night time talks

Kelly's pov





Kelly sat excitedly in her seat with her eyes focused fully on the girl in front of her. Carrie's voice filled the concert hall as the crowd around her reacted to it. Kelly could feel her mothers eyes on her as she tried her hardest to stay focused on Carrie.



'She's very loud.......'Kelly rolled her eyes as she heard her mother speak.



'She's got a mic mother........im loud too with one of them........'



'Your loud without one......'Stephen joked. He sat beside Kelly with Carrie's mother beside him. Jeanne had picked the seat furtherest away from them. Carrie's mothers little digs were beginning to be a little to much for her.



'Ha ha.......'Kelly giggled as her eyes caught her wife's, sending her a wink Kelly smiled as Carrie's cheeks began to blush. Kelly loved making Carrie blush in a crowd, it was always so easy to do.





Flashback





Kelly couldn't believe Carrie had never been to watch a movie since winning Idol. So for their fife date Kelly was determined to get the blonds butt in a movie seat and make her watch the latest release.



'What if people look........' Carrie sat slumped in the car as she watched the crowds enter the cinema.



'So they look......You aren't used to it by now?........'



'Yea but usually I have managers or a bodyguard with me......what if we get mobbed......'



'I'm here.......'Kelly shrugged.



'And?......'Carrie turned to look at her date. ' what are you going to do?.......'



'I can do things......'Kelly answered with a pout.



''Like what?.....'Carrie had to laugh. 'I've seen twelve year old fans bigger than you.........'



'Oh it's like that.......'Kelly climbed out the car. 'You'll be sorry for saying that........' Kelly walked ahead as Carrie got out the car.



'Hey wait up......'Carrie jogged up to Kelly. ' I was only joking......' Carrie was worried now.



'You sure?......' Kelly stopped at the entrance, she looked towards Carrie as she pulled her hat down lower over her eyes.



'Very.....'Carrie said breathlessly. Kelly couldn't help but smile.



'Good.......' Kelly waited for Carrie to get her breath back before entering the cinema. The place was packed filled with the usual Friday night crowd.



'Kelly are you sure about this?.......'Carrie looked around her as she felt Kelly behind her.



'Oh my god........'Carrie spun round hearing Kelly's voice fill the large area. She was so loud she had stopped almost all of the loud chatter.



'What?.....'Carrie looked Kelly over to make sure she wasn't hurt.



'Your Carrie Underwood........'Carrie looked at Kelly in shock as the short blond began to speak in a very bad New York accent. ' The American Idol.........oh my family loves you dear..........'The more Kelly's voice got louder the more redder Carrie's face got.



'Kelly.....'Carrie tried to whisper.



'You are so much prettier in person........and taller too.....'Kelly began walking around Carrie examining her clothes. 'Must be rich too......look at those shoes......'Everyone was looking now.



'Kelly please......'



'Sing us a song........'Kelly stood in front of her now, a small group of children at her side.



'No.....'Carrie shook her head in shock.



'Oh go on......do it......'



'Yea do it......'The children beside her chanted.



'You can't say no.....'Kelly's smile was bright as she spoke.



'Fine.....but then you stop........'



'Promise......'Kelly placed her hand over her heart.





What is this feeling taking over

'That's Kelly Clarkson.......'The little girl beside Kelly began to jump up and down.



'Yea do you like her?......'The little boy quizzed.



'Not really......'Carrie's eyes were focused on Kelly.



'Oh you have to....'The little girl answered. 'You two are a team.......the best American idols ever......'



'Yea.....'The little boy agreed.



'OK....'Carrie sighed, 'I like her......' Kelly moved away a little as Carrie began signing things for the small crowd that gathered around her.

'That was low.......really low......'Carrie and Kelly had stayed silent all through the movie but were now walking back to their car hand in hand. The car park was almost empty with only a few cars left.



'I thought it was funny.....i mean really funny........'Kelly tried not to giggle.



'You would......you have a really weird sense of humour.........'As they reached the car Carrie leaned against it while Kelly stood in front of her.



'Hey ....it got you over that little fear you had........you went into a crowded place and nothing bad happened......'



'Nothing bad happened?......i had to sing......'



'Which is what you do for a living.......you wanted those kids to pay?.....'



'What?....no it's just you put me on the spot.....'Carrie tried to sound hurt but Kelly could see she was pretending.



'And nothing happened.......' Kelly began buttoning up Carrie's coat as the wind picked up around them. 'We had fun it was a good night.......'



'We could have been mobbed.....'Carrie sighed, she really didn't know what her point was now.



'But we didn't.......'Kelly pulled away to look at Carrie. ' 'Im not getting a good night kiss am I?.........



'Nope.....'Carrie leaned in kissing Kelly softly on the lips.



'So what was that?.....'Kelly asked confused.



'That's a your forgiven kiss.........You'll have to behave before you get a good night kiss from me......'





End Of Flashback





Kelly was thankful the blond forgave her before they pulled into her street. She was finally forgive after a long five minutes of promises never to do it again. Kelly's eyes returned to the stage as she watched her wife entertain the large crowd. She was proud of the person Carrie had became since she met her, no longer the shy scared singer. Carrie mouthed a silent I love you towards Kelly as she walked towards the front of the stage. Kelly mouthed it back before Carrie turned towards the other side of the stage.



'Is there a need for that......'Jeanne sat looking at her daughter.



'I love her......'Kelly said simply.



'And now we all know......'



'And why shouldn't you?......'Kelly leaned into her mother before she continued. 'I love her mom......i always will.......the sooner you stop fighting this and accept it fully the easier your life will be..........so grow up or shut up......'Kelly turned back to her wife, Carrie needed her attention right now, not her mother.
