Chapter 2
When he arrived at Kane's door, his stomach turned. He loved Kane, with all his heart. But Kane was pissed at him for the whole mask ordeal. The party was to cheer him up. But knowing Kane, he might choke slam everyone. Robbie knocked softly.
"Kane? It's Rob. Can I come in?"
"NO!! Kane screamed. Rob teared up at Kane's angry voice. He looked around. 'Good no one's around.' he thought. He spoke to Kane through the door softly.
"Kane? Please. I know you're angry at me. But you don't need that damn mask!! You still have all your fans, you still have respect from all the responsible people on the roster. You still.... You still have my love." He said. He heard moving from inside the room. Kane opened the door and looked at RVD.
"Can you love someone that looks like this?! Can you look me in the eye and tell me you love me?!" He screamed at Rob. Rob looked him in his eyes.
"I love you Kane. With all my heart. Believe me. I love you." With that, RVD wrapped his arms around Kane and kissed his cheek softly. "Come with me Kane. Please?"
"...."
"Just for a little while. Please?" He begged as he kissed his other cheek.
"...Alright." He let RVD take him to the party room.
Inside
"Shh! Everyone they're coming!!" Mickey C yelled.
"Ready?" Stephanie asked.
"Ready!" They all cried.
Robbie opened the door to reveal a pitch black room. "Damn. Why the hell is it so dark in here?" Kane growled. Rob flicked the light switch.
"SURPRISE!!!" Everyone shouted. "Surprise honey." Rob whispered. Kane looked pissed. "Kane. We're trying to cheer you up. Don't be mad." Stacy cried.
"Yeah! We're your friends. We'd never want to hurt you. Come on. Have some fun!" Stephanie said. She bravely walked over to Kane and gave him a big hug. She smiled and the rest of the divas smiled too. Even Kane cracked a little smile. Who wouldn't?
"W "Well come on! The guest of honor's here, so let's party!" Shawn said.
Later
The party went smoothly. Taker and Kane talked for a while, and Kane looked happy even though he tried not to smile. Everyone danced, ate, drank beer, joned, drank beer, sang (or tried to), did I mention they drank beer. Falling down drunk, Stone Cold danced with all the divas including his wife, Debra.
They all seemed to be having a great time. That is, until Evolution walked in.
"Hey! You're throwing a party and you didn't invite the WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION? I'm shocked." Hunter gloated. Kane glared death at him. Hunter was about to say something smart when Mickey C and Trish stepped in.
"Hey! Hunter! How are ya? How's life treatin' ya?" Mickey broke in.
"Good." He said, staring at their breasts. "Very good."
"So, you guys wanna dance?" Trish asked innocently.
"Wha-?!" Mickey grunted when Trish elbowed her.
"As a matter of fact, I would love to dance with you Hunter." Mickey said when she noticed him glaring at Kane. "Sure. It's good being able to pick up beautiful young women like yourselves. It also helps when you don't look like you've been shoved through a blender." He said at Kane. Randy and Ric laughed. Kane turned around.
"Yea. I'm talkin' about y-" Mickey kissed him to shut him up. "Wow. That was... unexpected." He said. Mickey put on a fake smile. Kane walked towards Hunter, but Stephanie, Lynn, Lita and Ivory went up to him.
"Hey Kane. Come dance with us." Ivory chimed. Steph grabbed his hand. "It's even easier to pick up women when you're not being a jack-ass." Steph said loud enough for Hunter to hear. He turned toward her and said, "Well, even a jack-ass can pick up a whore." Everyone 'oohed'.
"Oh?" Steph said. "What kind of jack-ass would want to pick you up?" She said to him smiling.
"Get 'em!!" Shawn and Scott Steiner said in unison. Mickey started 'whooping' and walked over to Edge.
"Psst. Kane. Jone on Hunter! This is your chance!" Edge whispered. RVD gave Kane the 'Don't do it!' motions, but Kane had already started to say, "Heyter?ter? Why don't you stop acting like you're straight and flirting with women, and start giving your two boyfriends over there some attention?" Everyone stared at Kane and burst out in laughter.
"You can't talk Kane. Why don't you give your boyfriend a nice big smooch in front of everyone? Or does he not love you after seeing that face?" He said. Everyone was silent. Kane growled and walked out the door. Robbie followed him. "Bastard!" He called to Hunter.
