NB-3-The Party
Hakuei ran swiftly down the hallway, bare feet pounding across the smooth wooden floor, ducking into his room.
"Kirito just called," Yoshiki yelled up the stairway. "He's got his hands full so his brother's coming to pick you up."
Hakuei peeked his head out into the hallway. "Uumm... ok..."
"His name's Tsukasa. Don't worry, he's a nice young man."
Hakuei nodded absently and disapear again. He dug through his dufflebag for a black t-shirt, an old favorite tour concert shirt, when he heard the downstairs door open and voices greeting each other. He took one last look in the mirror, slipped on his shoes and headed downstairs.
Two men sat at one of the tables conversing quietly. His father was on the right, but the man with has back to him he did not recignise. His father looked up and the other man man turned around. Hakuei's steps faltered slightly as the young man stood. For a moment they stood there, staring at each other, then the slightly shorter man smiled.
"I'm Tsukasa," he said quietly, extending his hand, "Kirito's brother."
Hakuei shook the offered hand and grinned, his eyes studying the long, sharp face partially hidden behind long, thick hair, streaks of gold parting the inky black.
"Are you ready to go?"
Hakuei cleared his throat. "Yes, I'm sorry if I kept you waiting." He smoothed out his own thick, somewhat unruly hair. "I've been sleeping most of the day, though somehow I'm still tired."
The shorter man chuckled. "Quite understandable. I made the trip once, a few years ago for school, and it was hell on my system." They waved goodbye to Yoshiki and headed outside.
The climbed into an old, white Honda parked at the curb and Tsukasa started up the engine. "Honestly, Kirito's house is close enough to walk to, but I figured you'ld rather ride just yet."
Hakuei smiled. "Thanks. I got plenty of sleep, like I said, but who knows how I'll be doing later."
They pulled away, turning left at the street. Indeed, they didn't have far to go, only to the end of the block and around the corner. Tsukasa pulled into a short driveway already littered with a couple of cars and shut off the engine infront of a decent sized, two-story house. All the lights were on upstairs, and as they exited the car, they could hear music escaping the closed windows. Hakuei followed the other man around to the side of the house where a steep set of stairs had been mounted to the side of the house, taking them straight up to the second floor door.
"Kirito, Bou and Toshiya rent the whole second floor." Tsukasa said over his shoulder. "But don't worry. The older couple they rent from travel alot and are rarely home." He smiled and opened the door, bright lights and loud music greeting them.
Several people milled about the main room, talking and laughing over the noisey stereo. Hakuei recignised one of them, but the other two he did not. Bou spotted them and bounced over, smiling brightly, blue-jean skirt dancing just above his knobby knees.
"Hakuei!" he cried and hugged the surprised man. "Glad you could make it! Did you get enough sleep?"
The taller man chuckled and patted the blonde's head. "I'm still a bit tired, but I'l be fine."
Bou danced in his platform sandles. "Good!" He grabbed Hakuei by the hand and practically dragged him towards the other two men in the room, Tsukasa following quietly behind.
"Let me introduce you to our other roommate, Toshiya," the taller man grinned and bowed, "and his best friend, Hideto." The shorter man smiled, his dark eyes dancing mischeviously. As he bowed his head, he noticed odd, bright pink strands of hair peaking out from under his big floppy hat.
"You must be Yo-sama's son." Toshiya smiled sweetly, revealing crooked teeth.
"Yes. I'll be living with him above the bar until I find a place of my own."
Hide nodded. "This is a nice town, a nice place to live. Especially if you plan to attend college."
"I hope to as soon as I can get my transcripts, or just wait until next semester." Hakuei looked around. "You have a very nice house."
"Would you like a quick tour?" Toshiya asked. Hakuei nodded and started to follow when someone caught his arm. Hakuei turned around and Tsukasa let go.
"I'm going to tell Kirito we're here." he said, leaning close to be heard over the music. "If you need anything.. just let me know, ok?"
The taller man nodded. "Thank you." Tsukasa just smiled slightly and headed towards what looked like the kitchen. Hakuei starred after him a moment, then caught up with the other two.
"As you can see, this is the living room," Toshiya gestured dramatically. "Over that way is a small kitchen. Everything else is down this hallway." He led them off to the left. The first door they came to was closed. He opened it and stepped inside.
Hakuei's eyes went wide in awe. "This is... wow..."
The room was not large, but it was stuffed to capacity with musical instruments of all shapes and sizes. Everything form electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, a violin, two basses, several handheld percussions and a full drumset sat in the far corner.
"Who owns all of these?"
The two men grinned. "Various people." Toshiya said. "The basses are mine, the guitars belong to Bou, Kirito and Rose. Techinically, the drumset is Tsukasa's, but Rose has been playing it more often while he's been in school."
