Wedding Bells Part 3

A/N: Okay ... the moment we've all been waiting for *squee* Thankie for your support readers *special hugs to Row, Rogue, and 'April' for hearing me out in my creative spurts. Also, a special thanks to Gin *hugs*.

---------------
The highly anticipated moment had come at last. Here, bride and groom were in separate rooms of the church, waiting for the ceremony to start. This was the moment where all nerves were highly strung, along with the notion that they just wanted the ceremony after with, after all the work they had endured to set this event up. With unbending patience, Ryan and Catrianna would be united in marriage at last.

"Ry! Are you alright in there?" Spencer called in, knocking on the bathroom door before opening it. Ryan had continued to show signs of nervousness, as he ran to the bathroom again. Ryan had been pale, resting his head on the toilet seat. "I can't do this...." Spencer bit his lower lip, not being comfortable seeing his friend as such a nervous wreck, but he was used to Ryan's nerves by now. He reached down, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Ry, you've been ready for this forever. You'll see it's nothing to be nervous about... Besides, I'm going to be standing there right beside you." Ryan drew in a deep breath, positive that his nerves wouldn't get the best of him again. As he had predicted to Cat the previous night, his nerves were hitting him full force that day. "Help me up?" he asked, pitifully holding up a hand so that his friend could help him up.

Spencer rolled his eyes, helping Ryan up. "For the love of God, Marriage is the easy part, I would think," he added with a wink. "Because then, you have to deal with the nagging wife for life to come." Ryan rolled his eyes at this remark. "Wow Spence, what a way to comfort. But yeah, no need to look apprehensive, I think this is it for now..." He swallowed nervously just as he had caught sight of the clock. Right now, the guys were due to assemble and take their places.

He turned his head, and found Spencer and Brendon at it again with the constant making out. "Hey now! I take my eyes off you guys for a second, and you guys are already at it like rabbits?" Brendon turned to Ryan and smirked. "Hey, if you want to join in the fun, all you have to do is ask." Ryan backed off shaking his head. "No way man, I think I'll pass." Spencer rolled his eyes, though snickered at Brendon's direction. "You known just how to get him to back off, don't you?" He leaned in to again engage in the passionate exchange of a kiss. "It worked, didn't it?" The two continued this exchange of a kiss, before the next mild prank ensued.

Pete had positioned the camera just right, for yet anonther youtube entry. So far, he had gotten the footage of Ryan running into the bathroom, closing the door behind him, to the footage of Spencer and Brendon exchanging their own affection. Jon had been the other mastermind in this endeavor.

So, Pete and Jon here, giving you some behind the scenes footage, just before Ryan's wedding. Here, we've found Ryan as a nervous wreck, and much more. And here's Jon, looking like he's seen something he'd rather not see. Jon, what's going on at your end?" Jon rolled his eyes, towards Spencer and Brendon, who now seemed to be laughing as Ryan looked like he might just back away slowly. "Oh, you know, the usual. Spence and Bren doing that thing they do." True, no one had quite revealed the secrets of Brendon and Spencer on youtube, given that yeah, that was their thing to reveal. Rather, Jon put his finger to his lips as he motioned for Pete to follow towards Ryan, who had been reading the writing inscribed in a note, clearly the wedding gift from Cat. He had rubbed his eye, as if he had something stuck in it, as Pete and Jon encountered him, wrapping arms around him. "Crying over what your true love has given you?" Pete asked, to which Ryan rolled his eyes. "Riiiight, whatever you say. Jon, what the---" Jon had gotten hold of the gift, a golden pocket watch, such the classical little keepsake. "Aww, he does have a classy lady, doesn't he?" Ryan made a swipe for the gift to which Jon dodged, opening the watch to read the inscription, batting his eyes as he read it in a girly British air. "To my dear Ryan on our wedding day... Looking foward for our eternity to come. Cat. 8/30/08." Pete laughed as Ryan swiped again, this time grabbing the jewelery, which he pocketed. "Ah yes, the wonders of love. Ry, care to wave at the camera?" Ryan looked up. "Huh, are you taping something?" Jon smirked as he pointed Ryan towards the nearby planted camera "Wave your bachelor years good bye Ry." Ryan rolled his eyes, though responded by repeating this past history of singing a certain selection of Motion City Soundtrack before waving people off as he ducked away.

