Chapter 2
~~~
It was going to be a bad day. Tony knew this as soon as he accidentally walked in on a completely naked Woo Hyuk in the bathroom. With a mumbled apology, Tony backed out of the room and into his own bedroom, where he collapsed onto the bed, pushing the pillow to his crotch with an angsty groan of frustration. "Fuck," he muttered, wishing he could control these thoughts, that for just one day he could choose who he was and was not attracted to. Why did it have to be Woo Hyuk? Tony rolled onto his back. Woo Hyuk was going to notice something if he kept acting like this.
"You okay, Monkey?" Woo Hyuk asked, glancing into Tony's bedroom, having dressed before coming after his friend.
Tony turned his gaze toward his bedroom door. Though he knew Woo Hyuk stood there completely clothed, his mind chose to project a naked image of Woo Hyuk instead. "Yeah," Tony answered weakly, trying to keep his reaction calm. He turned his gaze away from Woo Hyuk.
"You ran out of the bathroom like I lit you on fire," Woo Hyuk continued. Putting on a sly grin, he sauntered closer to the bed. Huskily, he added, "I didn't realise I was that undesirable, Seung Ho."
Tony continued gazing at the ceiling. "Sorry about walking in on you," he replied evenly.
Woo Hyuk cocked his head to one side, confused about Tony's lack of jest. Normally Tony was really into playing around. "Tony?" he asked gently, realising something must be wrong.
Woo Hyuk's sudden change of voice prompted Tony to turn his head to look at him. "Yeah?"
Woo Hyuk sat on the edge of the bed. "You okay, Tony?"
Tony sat up and loosely wrapped his arms around his legs, laying his head on his knees, head turned to look at Woo Hyuk. 'Perfect opportunity,' he told himself. 'Get it off your chest, for once and for all. Tell him. Tell him!' Tony smiled. "I'm fine, Hyuk-ah. Just... didn't sleep well last night. Nightmares." 'Perfect, Seung Ho. Great. Way to tell him.'
Woo Hyuk gently pushed Tony's leg, playfully whining, "Then why weren't you playing along?"
Tony breathed a short laugh. "Woo Hyuk-ah," he played along, "of course I find you desirable... I just didn't know if you felt the same..."
Woo Hyuk unwrapped Tony's arms from around his legs and pulled the man onto his lap, holding his hands securely. "A delicious little morsel like you? Of course I do." With a laugh, Woo Hyuk placed a soft kiss to Tony's cheek. "Now accompany me to lunch today, or I shall be heartbroken forever."
"Oh, what a tragic existence you shall suffer, my pet, for I fear I cannot go."
Woo Hyuk dropped Tony's hands, becoming serious. "Why not?"
Tony shrugged. "I'm already going out with Hee Jun today. Didn't I tell you?"
"No," Woo Hyuk said, his surprise written all over his face. With a passive shrug, he added, "Well, why should it matter to me? As long as I can steal you away from him long enough to take you to dinner."
"That depends on where we're going," Tony said, feigning discomfort in order to press himself closer to Woo Hyuk. "You're not exactly known for your great restaurant choices."
"I figured we could just go to Dirty Steve's."
Tony smiled and nodded. "I love Dirty Steve's."
~~~
"I didn't know how to tell you, but I knew I needed to tell someone."
Hee Jun stirred his coffee, watching the white cream integrate itself into the dark liquid surrounding.
"I feel... I feel like this secret is softly killing me, slowly ending me. I feel like I can't even look in your direction anymore."
Hee Jun sighed softly under his breath, staring intently at his mug of coffee.
"It's hard... it's hard to say this out loud, even now... Hee Jun..."
Hee Jun brought the mug to his lips, saying nothing as the voice paused. He gently sipped his hot coffee and placed the cup back onto the table top.
"Hee Jun... I love you."
His hand darted out and hit the "stop" button. Slowly, Hee Jun's hand slid across the small, metal object and pressed "rewind". Small wheels spun quickly and Hee Jun watched them lazily. After a moment, he again hit "stop", then "play".
"-knew I needed to tell someone. I feel... I feel like this secret-"
"Hee Jun?" Tony suddenly appeared at the table. Hee Jun again stopped the casette. He looked up at the standing pop star and greeted with, "Tony." Tony sat across from Hee Jun at the restaurant booth.
"What's with the tape of Kangta?"
"That's... kind of why I called you this morning."
Tony cocked his brow. "Oh?"
"Yeah." Hee Jun hit play on the little machine.
After the message ran through, Tony sat, staring at the K7 player like it might get up and do tricks next. This, obviously, was not the case, and Hee Jun said, "Well?"
Tony suddenly burst into a grin and began laughing softly.
"And what, may I ask," Hee Jun snapped, "is so gaddamned funny?"
Tony struggled to contain his girlish giggles. "Well... it's about time." Tony collapsed against the seat behind him.
"What do you mean, 'about time'?"
"It's been so obvious!" Tony stated with confidence. "Haven't you noticed his looks? The way he acts when you act a certain way? The way he does every little thing you ask?"
Hee Jun looked lost and utterly perplexed. "Really?"