Hakuei sat down behind the set, skillfully twirling a stick between long, deft fingers. "I love to sing, but drumming has become a passion of mine as well."
"So we heard," Hide said, and Toshiya poked him in the ribs. Hakuei threw them a questioning glance, but the two men just smiled and the older man let it go. He stood, with some reluctance and turned to Toshiya.
"Would you mind showing me to the nearest restroom?"
"Sure." He set the bass down he'd been fiddling with and led them out of the room. "I think someone's using the smaller one, but you can use the master bath back there." He pointed further down the hall. Hakuei nodded his thanks and headed down the hall.
Hide turned to his companion. "Have you seen Rose or Kiyoharu lately? I swear they are around here somewhere, but it's been awhile since I've heard their voices, and that worries me a little."
Toshiya shrugged. "I'm sure they'll turn up soon enough."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He pulled the man into the back master bedroom, practically running across the carpeted expanse and shoved him into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. Without a word he pulled the other man close, hands diving into thick, bleached hair. He smashed their faces together viciously, tongue forcing the other's mouth open as their lips met.
Rose grinned as the older man attacked him, hands groping, teeth biting his full lips, then moving hungrily down his jaw. He loved to work the other into such a frenzy that they resorted to tearing into each other in the most interesting of places, and he had been sure this outfit would drive him wild. He ran his hands down Kiyoharu's body, eyes rolling back as the shorter man sucked hard on his neck, a particularly sensitive part of him. Moaning and distracted, his hands faultered at his lover's waistband, unable to work the belt buckle. Kiyoharu growled, sending chills of excitement down Rose's spine, and batted the younger man's hands away. He removed a small object from his pocket, then hastilly worked to remove his belt and pants, after a moment turning his attention to the other man's clothing.
Kicking the useless garments away, Kiyoharu grabbed the younger man, helping him up onto the smooth cabinet surface. Rose wrapped his thin legs around his torso, burrying his face in the older man's neck. He felt Kiyoharu fumble with the cap of the tiny bottle of lube he always seemed to carry around, then eager fingers probing at his entrance. He closed his eyes and gently blew warm air into the man's ear, feeling him shiver. Hands working faster now, Kiyoharu rubbed some of the gel on himself, gripped Rose by the hips and rammed himsef upwards, pushing past the tight ring of muscle in one thrust.
Rose gasped, head thrown back as the older man started moving immediatly. He screwed his eyes shut, mind focusing on the pleasure starting to overtake the pain as Kiyoharu angled his thrusts just for him. He wrapped his arms around the taller man's sweaty neck, trying to suppress the moans bubbling in his throat.
"Let me... hear your voice," Kiyoharu breathed in his ear, kissing his flushed face.
"Baka!" Rose hissed, nearly biting his tongue. "Someone will hear us!"
Kiyoharu rammed ito the beautiful drummer, forcing a raw, deep throated cry from him. "Music's too loud, no one will know." He gripped the man tighter, lifting him up off the counter. He sidestepped twice, then slammed him into the tiled wall. Rose grunted, his head hitting the unforgiving wall, the cold tiles slick against his skin as the vocalist thrust deeper into him. His fingers ground into his shoulders as sparks exploded before his eyes, his mind swirling out of control. Suddenly, he arched his back off the wall, mouth wide and gasping as he came hard between their bodies.
Rose's body, racked in orgasm, sent Kiyoharu clear over the edge. A breathless moan pushed through his lips as he thrust twice more and he too came, deep inside the drummer.
Legs shaky, he eased them to the soft mats covering the cold bathroom floor, slumping exhaused against the other man.
Rose ran one hand through the older man's tangled hair, chin resting on his forehead. "We are such whores, you and I."
"Speak for yourself." Kiyoharu mumbled, lazily rubbing the drummer's collarbone. "I certainly never saw any money."
Rose untangled his long limbs from the others and stood, reaching down a hand to help the man to his feet. "Maybe its time I should start charging you," he murmered, lusty eyes still glazed in euphoria, "as often as you want to fuck me."
Kiyoharu pulled him close, hands trailing down Rose's non-existant ass, mouth claiming his once more. "You want it as much as I do." he murmered, then stepped back, grabbing his discarded pants from the floor and pulling them on. "Do you think they've noticed we've been missing?"
The blonde opened his mouth to reply, when there came a knock on the door. Rose's hands flew to his mouth, stiffling a laugh as Kiyoharu called out that it was occupied.
Rose giggled as he stepped into his pants. He addressed himself in the mirror, running black painted nails through his tossled hair and adjusted his shirt. He fished in his pocket for a tube of lipgloss, applying the strawberry scented jell across swollen lips.
