Lonely Hearts

Heading out into the back yard, Jo entered AJ's recording studio.

"Ah Jo, perfect timing." Smiled AJ brushing his floppy blonde hair away from his eyes.

"This is Zack, he does the keyboard," He nodded to a young man with dark brown eyes and shoulder length black hair who waved shyly.

"I play the drums, Paul as you know is the guitarist and male lead singer and you will hopefully become our new female lead singer and guitarist."

"How come you never asked Jemma?" Enquired Jo.

Paul smirked. "Trust me, it's bad enough hearing her sing in the shower."

Jo laughed and took her electric guitar out of its case, much to the awe of AJ and Zack.

"That is the mother of all electric guitars!" Gasped Zack.

It was electric blue with chrome detailing on the tuning pegs and handle, Jo had also personalised the leather black shoulder strap with chrome spikes.

"We are not worthy!" Laughed AJ bowing down.

"You think she looks hot, wait till she plays." Smirked Jo as she struck a few notes. AJ shuddered.  "Oh man she's a beast!"

Zack smirked. "Excuse him while he has a wank over ur guitar!"

Jo laughed but nothing prepared her for AJ's reaction.

"So what, I can't help it if a beautiful girl gives me a rock-on!"

"TMI bro." Winced Paul, looking wearily at Jo who just giggled, this was going to be a long afternoon.



David got back to his apartment overlooking Cardiff Bay and threw his car keys and jacket down on the sofa, running his hand through his spiky brown hair as he headed out onto his own private balcony and stood looking out over the bay, he sighed and leaned on the balcony rail. He'd been unable to get Sophia off his mind all day and he badly needed to make an effort to clear his head. Maybe a night out with John and Scott would help and the pub/club they had mentioned going to had a live band premiering their new member, should be an interesting evening. "Sod it," He muttered to himself and pulled his mobile from his jeans pocket, dialing John.

"Alrite bud," He said cheerfully. "About tonight...count me in." Hanging up he walked back into the living room, locking the balcony doors behind him and grabbing his jacket and car keys, may as well go into town and get some new gladrags.



Having successfully made the band, Jemma took Jo into town to go and get some lunch and then go on a girly shopping trip to celebrate while the boys headed to the club to set up.

"I think AJ fancies you." Laughed Jemma.

Jo giggled and followed her along Mermaid Quay towards a rather nice little bistro for lunch. "No chance, it'd be like having an affair with Paul behind your back!"

Jemma laughed hysterically as they stopped and leaned against the railings for a quick rest. "Yeah it's a kinda scary thought..." She paused suddenly.

"You okay?" Asked Jo.

"Oh...My...God..."

Jo looked confused.

"Jo, I've just seen David Tennant!" Squealed Jemma excitedly.

"Fuck off Jem!" Laughed Jo cheekily.

"I swear, he's right there!" She snapped, pointing to a tall good looking bloke with spiky brown hair and dark brown eyes wearing jeans, trainers and a grey hooded top.

Jo followed Jemma's line of sight and stared wide eyed. "Fuck me it's Doctor Who!" She giggled before she could help herself.



David was snapped out of his daydream by someone hysterically screaming something about Doctor Who not two feet away from him. He turned and saw two pretty young women leaning against the railings staring at him, one was a tall pretty blonde with green eyes and the other a shorter brunette with bright blue eyes.

"Hey Doctor can you come and sign my DVD boxset?" Screamed Jemma.

David smirked and wandered over to the pair. "Afternoon ladies." He smiled, his gaze lingering on Jo as she waved shyly and looked away.

Jemma eagerly handed over her Doctor who series two boxset and a permenant marker. "So who am I signing this for?"

"Jemma." Smiled Jemma eagerly. "This is my best friend Jo, she's a little shy."

Jo raised an eyebrow in Jemma's direction then smiled at David.

"Well nice to meet you both," He smiled. "See you around."

He handed Jemma's boxset back and walked away, looking back as he did winking at the pair of them, fans always managed to put a smile on his face.
