Carrie's pov





The drive back to the house was excruciating for Carrie. She knew Kelly would be mad but she didn't know what her wife would do. This was the ultimate betrayal. She had been sneaking around behind her wife's back for over a week. The closer she got to the house the more she just wanted to turn the car around and go back to the studio till morning but she knew that would just make things worse with her wife.



As she pulled into the drive she noticed everyone's car was gone apart from Kelly's. She knew she was really in trouble, Kelly didn't want witnesses when she was ripping her head off. Carrie was glad Jeanne was gone though, she really didn't need the older woman standing behind her wife egging her on.



The house was in darkness when she entered, only the same light from their bedroom shone. She could hear Kelly move around inside, banging drawers shut. Taking a deep breath she open the door to see her wife pulling clothes out of the closet.



'Kelly.....' Carrie tried but Kelly held her hands up.



'Don't OK....I don't want to hear any lies that's about to come out your mouth....I don't want to hear any excuses.......you can't talk your way out of this......'



'If you would let me explain.......'



'I don't want you to explain......I don't need to hear it........' Kelly zipped up the bag in front of her before throwing it on the floor next to the others.



'I'm not letting you leave........'



'Jason has too my mother and Ashley out for ice cream.............You have an hour to pick up anything else you need.......' Kelly threw a piece of paper onto the bed. ' that's the details of the hotel you'll be staying at..........'



'Kelly....no look......' Carrie tried to reach out to her but she pulled away.



'Don't touch me......'



'Kelly....'



'I don't want you here......now I've booked you into a hotel in town.......so just get what you need and go.......'



'Your not even going to let me explain?........'



'I don't want to hear it..........You've been lying to me....spying on me.........I can't even look at you right now......' Carrie closed her eyes,she felt sick.



'I know ive done wrong and im sorry but please don't do this.......things have been getting better.....please don't push us back further..........'



'I'm not doing this....you are.......you lied.......' Kelly shouted. 'And I want you gone........' Carrie opened her eyes again hearing the bedroom door slam shut.





Kelly's pov.





Kelly stormed into Ashley's room as soon as she left Carrie. Jakob had stayed behind with Kelly to let everyone enjoy their ice cream. Kelly had told Jason what was going on and he quickly admitted to know what Carrie was up to. This annoyed her even more, her own brother was hiding secrets from her. Picking up Jakob she rocked the small baby in her arms, he seemed to be the only one in her life right now that wasn't causing her problems. Deep down she knew she shouldn't be so mad with Carrie, part of the blame landed on her. She went into the chat room looking for someone just like Carrie. And if the shoe was on the other foot would she tell Carrie right away or would she use it to her advantage.



In the middle of their date in the tree house Kelly was beginning to work out things in her head. It wasn't the first time she had said something to the stranger in chat and then have the exact same conversation with Carrie about it a few hours later.

Kelly's day was long filled with another round of fights with Clive. She couldn't understand why he was getting at her all the time, she was doing what he wanted. Her album would be finished when he asked for it. She smiled seeing Carrie's car in the drive, they had had another fight last night but soon made up this morning before she left.



'Carrie?......' Kelly covered her nose as soon as she entered the house. 'What is that smell?'



'Hey....your early.....'Carrie came from the kitchen covered in flour.



'Are you baking?....' Kelly tried not to laugh.



'I am.....'Carrie smiled proudly.



'And what did you kill?....'



'Nothing........im cooking you a pumpkin pie......' Kelly stopped in her tracks.



'Pumpkin pie?.........why would you do that?..........'



'It just popped into up head last night.........' Carrie shrugged.



'That's funny......i was talking to someone last night about pumpkin pie......' Kelly thought back to her chat the night before. She laughed to herself as she followed her wife into the kitchen.





End of flashback





Kelly should have known then, there was to many things making sense now. How she could easily tell a complete stranger how she felt, something she had been only doing with her wife. The guilt she felt thinking that she was cheating it turns out she was cheating with her own wife. It would be funny if it wasnt happening to her.



'Your aunt Kelly sure knows how to make life difficult.......' Kelly looked down at her nephew in her arms.



She stopped talking as she heard the stairs squeak, she prayed it was Carrie and not her mother. She didn't want her here to see Carrie leave.



'Kelly.........'Kelly sat on the bed as she heard Carrie voice on the other end of the door. ' Can I come in?......'



'Yea.......' Kelly whispered softly. She held on to Jakob, he would be her human shield from her wife.



'I put my bags in the car.......' Kelly simple nodded, she was yet to look up from Jakob's eyes. 'Are you sure you want me to go?......'



'Im sure ..........'



'So that's it?.....'Carrie's voice cracked as she spoke.



'I need to think.....and I can't do that with you here.......' Kelly's voice was cold.



'I can stay in the office if you want......i dont need to go into the bedroom......'



'Carrie the hotel room is booked.....'



'Kelly..please dont make me go......i'll do anything.......' Carrie's tears rolled down her cheeks.



'So go then....if you'll do anything go.......'



'Kelly please......' Carrie got on her knees in front of her wife.......please' She pulled Kelly's chin till the shorter blond was looking at her. ' please dont make me go......'



'Carrie......' Kelly stood moving away from Carrie, she knew if she looked into her eyes any longer she would break. 'I'll call you in a few days....'



'A few days?....carrie sighed. 'Kelly I cant cope a few days without me.......'



'And I can't cope with you here so leave......or I will and if I do I dont know if I will be back.......' Carrie stood up moving back in shock. Wiping the tears from her eyes she nodded, knowing she couldnt do any more.



'I'll wait for your call..........'



'Bye carrie.......' Kelly turned away pretending to be doing something with Jakob as she listened to her wife leave. She waited till she heard the front door close before letting out the sob she had been holding in. Trying her hardest not to cry she looked down at the baby in her arms. 'Guess it's just you and me now baby......'