"Sometimes I think you're more like a girl than Bou is."
Rose met the vocalist's eyes in the mirror and smiled. "You know you love it."
Kiyoharu rolled his eyes, but couldn't help the slight smile on his face. "We better get back."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hakuei sat on the bed and crossed his legs. He idley fingered the suade laces on his favorite pair of jeans, longing for a smoke. Just as he was about to give up and see if the other bathroom was still in use, the door swung open. Hakuei looked up and was met with the flushed faces of two very similar looking, bleached blonde men.
The all stared at each other a moment, no one sure as to what to say. Finally, Rose pushed past the shorter men, head tilted down, eyes peering innocently through the blonde fringe obscuring half his face. "It's all yours." He murmered and hurried out of the room. Kiyoharu grinned and jogged after the lippy drummer.
Hakuei stared after them a moment, easily guessing who they had to be, and what they were doing in that bathroom, then shook his head. With a weary chuckle, he locked himself in the bathroom.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hakuei returned to the main room, shaking his head in amusement. The music had been turned down, thankfully, and more people had arrived, or at least shown their faces. Tsukasa caught his eye from the kitchen and waved him over.
"I'd like you to meet two of our good friends." he said, indicating the handsome men Hakuei had run into coming out of the bathroom. "Kiyoharu," the shorter, tatooed man nodded, "and Rose." The tall, pretty man smiled at him, fake blue eyes regarding him intently. "Guys, this is Hakuei, Yoshiki's son."
"Ah, now I remember," Rose murmered, thin arms crossing over the white lacey shirt he wore. "They told me you were coming to Japan soon."
"Yes, I-" Hakuei looked down as another, much shorter blonde bounded to his side.
"These are the two I was telling you about." Bou said. "Can you see it? If your hair was like theirs, we'de have a hard time telling all of you apart!"
Rose took a couple of steps towards the other tall man, chin low, a seductive curve to his full lips. "Yes.. I see it now." He slowly circled Hakuei, delicate features suddenly looking quite preditory. "As soon as I saw you, something was nagging me, but I just couldn't put my finger on it." The younger man stopped, one hand resting lightly on Hakuei's arm.
Kiyoharu cleared his throat and pulled Rose back a step. "He's right. I wouldn't go dying your hair any lighter than it is already."
Rose's eyes twinkled. "Unless you want me to mistake you for Kiyoharu." he pursed his lips. "Then by all means..."
The front door opened and Tsukasa grabbed Hakuei by the arm. "Ah, look! Kisaki's back with the food. Let's go help him, shall we?" With a polite nod to the others, he dragged the taller man away.
Bou stared after them, a slightly shocked expression on his face.
"What's gotten into Tsukasa?" Rose asked.
Bou only shook his head. "I don't know...."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hakuei scratched his head and chuckled. "I think I was being mentally raped back there."
"I suppose I should have warned you about Rsose." Tsukasa slowed, casting the other man a sheepish grin. "They both have steady girlfriends, but it's held as common knowledge that they also share each other's beds on a regular basis. They seem to get off on how much they look alike, and when I realized that Rose was starting to look at you like his next meal, if you know what I mean, well...."
"Thanks." Hakuei squeezed his arm. "I think I do. I had to use the back bathroom just a bit ago, and ran into them as they were coming out of the bathroom together.. I'm fairly certain they weren't in their just to talk."
Tsukasa sook his head as they crossed the large room. Kirito and another tall, red-headed man stood in the doorway, arms fully laden with overflowingm of food. Hakuei and Tsukasa each took a bag from them and returned to the now vacant kitchen.
"Ah, arigatou." the red-head said, then turned to Kirito. "Christ, how hungry do you think everyone is?"
Kirito smiled and began unpacking the cartons and bowls, arranging them on plasctic trays. "Quit whining for a minute and say hello to Yo-sama's son, Hakuei. Hakuei, meet Kisaki."
"Oh, right!" Kisaki said. "I rememebr Yo-sama mentioning you." He stuck out his hand. "How are you enjoying Japan?" he asked in excellent, though accented, English.
Hakuei blinked in surprise, then shook the offered hand. "I only arrived yesterday," he answered in kind, "but so far it's been good."
Kirito pulled out a stack of plates from thre cabinet above him. "We all took english in highschool," he said, switching the language back to their native tongue, "but Kisaki has made it a point to learn English more indepth. In fact," he glanced at his little brother, "so has Tsukasa."
Hakuei turned to the younger man. "Really?"
Kirito threw an arm over Tsukasa's shoulders. "I'm almost surprised he didn't tell you." he smirked slightly. "Almost."
"Ah, well, I don't think my english is anything to brag about," he younger man mumbled. "At least, not as god as Kisaki's anyway."
