Chapter 4

“OH MY GOD GERARD YOUR GIRLFRIEND GAVE AND A BALD SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!” screamed Frank on the way home from school later that day. “ where are we gonna have band practice?” Mikey said between Drags of his cigarette from beside Aries. Gerard threw his cigarette out the window and exhaled. “ Mikey Remember we have to go see mom’s family this weekend.” He looked over at a very hurt Nerissa. He sighed Damn he hated breaking promises to people ESPECIALLY HER!!!!!! He kept his eyes on the road. 5 minutes later they were pulled up in front of Nerissa’s house. she gave Gerard a cold hurt glare when he just lit up a cigarette and when she kept looking at him said in a snappy confused way “ what?!” she got out of the car with out a word and slammed the car door so hard that the glass rattled.
She slowly walked up the walkway to her house and opened the door, Gerard was right behind her he was going to say he was Sorry.
She stepped in and Slammed the door directly in his face. ‘ what the hell’ she thought to herself ‘”oh yeah we’ll go to the movies this weekend and hang out just you and me” my ass’ she thought to herself as she lit up a cigarette.
The phone rang, so she picked it up
“hello?”
“hey rissa it is Mikey can u open the door please?”
she was curious
“it all depends on who is out side of the door because frankly if it is your brother I am most likely going to deck him” she answered
He chuckled
“no I am standing out here freezing my balls off can u please open the door I wanna talk to you” he said
She could hear his teeth chattering as she opened the door.
Mikey closed his cell phone. “ man did you make that boys bleed” he laughed.
She shrugged “good”
Mikey sighed as he stepped inside.
“ look he probably forgot to tell you about the family reunion. We’ll only be gone this weekend your making it seem like we are moving…….”
She cut him off. “ Mikey he promised me this weekend he was going to take me to the movies and we would go to the beach and an amusement park. The HE would spend time with me and me alone because there are something he and I need to talk about without everyone around. I was VERY excited about this weekend and all the sudden I get shot down in a matter of seconds. So yeah I am a little pissed off.” She said in a strangely calm voice that was almost like a whisper.
Mikey looked down feeling like an ass.
“Oh, well yeah he was totally wrong to make those promises. I’m sorry Nerissa I didn’t know. I am so used to sticking up for him that………” Nerissa held up a hand
" No need he has to learn Mikey. I am not the kind of person who will sit there and let someone break a promise. Trust means alot to me and he needs to relize right now his word means nothing to me. maybe in a couple days it will." she said sitting down and handing Mikey a cup of coffee. He smiled.
" you know I have an Idea" Mikey said sitting back
Nerissa Looked at him
" And that would be what Mr.Way” she asked very curious
Mikey smiled that boy like smile he always does,
“Wells Frank’s Girlfriend Kelsey is coming back into town tonight with bob’s girlfriend Amanda aka Nene and Ray’s girlfriend Paris. I think maybe they would like to meet you consitering I can tell you are falling for. I am thinking you guys should have a girls weekend. In fact…” he looked at his watch “ I told frank..I would pick them up at the airport” he looked over at her “ wanna go and meet them?”
She smiled and wrote a note:
Mom-
I went with Mikey to the airport I will back in a bit
If Gerard calls have him call me on my cell I have a bone to pick with him.

She taped it to the door and grabbed her purse and coat and headed to the car.

She got in and Mikey popped in Aerosmith.
She looked at him “ Mikey have I ever told you that you are a mind reader?” she asked offering him a smoke
He laughed and took one and started driving.
“yeah so I have heard”
