Everything I Own

Lance looked at Doris and said, “Hey you wanna help me start setting up everything?” “Sure lance no prob”. They went into the kitchen and started getting everything out. Chris sat in front of the TV like a little kid playing video games. Amber sat on the couch looking exhausted. Justin looked over at her and said, “hey your looking tired, how about you lay down in my bed for a bit and ill come get you when the guys get back” “You know that sounds like a good idea” Justin got up. “Here i'll walk you there”. They walked into Justin’s room and Amber laid down on the bed. Justin sat next to her and said, “You know im really glad your ok. I was really worried about you” Amber smiled, “Really you were that worried about me?” Justin smiled, “Yeah why wouldn’t I be? You’re a very special person and you mean a lot to me”. Amber smiled and then both of them felt the awkward silence and Justin started leaning in slowly to kiss her. Right as he was about to touch her lips with his, the house intercom switched on and they heard Chris singing, “Who let the dogs out whoo whoo whoo whoo” Justin laughed and said, “What the hell is he doing now?” He got up and went over to the intercom and said, “Chris, thanks for ruining the moment”. Chris laughed and said back, “Well I just thought you would want some romantic music” Justin shook his head and looked at Amber and said, “You rest, i'll be back soon”. He started going downstairs and went into the kitchen and saw Doris and Lance and said, “I thought you were keeping an eye on our dear Christopher?” Lance laughed, “Why what did he do man?” “Well, I was TRYING to have a moment with Amber”wink wink”and then Chris decided to serenade us with his idea of a romantic song” Lance laughed, “What song was it?” Just then Chris walked into the kitchen laughing and singing, ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’. Justin pointed at Chris and said, “That one, that’s the song” Doris looked at Justin and smiled big and said, “So Mr. Timberlake what kind of moment were you trying to have with Amber huh?”. Justin kinda blushed and looked sheepishly at Doris and said, “Well um….” And at that moment JC and Joey came into the kitchen and said, “Hey guys were back” Chris laughed, “I guess they saved your ass huh?” Justin glared at Chris, “Just go help them with the rest of the bags. I have to get Amber up”. Chris smirked at Justin, “Yeah sure whatever Justin” and went out to get the bags.


Justin goes upstairs to get Amber. JC looked at lance, “What was that all about?” Lance kinda laughed, “I think Justin was about to put the moves on Amber and Chris kinda interrupted”. JC and Joey laughed and left to go get more bags. Justin comes in and gets Amber up and they come downstairs. Everyone gathered in the kitchen to help prepare for dinner. Doris looked around the kitchen, “Now where did Chris wander off to? I swear that boy needs a leash”. Just then Chris pops up out of nowhere wearing a kiss the cook apron and a chefs hat and sunglasses and oven mitts, “Did someone say my name?”. Everyone looked at Chris and burst out laughing. Chris looked at everyone, “What? There’s nothing wrong with what im wearing”. Amber looked at Chris, “What makes you think your going anywhere near the grill?” Chris walked over to Amber and wrapped his arms around her waist, “What you don’t trust my cooking?” amber laughed, “Nice apron Chris” and kissed him on the cheek and noticed Justin giving Chris an evil eye as Chris laughed and started heading out to the grill singing, ‘who Let The Dogs Out’. Lance laughed, “I think i'd better go keep an eye on him. Wanna come with me Doris?” “Sure lance”, and they walked out side with Chris.


Amber went over and sat down on a chair because she was feeling weak from standing to long. Justin came over to her and put his hand on her shoulder, “Why don’t you stay here with me, that way I can keep an eye on you and make sure your ok”. Amber shook her head, “Justin I couldn’t do that, I don’t want to be putting you out” “No, no its ok really, I don’t mind honest” Amber smiled, “Well ok then Justin if you insist” Justin smiled, “Cool im glad your staying here”. Just then lance stuck his head on the door, “Ok were ready for the meat now”. Joey started to carry out the meat to Chris. JC looked at Justin, “So we eating in or out?” Justin laughed, “Definitely out, you guys are not messing up my house. Come on Amber”. Amber got up and went outside with JC and Justin and sat down by the pool. A bit later, Chris yelled, “Chow time. Come and get it”. Amber went to get up and Justin stopped her, “No i'll get it for you, don’t worry”. They all got their food and sat down at the table and started eating and talking about old times. After they were done eating the guys helped Justin clean up the mess. Then the guys decided to call it a night. Justin and Amber walked everyone to the door. JC, Joey and Lance hugged Amber and then Chris came up and hugged Amber and kissed her and smiled at Justin, “Hey I got to kiss her before you did”. Justin laughed kind of embarrassed, “Ok time to leave now Chris”. They all left and went back to their houses.