His classmate laughed. "We've been in the same exact classes for several years now. I know your english is good."
Tsukasa tried to frown, but the corners of his mouth refused to override the slight smile spreading across his face. With a snort he busied himself with gathering chopsticks and napkins. "Kisaki-san, will you please tell the others that the foods about ready?" his grinning friend nodded spun away as the younger man turned to his brother. "We're eating outside, right?" They gathered the food and utensils and followed Tsukasa in silence.
He led them through a door off the kitchen that led to a staircase down to the ground floor. They found themselves in a breezeway between the outer door and a much bigger kitchen. Tsukasa opened the outside door and stepped through. The yard was smallish though well cared for, surrounded by a tall privacy fence and thick evergreens. They stood on a small porch, with a tiny bird path to one side and a picnic table directly ahead.
They unloaded their burdens onto the table and began passing out plates as the others joined them outside. Two girls, identical in every way, came sauntering into the yard, thin arms entwined around Rose and Kiyoharu. One girl giggled, a high pitched, vastly irritating squeel, and Rose shot the other blonde a glance, one that Hakuei took to be severe annoyance. Kiyoharu sighed heavily, then shrugged his shoulders. Hakuei chuckled and opened the first soup container.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hakuei blinked several times, shaking his head, trying to clear away the exhaustion quickly taking over his body. He felt the couch shift slightly as someone sat down beside him.
"Tired?" Rose asked softly. Leaning close, he plucked the half full cup of sake from Hakuei's hand and set it on the coffee table.
"A bit, yes." Hakuei replied, eyeing the blonde wearily.
"I can drive you home," Rose purred, his vice low and inviting, "or, if you wish, my place is just around the cor-"
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Hakuei," Tsukasa said, "Are you ready to go?"
Both men looked up at the young man suddenly standing over them; one relieved, the other clearly annoyed. Hakuei stood quickly, reaching forward and squeezing the shorter man's arm briefly.
"Yes, I believe I am." He turned, looking down at the other man still seated on the couch, amused at the unhappy frown on his face. "Goodnight, Rose."
"Oyasumi." He grumbled, forcing a smile as the two left.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two others watched the pair leave, exchanging surprised glances.
"Do you think .. maybe..?" the shorter one whispered.
Kirito shrugged his shoulders. "It's been a long enough time." Bou shot him a narrow look and he quickly clarified. "Not that I'm trivializing what happened to him, but, well, he shouldn't shut himself off from others like he has been. I'm just a little.. surprised.. that he would, now.."
"Well, I think it's wonderful." Bou said, jutting his jaw out in defience. "I don't really undestand what he's sees so special in him in particular, but..."
"Maybe he's reminded of Tora."
"But wouldn't that be bad??" Bou sighed. "I supposed I can see it, maybe. Hakuei certainly seems to have a similar personality, though they look nothing alike." he grinned. "But I really like him. I think he'd be really good for Tsukasa."
Kisito shrugged again. "Whatever. If this man can bring him out... make him more like he used to be," he looked down at the other man, "who are we to question it?"
Bou smiled and curled his arms around the other's waist, leaning his head against his chest. Kirito patted his head, his eyes following the two men walking past.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tsukasa and Hakuei walked quickly through the living room, waving goodbyes as they passed. Once they were safely outside and in Tsukasa's car, Hakuei turned to the other man.
"Thanks for saving me back there. Again."
The younger man chuckled as he carefully backed out of the driveway. "Don't worry about it. Rose can be a bit difficult to fend off once he's set his eyes on someone, but I'm sure he'll get the hint soon enough. That is, unless you want..."
"Oh, no, that's ok!" Hakuei said. "He's definatly not my type."
Tsukasa shot him a quick glance, but said nothing. After a moment, he cleared his throat.
"So.. what is your type?"
Hakuei's brow furrowed. "Oh, I don't know.... I'm really not... uh...." he flushed slightly, making Tsukasa chuckle as he pulled up to the bar.
"Thank you for the ride." Hakuei mumbled, rubbing his eyes. "I'm sorry I had to ditch so early, but I guess the flight took more out of me than I realized."
Tsukasa shrugged. "Your body will adjust eventually. Just get plenty of rest and you'll be fine." He smiled, slightly shy, but something about it made Hakuei's heart skip a beat. "Really, though, if you ever need a ride, anywhere, just gve me a call. You're father has my number."
Hakuei nodded and climbed out, waving as the car drove away. He watched the point the car disapeared around the corner for several moments after he could no longer see it. With a sigh, he turned and let himself in.
"Kirito just called," Yoshiki yelled up the stairway. "He's got his hands full so his brother's coming to pick you up."
Hakuei peeked his head out into the hallway. "Uumm... ok..."
