About an hour later Carrie woke to an empty room. Kelly had left the door open and she could see that she was in the kitchen area of the bus. Carrie stood and watched a dreamy look plastered on her face. Kelly turned to see that she was up.

“You’re awake! So are you hungry?”

“I can eat,” Carrie said not moving from the couch.

“You going to make me bring it to you?”

“Yes I am,” Carrie said sitting up and smiling at Kelly.

Kelly rolled her eyes, “Waffles ok? Ego waffles?”

“Yeah that’s fine,” Carrie answered as her phone started ringing.

Can I see you tomorrow? Is what the text read. Kelly walked to the back of the bus and handed Carrie her plate. Carrie looked like she had seen a ghost.

“Baby? Are you ok?” Kelly asked concerned sitting next to her. Carrie handed her her phone. Kelly read what was on there. “I thought you said you told him you didn’t want to talk to him.”

“I did! He won’t leave me alone.”

“Ok we’ll figure this out. If he calls give the phone to Benny. Benny will freak him out. Till then tell him no because you are on tour.”

“Kel, he knows I don’t start touring yet.”

“Exactly maybe he’ll get the hint that you don’t want to see him.” Kelly replied. Carrie start typing back to him. “You know if you want I can go kick his ass for you.” Carrie smiled throwing her phone toward the opposite end of the couch. Carrie kissed her on the cheek.

“Awe so cute when you are all tough,” Carrie said getting up walking to the kitchen. She grabbed the whip cream and came back.

“I forgot you eat that stuff on yours,” Kelly said her face cringed.

“It’s good,” Carrie said putting the whipped cream on her waffles.

“Yuck,” Kelly said continuing to eat. Carrie came back and began eating. Kelly was done way before Carrie. Putting her plate down in front of her, a mischievous look on her face. She grabbed Carrie’s chin turning her face so she could look at Carrie. She leaned in capturing Carrie’s lips with hers. Her other hand took a little bit of the whipped cream bringing her hand up to Carrie’s face, she wiped the whipped cream down Carrie’s cheek and neck then pulling away fast from Carrie.

“You…” Carrie said wiping her face and setting down her plate.

“I love you,” Kelly said sweetly. Carrie laughed sarcastically. “You missed some.” Kelly said leaning in licking Carrie’s neck. Then trailing kisses up her neck reaching her lips. Kelly laid Carrie down softly on the couch, as their kiss deepened. Their tongues fighting for dominance, Kelly winning in the end. Kelly pinned Carrie’s arms above her head holding both hers hand with both of hers. Their fingers intertwining, Kelly pulled away from the kiss trailing kisses back to her neck. Softly sucking in on Carrie’s neck leaving love marks. Kelly moved back up resting her forehead against Carrie’s. She gave her a soft kiss on the lips and pulled away.

“I think we should stop before we go any further as much as I want to I just don’t think it would be too romantic to make love to you on a bus,” Kelly said looking into Carrie’s eyes. She released one of Carrie’s hands so she could caress Carrie’s cheek.

Carrie’s brushed the stray hair that covered Kelly’s face behind her ear. Her hand resting on Kelly’s cheek caressing it with her thumb, “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Kelly said closing the gap between their lips. Kelly pulled away removing herself from atop Carrie.

“So are we staying overnight tonight?” Carrie asked.

“Yes I do believe we are cause it doesn’t take long to get to the next stop.”

“Ok,” Carrie said. For the rest of the bus trip the girls talked. The were about ten minutes away from the venue, Carrie said, “I liked this Kelly.”

“Like what?”

“Talking. It was like the night we met and we went back to the hotel room and just talked about all kinds of things. I missed this. I mean we talk but we haven’t talked talked you know.”

“Yeah I agree,” Kelly said wrapping her arm around Carrie’s neck resting it on her shoulder pulling her closer. Carrie put her head on Kelly’s shoulder. Kelly kissed the top of Carrie’s head. Kelly placed her other hand on top of Carrie’s stomach. Carrie placed her hand atop Kelly’s. The bus pulled into the arena where Kelly was playing. Kelly took a deep breath in and out, before standing up.

“Baby, are you ok?”

“Yeah just a little nervous.”

“Why you’re amazing and you will be amazing.”

“I know I guess with you here I just have more to sing about.”

“That was so cheesy, but so cute at the same time. I love you,” Carrie said standing up giving Kelly a soft kiss on the lips.

“I love you too. Come on lets go.” The two got of the bus.

“Ok Kel here’s what we are going to do. You have a sound check in a little bit and then you’ll have about 2 hours to rest before the show starts then you’ll do the meet and greet right after. Then we can head to the hotel and we don’t have to leave until about 10 tomorrow. Cool?”

“Cool,” Kelly said following Jason into the building Carrie stood by Benny.

“Hey Benny do you think I can head to the hotel. I have a surprise for Kelly I’ll be back before her show and everything.”

“Yeah I don’t think that will be a problem. I’ll get the driver for you and you can tell her you are heading out.”

“Thanks Benny,” Benny headed over to talk to the limo driver while Carrie went to go talk to Kelly. “Hey Kelly?”

“What’s up baby?”

“I want to go to the mall.”

“What?”

“Mom’s birthday is coming up and I have to go get her something. So, I figured since we were by the mall I would head over there and pick her up something while you do your sound check I’ll be back before your two hour break.”

“Ok baby have fun be careful.”

“I will. You want anything?”

“Nah I’m good.”

“Ok have a fun sound check.”

“Oh I will. I’ll see you later. I love you,” Kelly said leaning in giving Carrie a kiss on the cheek.

“Love you too. See you in a little while,” Carrie said. She walked to the limo, Benny standing right by it.

“Here you are here’s the key to the room. Room 1634.”

“Thank Benny you are the best.”

“I got your bag for you too it’s in the trunk.”

“Thank you!” Carrie said getting in the car.