Tony nodded sagely. "Now... what did you say to him?"
Hee Jun shook his head. "Actually... I haven't seen him. I found this with a note on the kitchen table this morning." When Tony eyed him, he added, "Kangta got piss drunk and had to sleep over last night. But the thing is... the note with the tape was more of an apology than anything else."
"Well, what will you say to him?"
Hee Jun dropped his head onto the tabletop, muttering, "I don't know, I don't know... what should I say?"
"That depends."
Hee Jun turned his head to the left, lying his cheek flat against the cool surface supporting his head. With a tone of misery, he asked, "Depends on what?"
"Depends on how you feel for him."
Hee Jun groaned. "I don't even know that."
"Then I suggest you figure that out."
Hee Jun looked to Tony desperately. "But what if I see him before I figure it all out?"
"You'll know what to say to him. You two have been best friends for years. Nothing as trivial as this would cause you two to separate."
Hee Jun allowed himself a small, sad smile. "You think so?"
Tony placed a placating hand on Hee Jun's. "I know so."
Hee Jun smiled gratefully at his friend and lifted his head from the table.
"Can I take your orders?" a waitress appeared to serve them.
As they began ordering, Tony wished he was confident enough to apply his thoughts to his own situation and just confess.
~~~
He looked out the window. There they were, walking down the street, coming closer with every passing second. Always together, never alone. He let his venetian blinds fall shut again.
He walked down the hallway, on his way to meet the pair at the front door, and glanced out the hallway window, seeing them coming closer still. Would he reach the front door before they entered?
He reached the front room just as the pair opened the door and entered. A moment of silence issued between the three. Then Tony hugged the large man tightly. "Hey Big Steve," he greeted. Woo Hyuk waved his hello's to the owner of the restaurant.
"What have you guys been up to?" Big Steve asked, bringing them to a table.
"S.S.D.D," Woo Hyuk answered shortly. "You?"
"Nothing new," he answered happily. He brought them to a table and smiled down at them. "So, you guys expecting the others to show up, or is this a... lone night for the two of you?" His implications were obvious. Tony chose to ignore them.
"Lone night. As usual. Speaking of, I'll have my usual, make sure HiSung gets that order directly."
Big Steve turned to Woo Hyuk. The dancer smiled and said, "Same."
Big Steve shook his head good-humoredly and said, "You know, HiSung threatened to cut my throat with that butcher knife if I kept overworking him with 'special orders'. The things I go through to make your nights out... perfect."
Big Steve grinned widely, his thoughts all over his face, and walked away.
Tony thought over the last few weeks. Woo Hyuk had been asking him out a lot more often lately... Did he fear their friendship was slipping?
"Woo Hyuk?"
The dancer looked across the table at his roommate. "Yeah?"
"I just wanted you to know..." Woo Hyuk's eyes seemed to momentarily brighten. "...You're the best friend I've ever had. I really value our friendship, and this time together."
Woo Hyuk's eyes seemed to die a little. He smiled and nodded. "You know I feel the same."
"And if anything ever came between us..." Tony paused. "I just want you to know I never want anything to separate us."
"Separate us? Like what?"
Tony shrugged. "Just... in case. I just want you to know that. Above everything, I would hope that we could oversome anything that comes between us."
"Of course," Woo Hyuk said, looking worriedly at is best friend. "Are you sure that's all you want to tell me?" Woo Hyuk could tell something was on Tony's mind.
But Tony just smiled and said, "Yeah. That's it."
Their food arrived within minutes, and they chatted idly as they ate, enjoying their time together without mobs of fangirls surrounding them.
~~~
Tony threw his head back and moaned loudly, his legs wrapped tightly around Woo Hyuk. "Hyuk-ah," he whispered breathlessly, kissing the man above him, who teased and tortured endlessly. Woo Hyuk ran his hand softly over Tony's bare body, grinning as his hand came into brief contact with Tony's stiff erection. Tony panted heavily, letting out soft moans as Woo Hyuk's hand began to touch him more roughly, wrapping around him and swiftly pumping up and down.
Tony slipped his hand down Woo Hyuk's stomach to his member, which was, he ashamedly and blushingly admitted to himself, quite a bit larger than his own. Tony rubbed it a few times, licking Woo Hyuk's sweat from his neck as the man groaned and stretched his name in pleasure.
Slowly, Woo Hyuk made his way down Tony's body, forcing Tony to release him. Moments of disappointment were wiped away in an instant, as Woo Hyuk's warm mouth enveloped him. Tony's hips bucked upward into the warm cavern, moaning more loudly than he had before. He felt Woo Hyuk's talented tongue swirl around him, touching and pressing every tiny nerve that needed to be pressed.
Tony felt his peak coming. With his moans growing louder and his hips becoming more active, Woo Hyuk knew it too, and sucked harder, until Tony couldn't hold himself back any longer. Suddenly, his world was white and bright and he had never felt anything so good...
...and he opened his eyes to find himself lying in his bed, his pants a sticky mess, while Woo Hyuk slept in the next room. Tony covered his face with a pillow and screamed "Fuck!"
