chapter 4?
Hey! I'm off sick from work at the moment but i cant sleep so i thought I'd use my time creatively and write a new chapter! I hope it's ok and thank you to my lovely karin who's been looking after me while i've been crying and being a pain in the ass! thank you my sweetheart.
Bam was on auto pilot for the rest of the weekend, not conciously aware of doing anything. He kept his cellphone switched off and himself locked in the house. In fact, the first thing he finally became aware of doing was saying hello to his friends when he got to school on monday.
"Hey dude, where were you all weekend? I tried calling you on sunday but I couldn't get through to your cell and your mom doesn't like me calling your house. Johnny said.
"Uh yeah, I was sick all weekend." Bam lied. The embarassment that he was being stalked by another man and made to do things when the guy wasn't even in the room with him to threaten him face to face, made Bam keep quiet about what really happened.
"...So we'll have the party at your house, right Bam?"
He was snapped out of his thoughts by Dico. "Huh? I wasn't listening, sorry."
"Yeah, I noticed." Dico replied good naturedly. "Schools closed wednesday for that teachers exam thing that they're all going to so we're having a party round yours on tuesday nightbecause you're the only one with no parents there. Are you cool with that?"
"Yeah sure." Bam replied, relieved that he wouldn't have to be on his own in the house for at least one night. "But there's no alcohol in the house now so you'll have to bring your own."
The bell rang and they headed for the school, but almost of it's own accord, Bam's hand shot out and grasped at Dunn's arm.
"Hey, uh..I was wondering if you wanted to stay over mine tonight, it's been ages since we've hung out, just us two."
"Yeah, that'd be awsome." Dunn grinned. "I'll go back to mine after school and tell my parents where I'll be and just grab what I'll need before I go to yours."
*As long as I keep people round me, he can't make me do anything." At least that's what he kept telling himself as he continued unseeingly through the day.
After an hour of detention, Bam was finally allowed to go home. It had been a long day and he hurried the whole way back to his house, checking anxiously over his shoulder every time he heard a noise.
His sigh of relief when he reached his front door with no problems, was short lived when he saw a dozen red roses laying on the porch. There was no card with them but it was painfully obvious who they were from. He picked them up and took them inside, throwing them straight into the trash can, running a hand over his face wearily.
Deciding to try and block everything from his mind and concentrate on having a good evening with his friend, he ran upstairs and had a shower before cleaning up and putting down a matress on his bedroom floor for Dunn to sleep on like he usually did when he stayed over.
He was looking for the pizza delivery number when the doorbell rang. "Who is it?" He called out, not wanting to open the door to his stalker.
"It's the easter fucking bunny, who the fuck do you think it is?" Dunn's voice came back.
Grinning in relief, Bam opened the door to let him in. "Hey dude, were your parents cool with you coming over?"
"Yeah, you know my parents; as long as I don't get kept backa grade, they don't care what I do." Dunn dropped his bag down by the door and threw himself on the couch.
"I've just got to find the leaflet for the pizza place so I can get the phone number and order."
"You mean this?" Dunn smirked pulling the delivery menu out from under his ass. "I was wondering what I was sitting on!"
"You can order the pizzas then cos I'm not touching anything that's been under your sweaty ass!" Bam laughed. "You're gonna have to use my cell phone though because the house phone is broken."
"That wouldn't have anything to do with you skating in the house would it?!" Dunn grinned.
"Well how was I to know that Ape had moved the table and the phone closer to the stairs? I always skate down the stairs, it's not my fault." Bam pouted.
"Stop whining!" Dunn laughed. "Give me your cell and I'll call."
"I'll have my usual." Bam said, handing over the phone. "I gotta take a piss, I'll be back in a minute."
Ryan called the pizza place and gave their order, being told that it would be with them within half an hour. He'd only just hung up the phone when it started to ring. Making a quick decision, he answered it, hoping that Bam wouldn't mind.
"Hello?"
"You're not Bam." Came the blunt reply and Dunn raised his eyebrows in suprise even though he knew the other man couldn't see him.
"No, I'm his friend Ryan, he'll be back in a few seconds though if you wanted to call him back or something."
"No it's ok, I'll wait."
"Uh, ok." Dunn was unsure of what to say to the rude, brusque man on the other end of the line and he was relieved to see Bam walking down the hall.
"There's a phone call for you dude." He said, holding out the phone.
"Who is it?" Bam asked nervously.
"I dunno, he didn't say." Dunn shrugged.
Bam took the phone reluctantly, shooting a glare at a confused Ryan. "Hello?"
"Hello sweetheart." The accented voice cooed gently. "I missed talking to you yesterday, your phone was switched off. Did you like the roses I got you though?"
Bam could see Dunn watching him curiously so he pulled the phone away from his ear and tried to sound casual. "I'm just gonna take this in the kitchen cos it's kinda private. You can look through my dvd's if you want and find one to watch."
