Coffee? Are You Serious?

hope you guys are liking this. review review review. i want to know what you guys think

The sound of her alarm clock was dreaded, but it approached, ringing loudly. She sighed, hitting the silence button and getting up. She sat on the edge of her bed for a few minutes, running her hands through her short hair, yawning, and groaning. She didn’t want to go to work. But she had to. She rummaged through her dresser, finding her skinny jeans and her The Used t-shirt. She laced up her Anarchy converse that Brian had gotten her for her birthday last month. She looked at herself in the mirror, brushing her hair. She dropped the brush and walked out to the front door, driving to Reprise. She parked in her usual parking spot and turned the car off. She got out and sighed, the air hot. She twirled her keys in her hand and walked up to the building, crossing up the stairs and going inside.
“Hey Mikel.” Mikel looked up and smiled. “Hey Brandi. Brian wants to see you.” She nodded and walked strait to Brian’s office. She knocked twice, waiting for the signal to enter the office.
“Come in.” Brandi sighed when she heard it. He sounded upset, and Brandi could only imagine it had to do with what she did to Gerard Way yesterday. She grasped the handle and twisted it, opening the door slowly.
“You wanted to see me?” She froze when she walked in, Gerard sitting across from Brian, the back of his head towards her. Brian smiled and motioned her to sit next to him. Brandi bit her lip, grabbing the chair next to Gerard’s and pulling it a few feet from him and sat down. Her eyes didn’t leave Gerard, and she saw him smirk.
Brian smiled, grabbing some papers. “Alright Brandi.” He looked at the papers for a moment, reading a few lines. “It’s pretty obvious you want to do something other than deliver coffee in this building.”
Brandi bit her lip again. She was going to get fired. She glared at Gerard from the corner of her eyes, hating him in that moment. She looked back to Brian, who continued smiling.
He set the papers down and leaned back. “I’m sending you out on the road.” Brandi’s jaw literally dropped. She smiled. “Mikel said something about the Used going on tour aga….” Brian cut her off. Gerard giggled a bit. Brian shook his head slowly.
“You’re going to go on tour with MCR.” Brandi forgot how to breathe. She felt like she was hit with a ton of bricks to the chest and her rib cage was collapsing. Brian continued. “You’ll be out for three months. Around America and a few places in Europe.”
Brandi inhaled sharply, trying not to faint. How could this happen to her? She was already on poor terms with the pretty boy lead singer, and now she was going to be pretty much living with him and his band for three months.
She stuttered slowly. “I, uh, don’t know what to …thanks?” Brian laughed, even Gerard shaking from giggling. Brian waved a hand. “Gerard here told me about your little chat yesterday, and I couldn’t help but give you this.” He winked at her. “He is a good guy, and so is the rest of the band.”
Brandi ran her hand through her hair, trying to process everything, but failing. “When do I leave?” Brain smiled again. “You should probably go home and pack now.” Brandi’s jaw dropped again, this time she swear she heard it pop. “Okay….” She stood up slowly. “I’ll be back when I’m finished.” Brian nodded. “Cool.” Gerard glanced up at her, and she wished that she could shoot daggers at him with her glare.
His face was smug, like he had won the battle of all battles, and they hadn’t even really fought. But Brandi knew he had won. She opened the office door, stepping out into the hallway. She practically ran to her car, finally resting her head on the hot metal roof of her coupe. She heard footsteps and tilted her head slightly, looking up as Gerard walked towards her.
He was back to his boyish grin, but it was still somewhat smug. He leaned against her car and laughed. “How about that cup of coffee now?” Brandi rolled her eyes, grabbing her keys. “I’ll be right back.” Gerard smirked, stepping out of the way. Brandi stared at him for a moment, trying to interpret his stare. She finally rolled her window down, sighing heavily. “Are you serious about coffee?” His eyes widened in surprise, and then he nodded.
Brandi sighed, putting her hand over her eyes. “Get in then.” She didn’t look up as she heard scuffling of feet, or the passenger door open. Brandi felt sick because she was losing a sick mental battle this guy was playing with her. And he was really good at it.
