Chapter Three

So yeah. I am totally almost done with this story! I'm kind of iffy about the ending.. it's a little corny in my opinion... but y'all may like it! Anyway, this is one of my favorite chapters! And so is chapter four, so maybe if I get enough reviews... I'll put that up later today *hint hint* lol. Anyway! On with the drama!

Silver stood up, trying to scream. He didn’t wait for her. She came here in vain. Nothing was here for her. “But he… I…” She stuttered, feeling her heart break. She may not have been in love with the guy back then, but he lied to her. She figured things out while she was away.

“Silver, he met a girl. You can’t help who you fall in love with.” He said, trying to calm her down. Silver breathed and instantly, she was fine.

“Thank you for telling me so he wouldn’t seduce me into telling him something I might have.” She said, walking into the room that was hers. It would always be hers, no matter what.

She through her stuff down onto the bed and walked to the guest bedroom, seeing Spencer talking to the twins. She went back into the living room and sat down, listening to Brendon make something in the kitchen, singing Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins. She smiled faintly and leaned into the back of the couch. He seemed to have changed, personality wise. She liked this new Brendon.

He sat down next to her, sitting a drink on the table in front of her. She took a couple pills from her pocket and gulped them down and drank deeply. She sputtered, tasting rum.

“What were those?” He asked, taking a drink.

“Tylenol.” She responded, clutching her throat.

“Liar.” He accused. She looked at him and knew he saw right through her now. “Pill popper.”

“Don’t tell anyone and I promise to quit.” She said like it was an everyday thing.

“Whatever. You’re an adult now. No one can tell you what to do.” He shrugged.

“Oh, so I’m sure you’ve had your fair share of naughtiness?” She asked, laughing. He nodded guiltily. There was a knock on the door and Brendon answered it.

Silver looked around and took another greedy gulp of Brendon’s drink. She sat it back down, but before she could, someone caught her.

“Silver Miller, drinking Brendon’s alcoholic drinks now are we?” He asked. Her eyes widened and she jumped over the back of the couch, squeezing the life out of J-Walk. He coughed and she got off of him, helping him up. “Your hair looks great, though I could always tell if it was you!”

She blushed and smiled when Brendon walked in. Jon raised his eyebrows and glanced at Brendon, and Silver shook her head no. Jon smiled and struck up conversation.

“How’s school?”

“Fine. I’m getting all A’s.”

“That’s good, any particular part you like?” Jon asked interestedly. She nodded.

“I really like Fashion Photography. It’s fun.”

“That’s cool. One of my old friends was into photography for a couple years. He sucked at it, I just didn’t have the heart to tell him.” Jon joked. She laughed, putting her hand on his knee for a second. He smiled and Blair, Clair and Spencer walked in looking a little roughed up.

“They are Clair and Blair.” She said, pointing them out. They waved. “Jon Walker.”

“Hey there.” Jon said, winking. They smiled, flashing grins at Spencer who seemed out of it. Silver laughed. They always had a thing for the same guy at the same time. Spencer was the next lucky-yet-not-lucky-at-the-same-time guy. He was going to be going on a roller coaster from hell with the twins.

When the door opened a third time, Silver already knew who it was going to be. She closed her eyes and breathed in and out slowly, knowing a few people were watching her. “Hey guys.” Yawned a familiar voice. Silver bit her lip as he sat down next to her without even knowing who she was. She moved away towards Brendon. “Who are all of these girls?”

Silver looked over at him and smiled a little. His eyes widened and his mouth hung open. “S-Silver? I d-didn’t know you’d be here.” He said slowly.

“Surprise.” She said lightly, looking down.