He walked into the kitchen, shutting the door behind him.
"Well, did you?"
"Huh? Did I what?" Bam asked impatiently.
"Did you like the roses?"
Bam looked over at the trash can where some of the rose stems were still sticking out. Ville sounded so hopeful, like a little child who wanted his parents to be proud of a picture he'd drawn at school, and part of Bam wanted to say yes, just so he didn't hurt his feelings.
The rational part of his brain though, reminded him that the guy was stalking him and had made him do something that he didn't even want to think about."
"No, I didn't. Stop doing it." Bam said forcefully.
"Oh." The word was said in such a small, crushed voice that Bam felt a twinge of guilt before he could stop it.
"Don't try and make yourself sound so innocent." Bam said angrily. "We both know that you're not."
"I never said that I was." Ville replied. "But I sent you those roses because I love you and I thought you'd like them."
"You don't love me." Bam said through gritted teeth. "You don't even know me."
"I know enough to know that I want you to be mine."
"You're really not getting that I'm straight are you?"
"You won't be for long darling. Once you see how good it can be, you'll change your mind. You know, it's a shame you're not alone so we can play some more." Ville purred suggestively.
"No." Bam hissed. "I'm not doing anything like that EVER again. It was the most humiliating thing I've ever done in my life."
"It wasn't meant to humiliate you baby, I'd never do that to you. I know you don't believe me but I love you and I will make you mine eventually."
"Stop saying that and don't call me that." Bam exclaimed in frustration. All of a sudden the doorbell rang and he heard Dunn's voice call through saying that he was going to answer it. A sudden thought ran through his head.
"That's not you at the door is it?" He asked, panicked.
"Sorry to disappoint you sweetheart but it's not. It's a pizza delivery man."
"Are you watching my house again?" Bam groaned.
"Of course I am, I have to keep an eye on my love. Tell your friend Ryan from me that if he even thinks about touching you, I'll kill him."
Ville hung up before he could reply and Bam tried not to worry about the threat towards Dunn as he went into the lounge just in time to pay the delivery guy. Both boys sat down with their pizzas and started to watch an action film that Bam couldn't even remember the name of.
"So what was up with that guy you were talking to on the phone?" Dunn asked with his mouth full, spraying crumbs of pizza everywhere.
""Uh, nothing. He's just a little weird about talking to people he doesn't know."
"So how do you know him?"
"He's...um, he's someone I know through skating."
"Oh right." Dunn either didn't know or didn't care that Bam was lying and he dropped the subject, focusing his attention back on the film.
The rest of the evening was spent playing pool and trying to beat each other on games on Bam's X-box. Late into the night, saw them laying on their beds talking about which girls they wanted to try and hook up with at the party.
"I think I have a shot with Angie." Dunn said sleepily. It was nearly midnight but both of them had history first class and they always slept through it anyway.
"Yeah? Why'd you think that?"
"Her friend told me she was into me." Dunn replied as if it were obvious. "And you have Missy so you're only allowed to look which means more chicks for me!"
"Actually I don't have Missy anymore. She dumped me."
"What the fuck dude? What's her problem?" Dunn asked, angry that she would hurt his best friend.
"She said that I'm too immature for her and that me wanting to be a pro skater was a stupid dream that was never going to happen."
"Well she's a spoilt little bitch. How dare she say that to you."
"Ry, don't call her that!"
"I'm sorry man but any chick who dumps you because you like to have a laugh isn't worth the hassle. Hey, Jenn's gonna be there tomorrow night, you know she really likes you."
"Dude, you know I have a history with Jenn. She's a nice girl but I don't want to go back there, I've moved on."
"Ok, it's your decision but just so you know, her hair's brown again and I know how much you love brunettes!"
"Dunn, shut up and go to sleep!"
"Yeah alright. Night dude." Dunn laughed.
"Night Ry."
Bam was woken by the sound of his alarm clock the next morning. He groaned wearily and fumbled to switch it off without having to open his eyes. When that didn't work, he picked it up and threw it across the room where it hit the wall with a satisfying crash, the annoying beeping coming to a halt. He heard the sound of Ryan laughing so he leaned over the edge of his bed, finally opening his eyes.
"What's so funny?"
"You and your temper first thing in the morning, that's what's funny!" Dunn chuckled. "Anyway, we have more important things to talk about."
"Like what?"
"Like who Ville is."
"WHAT?" Bam nearly fell off the bed in panic. "What do you know about Ville?"
"Nothing." Replied Dunn in confusion. "Just that you were saying her name an awful lot in your sleep last night! Is it a foreign name? Cos I've never heard it before."
"I was saying hi..her name? Was it in a nightmare kind of way or in a sex dream kind of way?" Bam asked warily.
"The way you were moaning?! Definately a sex dream dude!!"
"Oh my god." Bam groaned, flopping back onto the bed and covering his face with his hands.