"Alright guys, let's go," Spence called, motioning towards the direction of where the ceremony was to take place. He caught up to Ryan, putting an arm around him. "Don't worry Ry, live will only get better after this." Ry smiled and nodded. "Thanks Man, for being here I mean." Spencer shrugged. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Meanwhile...

Catrianna had been staring at the mirror for the last time, her heart fluttering beneath her chest as the anticipation within her rose. "Becca, what time is it?" she asked for what seemed like the millionth time. Becca glanced at the clock and shook her head. "Cat, relax, you've got roughly 20 minutes to go. But everything is running smoothly. We're in for a perfect evening- Oh wait let me get that, it's Patrick."

Rebecca dashed to her purse, where she heard her phone ringing, blushing slightly as she began talking on the phone with her own fiance, surely him giving her the recap of all that had been happening in the boys' end. As she had been talking to him, Viviana had ducked away from the line of fire between April and Ivy, who both were dashing to the bathroom as lingering bouts of morning sickness were hitting. Two pregnant women, one bathroom. Chaos would ensue if things didn't lessen here. It got to the point where she knew she'd have to hit up the pharmacy a block down. "Becca, how much do I have." Becca, who had just finished hanging up with Patrick looked at the clock. "Fifteen minutes why." Viviana grabbed her purse. "Pharmacy run, watch Angie will ya!"

Surprisingly, Viv was quick on heels, and even quicker behind the wheel. She had returned within ten minutes. "Okay April, Ivy, we got five minutes, but here you go, I got the pills that should get the two of you to quit spewing. Though, feel free to aim at your significant others if you feel sick after this." She handed them each two tablets, then a bottle of water. Once pills were downed, Cat looked at the clock herself. "Bloody hell!" Rebecca chuckled to herself, as Vivi went to deliver Angie to Bill, who had agreed to look after her during the ceremony. "Alright everyone, places!" the Maid of Honor called, to which each girl had taken their designated position.

The girls had lined up, and Cat was left in a room alone for a brief moment. This was when her Mother came to her, eyes shining brightly with tears. "Mum, have you been crying." The older woman paused, but eventually gave a watery smile. "Why shouldn't I? It's the wedding day of my baby girl." Catrianna truly portrayed the part of the blushing bride here. "Mum..." Jacqueline put a finger to her daughter's lips, silencing her. "This day is your day Catrianna. I do wish you much happiness in your marriage. Ryan is a fine young man." She embraced her daughter, though careful not to rumple either dress. Both women sniffled, to which Jonathan broke in, smiling at both wife and daughter. "Alright, I do believe that it is about time for me to escort this lovely lady down the aisle. I'll see you in a bit Jacqueline." He kissed his wife on the lips, to which Cat's mother blushed, not quite used to Cat seeing this affection between her parents. Cat giggled as her mother stepped away. "I'll see you there Jonathon." She returned the kiss, then scurried off.

"Daddy!" Catrianna squealed beneath her giggles, as both heard the music of Pachabel's Canon begin to play. "Ahh, there goes Rebecca, she's really a fine young lady." Jonathon squeezed his daughter's shoulder reassuringly as he watched Becca and Spence proceed down the aisle. "You've got quite some friends there Catrianna." Cat nodded, watching Ivy, then April, then Viviana make their ways down the aisle, escorted by Pete, Brendon, and Jon. "Not friends, family," she murmured with a smile, before the flower girl and ring bearer, the grandchildren of the woman who had taken it upon herself to see that all floral arrangements were flawless, made their way down the aisle.

That moment soon came where the father of the bride offered his arm to his daughter, who took it. "We're next," he whispered, to which Cat nodded. "You have long been ready for this Kitten," he told her to which Cat nodded again, her father and Ryan being the only ones to ever call her kitten. "I know...It's a big step though Daddy." Jonathon kissed his daughter in the cheek. "You know that if you ever need additional comfort, you've got your mother and I." Catrianna returned the kiss with one on his cheek and nodded. "I know...I suppose this is it, right?" Jonathan nodded, as the two waited for their cue. Once the beginning chords of the bridal march had hit, Cat and her father were well on their way.

