Chapter 2: Slammed into the Steel Steps

For the next few weeks Jessica and Hunter hid backstage talking to a few of their friends. They made sure they kept things very professional backstage which meant they couldn't act like asses and be themselves clinging to each other like they use to. They just made sure that they stayed next to each other and tried their best not to crack jokes until that Sunday at SummerSlam.

August 26, 2007 SummerSlam...

Hunter looked at Jessica. He had a small smile on his face. "Are you sure that you are ready for this storyline?"

"Yes I am Hunter. Remember I am Shawn's daughter. I am ready for anything." She said looking up at him her green bangs hanging in front of her baby blue eyes. "So King of Kings are you ready to show everyone that you are 100% and ready to return?"

"Hell yeah." Hunter said with a huge grin on his face.

"Ah good then." She said putting her hand on his shoulder. "Hey you're tense."

"Yeah my back is a little tense."

"Do you want me to give you a massage?"

Hunter nodded his head.

"Sit down Hunter."

Hunter sat down and Jessica got onto her knees and gave him a back massage. "Hey as long as you are ready for your match. Don't want you pulling a muscle."

"Are you sure you are fine with the storyline though Jessie?"

Jessica leaned over his shoulder. "What is written in the storyline. I just read the part that I was to come out there with you to your match."

"You didn't read the part that you were supposed to be thrown into the steel steps by Queen Sharmell and King Booker throws you into the steel steps as well."

Jessica's blue eyes went wide. "No not really. I really didn't read that part. That was supposed to be after the match was over?"

"Sharmell throws you into the steps during the match."

"Oh I read that part. I just didn't know that Booker was going to do that to me."

"Are you going to be fine with that?"

"I should be fine Hunter. Don't worry about it. Besides I have the King of Kings protecting me." She said with a smile on her face.

"Alright my shoulders are loose enough. Now we can head down towards the ring."

~Storyline~
*Backstage*

Hunter was fixing his boots up and he heard high heels clanking on the floor. He looked up and saw Jessica Michaels standing there. He smiled at her. "Hey there Jessie baby."

Jessica smiled. "Good to see you back Hunter." She put her arm around his shoulder. "You ready to put that asshole in his place tonight?"

"I will teach King Booker not to mess with any Kings on this brand."

"Good I was getting tired of his mouth."

"Besides you are very much my queen." He said kissing her on the cheek.

"Ah thanks Hunter."

*Ringside*

"That match is up next!" Said Jerry happily. "Hopefully The king of Kings the Game puts King Booker in his place and shuts him up."

King Booker's theme rang throughout the arena. "This match is scheduled for one fall making his way to the ring from Houston Texas accompanied by Queen Sharmell King Booker!" said Lilian's voice announcing the first king.

King Booker and Queen Sharmell came down to the ring. King booker removed his crown and his cape.

Triple H's theme rang throughout the arena. "And his opponent from Greenwich Connecticut accompanied to the ring by Jessica Michaels The Game Triple H!"

Hunter came out with Jessica right behind him. He gave Jessica a kiss on the forehead and got into the ring after spraying his water out of his mouth.

"Jessica Michaels looking as good as she always does. She still has that green hair JR." Said Jerry.

"She still is wearing DX colors because she is supporting them until her father comes back which still maybe some time." Said Jr.

The bell rang for the match to begin.

Jessica cheered Hunter on and saw that Sharmell was trying to get involved in the match. Jessica grabbed Sharmell by the hair and pulled her away from the ring because of the simple fact that she was going to try to pull Hunter's leg out from under him.

Sharmell shoved her right into the steel steps.

"That people was the sicken crack of Jessica Michaels hitting the steel steps real hard after being thrown by Queen Sharmell." Said JR.

Hunter got the pin. His theme rang though out the arena.

"Here is the winner Triple H!"

Hunter began to look around for Jessica only to see her get slammed into the steel steps again this time by King Booker. He quickly got out of the ring to check on her. "God Jessie." said Hunter. "Can we get some doctors down here!" He yelled.

The paramedics came running down towards the ring to check on her.

~End of storyline~
*Backstage*

Jessica slowly sat up on the stretcher. "God. Fuck that hurt."

Hunter held onto her hand. "Is she going to be alright?"

"She has to wear a neck brace for a while though. She hit her neck pretty hard off of the steel steps this time." said the paramedic.

Jessica let out a sigh. "Just great. Now I have to wear it tomorrow night." She looked at Hunter. "Looks like we are going to have one hell of a time tomorrow night."

"Well you get to have some fun in this storyling baby. You get to announce some of the women on the show tomorrow night for the possible mother of Vince's fake son."

Jessica laughed. "Well that is good. How about we go now. I am pretty tired now." She said yawning a little. Her phone began to go off. She picked it up and saw her dad's name flashing up on it. She answered it. "Hello?"

"Baby girl you took the steel steps pretty hard. Are you ok?"

"I am fine daddy. I just hurt my neck a little." Jessica simply stated.

"You didn't break it?"

"God daddy I don't know yet. I am just about to head to the hotel with Hunter so I could go and get some rest. The paramedic gave me some medicine for the pain and I want to make sure I am at the hotel before this starts to work."

"Alright. I will talk to you tomorrow night baby girl. Night."

"Night." She hung up her phone. "Alright. I am ready to go."

Hunter nodded his head. "Alright let's go."