"Don't worry about it man, it's nothing to be embarassed about." Dunn comforted. "I won't tell anyone."
"Uh, yeah thanks dude. Listen, I think I'm gonna skip school today, I'm feeling kinda sick."
"No problem. The party's still happening tonight though right?"
"Sure." Bam replied absentmindedly. He barely noticed as Dunn got ready and left for school, the state of shock he was in consumed him.
He couldn't have had a sex dream about Ville, he didn't know him and he was a guy for fucks sake, he didn't like guys like that. As hard as he tried to convince himself that it hadn't happened, he had to admit that there was no way that Dunn could have made it up. He continued to agonize over it until he finally fell back to sleep.
The room was dark and Bam couldn't see anything. All he knew was that he was laying on something soft and the sound of someone else breathing meant that he wasn't alone.
"Hello? Who's there?" He called out.
No one replied, but he felt the other person lay down beside him.
"You look so beautiful darling." A voice whispered in his ear.
"Ville?"
"Who else were you expecting?" Lips covered his own before he could reply and experienced hands started to explore his body. He could feel himself responding to his touch and he arched his back as he let out a moan of pleasure.
"I want to be inside you sweetheart." His voice whispered again and Bam knew there was no way he could say no to this man.
"Yes. I want you." He sighed out.
"NO." Bam shot up in bed, completely horrified. "It didn't happen, it didn't happen." He kept chanting to himself desperate to believe that he hadn't just dreamt about having sex with another man.
He got out of bed and took a shower, deciding that if he didn't think about it then maybe it would go away. He'd gotten very good at denial since Ville had started stalking him.
Wandering downstairs into the lounge, he looked at the clock and realised that he'd slept all day and he needed to move all of Ape's ornaments and shit because if any of them got broken she'd kill him.
He grabbed an empty box from the basement and started the long task of collecting up all the little trinkets that she refused to get rid of. Finally he got the last one and he carefullt took the box back down into the basement. He was comign up the stairs when he heard Dunn's voice.
"Hey dude! We've brought booze!"
He ran upstairs to find Dunn, Novak, Knoxville, Dico and Raab all laden down with bags full of alcohol.
"Where the hell did you guys get all this?" Bam asked in wonder as he took a few of the bags and led them through to the kitchen.
"The off licence, where else?!" Knoxville said.
"Yeah but we're all underage, there's no way they let you buy all that.
"I have a fake ID, so it wasn't a problem!" Novak grinned.
"Why am I not suprised." Bam replied sarcastically. "Did you buy out the entire store? There's every drink ever made here!"
"Hey, pretty much the entire school is turning up, we have to make sure this is something they'll never forget!"
By 10.45 the place was heaving with people, most of them drunk and most of them Bam didn't even know or recognize. The music was pumping and everyone seemed to be having a good time. He hadn't felt like drinking so he just watched everyone else stagger around and fall over each other.
"Hey, great party dude!" Knoxville slurred, wrapping an arm around Bam's waist. "You know, you look really hot tonight."
"Uh, Johnny, It's me you're talking to, Bam, remember?" Bam said trying to pry Knoxville's arm off him.
"I know that, silly!" Knoxville giggled, losing his balance and falling against Bam, knocking them both into the wall. "You still look fuckable Bammie."
Eyes wide with shock, Bam almost didn't notice Johnny leaning in for a kiss until it was too late. Pushing him away at the last minute, Bam held him at arms length. "Johnny, I know you probably won't remember any of this tomorrow but I'm not interested, you're a friend. A very annoying friend, but a friend all the same."
"Fine." Knoxville pouted, upset. "Then I'm not going to tell you about the couple about to have sex on your bed."
"There's a couple about to have sex on my bed? Eew that's gross, I'm gonna go and get rid of them." He pushed his way through the crowd and up the stairs.
"How did he know about the...damn." Knoxville grumbled to himself as he looked for someone else to molest.
Bam threw open the door to his room just in time to see a completely drunk jock attempting to undo some chicks bra. "HEY. that's my bed, get the fuck out and do that somewhere else."
"Oh come on man." The guy complained. "There is nowhere else and we've already gotten started."
"I don't give a fuck. Get the hell out of my room."
The couple did as they were told, shooting dirty looks at him as they walked past. Glad he'd had a lock put on his door, Bam fumbled in his pocket for the key, notcing a guy standing in the hallway that he hadn't seen before.
He had shoulder length, dark brown curly hair and emerald green eyes lined with khol and pink eyeshadow. He was wearing tight leather pants and blood red shirt with a long black coat over the outfit. He was slightly feminine and Bam had to admit that the guy was really very pretty.
"Uh, the bathroom's down the hall and to the left if that's what you're looking for." Bam pointed, still searching for his key. The words that came out of the guys mouth next though, froze him completely.
"I was looking for you. Did you miss me sweetheart?"