Ryan about fainted on the spot as he saw Cat on the arm of her father's. She looked so radiant, so ..."Beautiful," he breathed, to which Spencer smiled, leaning into whisper in his ear. "I've got to admit, that's one pretty girl you're marrying," he murmured, to which Ryan swallowed, silently nodding. Soon, Cat and her father had reached Ryan, and the pastor stepped forward to begin the ceremony.

"If anyone present can find any reason on why this couple should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your piece."

Silence ensued. Of course, if anyone had any objection, they would probably be chased off by an angry mob. The pastor smiled at the young couple to be wed. "Very well, now who gives consent for this woman to marry this man?" Jonathan Sinclair spoke. "Her mother and I." With this, he took Catrianna's hand, and placed it into Ryan's. "Take good care of her," he whispered to which Ryan smiled, nodding. Of course he'd take good care of her, only the best. She meant everything in the world to him. Jonathan then took his seat by his wife, who had been already sniffling into a handkerchief. Taking her hand, he consoled her that all would be well.

Ryan turned to Cat, smiling as he squeezed her hand reassuringly. "You look beautiful," he whispered, to which the bride blushed yet again. "So do you," she whispered in response, squeezing his hand as well. The two young lovers could feel that mounting anticipation as the sermon continued. It was a most beautiful one, and again, Cat could feel the moisture forming along the corners of her eyes.

Just in proximity, Becca had already been dabbing the corners of her eyes, as it had been so surreal, seeing Cat and Ryan at the alter at last. It would be her next it seemed. Life really was unfolding quick for all of them. She cast a faint glance at Spencer, who had been thinking about how surreal it had been to see Ryan standing at the alter. Both exchanged smiles, turning their attention to the sermon when the pastor announced the time for the vows.

"Do you, George Ryan Ross, take Catrianna Marie Sinclair, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Ryan grinned at Cat, nodding as he spoke. "I do."

The pastor then turned to Cat, asking a similar question. "Do you, Catrianna Marie Sinclair, take George Ryan Ross, to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

The bride nodded, and then flickered a smile her voice breaking slightly as she spoke. "I do."

The pastor then looked up. "And now, the exchanging of rings. George, repeat after me." Ryan blushed, not quite used to being called by this name for extended periods of time. Then again, this was a special occasion that called for it. The pastor continued. "I George Ryan Ross, take you, Catrianna Marie Sinclair, to be my wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

Ryan repeated, the anticipation slowly fading as more confidence overcame any sense of nervousness. "I George Ryan Ross, take you, Catrianna Marie Sinclair, to be my wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

"Take this ring, as a symbol of my undying vow to our lifelong union." Ryan reached for the ring, which he slipped onto Cat's finger as his gaze met hers. "Take this ring, as a symbol of my undying vow to our lifelong union," he repeated, flashing Cat a warm smile. There, his part in the ceremony had mostly been done. Now, it was up to Cat.

"Catrianna, now, repeat after me." Cat nodded, the words forming in her mind just as the pastor spoke. "I Catrianna Marie Sinclair, take you, George Ryan Ross, to be my husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

Catrianna sniffled some, though she proceeded with the vow recitation, voice only breaking a tiny bit here. "I Catrianna Marie Sinclair, take you, George Ryan Ross, to be my husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part."

"Take this ring, as a symbol of my undying vow to our lifelong union." Catrianna reached for the ring, slipping it onto Ryan's finger, repeating the same line. "Take this ring, as a symbol of my undying vow to our lifelong union." She broke into a wide smile, tears trickling down her cheeks freely, as she had finished her vow.

"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce this man and woman husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Catrianna burst out laughing, as Ryan wraggled his eyebrows suggestively at this phrase, leaning towards her. Both kissed. Right when they kissed, wolf whistles and calls came from the wedding party. "Atta boy Ryan! Now think of the wedding night- PETE!" Pete shut up just as Ivy had curtly cut him off, giving him a warning look. Spencer and Brendon looked like they wanted to do some kissing of their own. April cast a small smile Gabe's way, who had seemed to have recovered from that moment of unconsciousness from when wedding photos had been taken. Will had been holding Angie on his lap, lifting her tiny arm to wave at Viv. This scene was most definitely a sight to behold full of such pure bliss all around. Soon, all congregated to shower the couple with birdseed, until they ducked into the limo which would whisk them off to the reception. The guests followed, knowing that the evening hadn't been over yet, that the reception would be the close to a perfect day.
