Its Too Much To Take It

"Doctor the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby's neck." Said the nurse as Mike walked into the delivery room.
Mike looked over at April, her expression showing pain. He walked over to her quickly. She looked up at him as he walked over to her.
"April, I'm here now." Said Mike as he grabbed her hand.
She cried out from the pain then looking up at the doctor. He left out a big sigh and looked up at her. He got his self ready and said "We have to get this
baby delivered or she's going to die." Said the doctor.
Tears began to form in April's eyes as she heard the monitor that was monitoring the baby's heart stop. She looked up at Mike as he looked at
the monitor seeing the straight green line run across the screen. The were no lines going up, it was just a straight line. There was a sudden beep
and there was a line going up. The baby's heart started up again.
"Ok April, we have to get this baby out now." Said the doctor.
April nodded her head and squeezed Mike's hand. She began to cry out as she pushed. April noticed the expression on the doctors face wasn't good
like something was going horribly wrong. She didn't have much time to think about why as she started to push again. Mike squeezed her hand and
said "Come on, Sweetie. Your doing fine."
April started to do the breathing that she had learned in her classes during giving birth. She leaned forward a bit pushing harder crying out louder.
She was still pushing when the heart monitor stopped again. The baby's heart stopped again. This was the second time it had stopped. Both
April and Mike began to worry about the baby. Would she have birth defects once she was born? Then there was the worst
question that stood out in April's mind the most, Would her daughter die before she was even born?
April felt tears fall down her cheeks thinking about Mike and her daughter dying before she was born.
'God, please don't let our baby die. Please?' Thought April.
She heard the doctor telling her to push again so she did. Finally, the baby's head had came out. One more push and April and Mike would know
if their baby was going to be alive or not.
April let her finally cry as she pushed even harder. The doctor pulled on the baby and she came out but the baby still wasn't breathing. The nurse
took the baby over to the table and began to give it CPR. There was a long period of silence from April and Mike. They listened to the nurses and
doctors talking all at once. Then April heard the nurse say something that was earth shattering.
"Doctor, we're tried CPR on the baby and its still not breathing." Said the nurse.
The doctors head shook sathenthen he looked up at the nurse and said "We've lost her. Date: March 19, 2002, at 3:09am. We are very sorry Mr. and Mrs. Shinoda."
April began to cry harder as she heard the words the doctor spoke. She had never felt so horrible in her life. Mike and hwn fwn flesh and blood died before she was
even born. April started to think why God let this happen to her.
Mike stood there staring off into on where. His first daughter had just died. He would never get to change her dippers, play with her when she would be a child, never
get to watch her go to her first day of school or get to watch her go to prom. None of that would happen. Mike felt like his heart had been ripped out and cut into pieces.
'Why does all this horrible things have to happen to us? Why?' Thought Mike.
"We're going to go and get you cleaned up and to a room so you can rest, Mrs. Shinoda." Said the doctor.
All April did was nodded still in shock. She felt Mike let go of her hand as a nurse lead him out of the room which April didn't really understand why they did that.
She shrugged it off as the nurses started to get her cleaned up.

*~*In the Hospital Room*~*

Mike sat in the room they had for April. She was still getting cleaned up as Mike sat down in the chair in the room. He let out a sigh then pulled his cell phone out to
call Chester. He dialed Chester's number and let in ring.
"Hello?" Said a familar voice.
"Hey Chester. Its Mike" Said Mike.
"Hey Mike! How are you?" Asked Chester.
"Eh, had better days. April went into labor this morning." Said Mike.
"Oh. Great. You don't sound too happy though." Said Chester.
Mike let another sigh trying to hold back the tears that were begining to sting his eyes. He staied silent for a few minutes until he heard Chester say something to him.
"Mike, did everything go ok? Mike?" Asked Chester.
"Uhhh..No Something did happen, Chester." Said Mike.
"What? Hold on me and Trish will be there in a few minutes." Said Chester.
Mike didn't get a chance to say anything as he heard Chester hang the phone up. Mike turned his phone off and shook his head.
"I don't think April is going to want any visitors right now..." Said Mike as he laid back a bit in the chair closing his eyes.
