss Brendon." She smiled at Ryan and shrugged, "Where were Spencer and Jon?"

He frowned, "No idea. Spencer was probably still asleep when we left and Jon didn't want to come. He said he had other things to do."

She frowned also, "That's too bad. I would've liked to meet them."

"Hey, we're on this tour for three months, I'm sure you'll meet them eventually." He said, putting a hand on her shoulder and giving it a light squeeze.

She smiled, "Yeah... Well, it was nice to meet you, Ryan. But, really we should go before Dani and Brendon start taking their clothes off."

They both left and she went with Lizzie into the bus. Josh played some basketball by himself while Ryan attempted to take Brendon off Dani by bitching at them.

"So what do you think of Less Than Three?" Brendon asked, wiping the lip gloss off his face and neck after he finally separated from his unoffical girlfriend.

Ryan shrugged, "Josh and Dani are weird, Daphne is nice when you're talking to her alone, Lizzie is the most normal out of the four."

"I don't think Dani is weird."

"Obviously, or else you wouldn't be trying to suck her tongue out of her mouth." Ryan joked.

Brendon shrugged, "You're just jealous that Lizzie doesn't like you."

He frowned, "I don't like Lizzie. I said she was normal, that doesn't mean I like her."

"Whatever, George." Brendon said as he walked into the bus, he turned around briefly to say, "I think you've been single for too long. It's about time you got a girlfriend."

And maybe, Ryan thought, that was true.
